Sprite changing and sweet honey [UPDATE #4] |

The two mystery boxes have been revealed: a sprite changer and sweet honey.
The sprite changer is a one-use item that lets you change a Pokémon's sprite to a different one (if more are available). All the sprites from gens 3, 4, and 5 (with the exception of some of the forms, for now, from 5) have been added. Gens 1 and 2 will be added in the future, don't worry. The hidden achievements have also been uncovered: they're related to the sprite changing. We're also recording which alternate sprites for which Pokémon you've obtained, and sometimes you might just hatch a Pokémon that is already using a sprite different than the site default. The sweet honey is something that Jeff put in that was suggested (by Fade, see we do listen to suggestions when they're worth doing). He'll explain more about what this is in the 2nd post. If there's any issues with either of these updates, let us know. EDIT: I should mention that to change your Pokémon's sprite (if you have the item), the option is in the Pokémon's Options drop-down. UPDATE: The alt sprites you've obtained for each Pokemon are displayed in your Pokedex now, by clicking the very bottommost icon on the right-hand side. I've also made some other minor improvements and bug fixes to the Dex as well. UPDATE #2: Your total alternate sprites unlocked are now displayed in the stats tab, and there are some general usage stats here as well. UPDATE #3: A Pokedex search filter for viewing entries with alt. sprites has been added. A search option has also been added to the PC. UPDATE #4: Gen 1 and 2 sprites have now been added! All that's missing right now are Gen 2 & 5 Unown and some forms in Gen 5. For Gen 1, normal Pokémon will have the colored sprites. For shiny Pokémon, however, you'll get the monochrome version of the sprite (the original color-less image in the games). NO, there won't be Gen 1 or 2 sprites for Pokémon that were introduced after those Gens. Don't ask. The way Sweet Honey works is fairly straight-forward: it's similar in nature to Repel, but used in the Egg Shelter, not the Lab, and it attracts eggs for your Shiny Hunts, not ones you haven't obtained. Just note that to prevent abuse, it only works on hunts for which you have already hatched at least 15 eggs, so you'll have to find a few without it's help before using it, yup yup.
