The Bastion of Insanity. Truely a place to behold. 7 Floors tall, 36 square miles at the ground level, this walking fortress is said to be powered by the DarkBramble Heart, an artifact of unimaginable power. each beat of this horrid macguffin sends madness echoing through the building's decrepit halls. Even more startling, it is said this artifact may grant one wish to anyone who manages to brave the halls of this hallowed building. Many have come in search of this ultimate prize, but all have failed.
Many a creature walks these abandoned halls, tormented by the eternal cry of madness. They are as grotesque as they are varied, both in appearance and in temperament. Though many a hero has slaughtered without mercy, these creatures are all independent beings, with thoughts and ideas, as terrifying as it may be.Most are not as dumb as they appear, and can be reasoned with. The most powerful of these beings are the Bosses.
The Bosses are powerful creatures, so powerful that they have been entrusted with the Keys. These keys open the door to the DarkeBramble Heart, but only if they are all used at once. They are the smartest of their kind, and each rules over a certain area of the Bastion, and all creatures that reside within. In addition to their keys, each posesses an Artifact, which gives them power. It is said that a portion of their soul. The only beings that could potentially stand up to them are the Heros.
Heros are as varied as the day is long, and come from all universes. They are of all shapes and sizes, genders, and species. There are all types of classes, even going so far as to have none at all. They speak all languages, and come from various backgrounds. There are no limits to what makes a hero, only that they are challenging the Bastion to obtain the DarkeBramble Heart.
The Keeper of The DarkeBramble Heart is a powerful demon, known only by his title, That Which Perceives The Universe. This being resides in a dungeon, behind and all but inpenitratable door. Only by gaining the keys entrusted to the foul gardians of the bastion can it be opened, and the creature confronted. However, there have not been many challenges as of late, and That Which Perceives The Universe has decided to take matters into it's own hands.
The Powerful creature has summoned a group of Heroes to keep things lively. It has not informed any being of this decision. Perhaps this will be it's demise, but it thinks not. After all, it is the most powerful being in the entire castle, how could any being stand up to him, or any boss dare defy him? Truly no being would be so stupid as to betray an all seeing entity.
But perhaps they will, for this journey has only just begun...

A Few Facts.
The Bastion (click to showhide)
The Bastion is a gigantic sprawling dungeon of sorts. Because those that sign up decide a few sections, I cannot describe it fully. However, I can give a basic jist of the layout. It is 6 Miles by 6 miles, and located atop a large section of land. It has seven floors, not including the Base floor and the basement floor, or Dungeon. The areas that can be claimed are North, East, West, and South, with a floor number named. Technically, That Which Perceives The Universe can see everything that is happening in the entire castle, but he only controls the entirety of the Dungeon and the Entrance, which is Base Floor North.
Current Areas:
The Entrance: (Base Floor North) The Entrance can be described as a large, empty appearing main hall and conjoining hallways. Any creature in this place is weak and a bit stupid. those of foul temper will attack on sight, otherwise they will ignore the heroes. A few suits of rusty appearing human shaped armor, dusty dresser tables, and empty flower pots are perhaps the only cover in this place, And small torches line the walls, flickering with purple flames. Elaborate windows featuring the Bosses of the Bastion are also a common sight in the Entrance. Somewhere within this area is where all Heroes begin.
Shift: (1st Floor West) Her own personal realm that is located on the farthest east wing of the castle. There is where the user enters and runs upon a child's bedroom. The room is very dim with a single light bulb hand by a few wires, flickering on and off. On the left side is a pink, floral-covered treasure chest that contains dolls, stuffed animals, coloring books, and anything else of the sort. On the right is a canopy bed covered with sparkling pink sheets and ribbons, and the pillows stuffed completely with feathers. However, when the user looks up there is actual a painting of the original creatures that were known as shapeshifters that contain each piece of the Eyes of Mimicry. As soon as the user locates this painting the room begins to melt completely , dripping and oozing from the walls and any available crack in the room. The sludge slowly begins to swallow everything in sight, including the user, and when they open their eyes they are now located on a humongous bed, sharing similar characteristics as the one that they saw before. They have shrunken completely and strewn across the now enlarged sheets are creatures of any and all sizes made from the same substance bouncing about cheerfully. In the middle of all the commotion would be MeeMee, slumbering away until awakened.
The Garden (3rd floor East) The garden is as its name would suggest, a large garden containing walls of greenery. It is much like a maze, and Shadow uses this to his advantage to plant his minions within the walls, then stick to the shadows behind the hero in order to observe how they fight. Most heroes reaching the end of his maze are confused as to where he is, but after unleashing an attack on them from behind, they are no longer confused. They are dead.
Hell's Gate (Floor 4, North) He guards the way towards the fifth floor and commands all demons on the fourth floor. They say that he guards the way to hell and that hell is represented on the fourth floor. Therefore all enemies on the fourth floor are basically demonic devils, hellhounds and long-dead skeletons, there are wandering souls across the fourth floor, some may help while others will possess newly slain beasts so they can revive (only when the body is still present). As said it will look like the borders of hell; grey and darkened, depressing and empty, it is merely a wasteland filled with lava streams. His face-off will be in a pentagram in front of a gaint, massive-steel, gate that leads to the fifth floor.
The Lab (Floor 4, East) On the eastern side of the fourth floor, there’s a domain known as the Lab. At first it doesn’t look like a lab at all, but rather a forest. The forest is like those seen in story books – one long dirt road surrounded by close knit trees and pretty shrubs and flowers. Or, rather, it appears as one long dirt path – in reality the path loops around to create just one long circle. In order to go further into the domain, one has to navigate correctly around the trees and plants until they reach a small clearing. Unfortunately this clearing does not contain adorable forest animals but rather an old abandoned building. Upon forcing the doors open one will find themselves upon a lab.
The lab is, as noted, completely abandoned. It is also run down, as many of the windows are broken, the lights flicker with live cables hanging everywhere, and most of the furniture that was once in the lab are half dissolved and most likely overturned. Another mystery to this lab is the large test tubes that seemed to have once held some sort of experiment. However, now there are only two types of creatures that roam the lab and the nearby area. The first are tiny little blobs that roll around and stick to the ceilings and walls to surprise the Heroes. They appear as if Ajax multiplied into tiny little soccer-ball sized creatures. These creatures have similar Passive Abilities as Ajax; however they only carry the dummied down version of his Sludge and Sulfuric offensive abilities. And should the Heroes continue to wander around this Lab, then they’ll eventually come across the Boss of this domain as well.
Artifacts (click to showhide)
Items which contain great power. As you know, the LockBramble Heart is one such artifact, but each boss also begins with one. Whoever so holds an artifact has it's powers. an Artifact can grant either a passive or and active. Although each boss has one, artifacts from previous bosses can also be found around the bastion. These 'Abandoned artifacts' can be used, or 'tapped'. 'tapping' an artifact is a hero only skill that summons the spirit of the boss of which the artifact used to reside. If a hero is powerful enough, they can harness this spirit and use the bosses skills and passives. However, there is a chance that if the hero cannot contain the spirit, the boss will reincarnate from the hero's body, bursting through flesh and... well it's very messy.
Passives/Actives (click to showhide)
These are the skills/spells that a Boss or Hero Possesses. a Passive does not need to be activated to be used, and is always in use. Heros start with one, and Bosses Three (not including the potential artifact passive.) Actives are usually more powerful, but need to be activated to be used. They're usually Spells or buffs. Heros start with three, Bosses with Five(Not including any artifact actives they may have.) As stated above, they are all approved by me, BUT otherwise they can be as varied as someone wants them to be.
Enemies (click to showhide)
Although these creatures reside in a bosses area, a boss can only do so much to control these beasts. Under normal videogame rules, killing an enemy will give you experience and gold. However, this is not so in The Bastion of Insanity. All you get for killing an 'enemy' is what they happened to have on them, their meat, and potentially pride/guilt. Bosses know the weaknesses and strengths of all creatures under their command, otherwise they would be only found through experimentation.

That Which Perceives The Universe (click to showhide)
Profile Name:Xires
Character Name: That Which Perceives The Universe
Age: Who Knows? perhaps Eons.
Gender: Non-Gender, though it will refer to itself as male.
Artifact:
The DarkeBramble Heart
A mass of writhing, thorny, thin, and vine like tentacles have formed themselves into the shape of a human heart. It is about 2 feet cubed in size. It beats slowly, sending out a wave of madness inducing aura with each pulse. The DarkeBramble Heart gives the passive INSANITY ECHO. This unique passive makes That Which Perceives The Universe emit a powerful aura that causes any being too close to him to slowly go insane, and in addition powers the Bastion of Insanity. That Which Perceives The Universe Keeps this artifact in a compartment in his chest.
The Perceiving Eye
An eye about 1 Meter cubed in size, appearing to be orange in coloration with a pupil not unlike a sheep's or goat's. It floats above his head, swiveling around to 'look' at anything of interest. Despite it's size, if one were to somehow hold it, they would find it extremely light. It gives the passive ALL SEEING. As it states, this passive allows That Which Perceives The Universe to see anything within the bastion, and even a little bit outside of it.
Appearance:That Which Perceives The Universe is truly a terrifying sight. He towers high, at an even 25 feet tall. He is dark in coloration over most of his body, ranging from deep purple to a dark obsidian black. He has two arms, a head, a chest piece, and root area. He speaks selectively through his mind. This can echo through the halls of the bastion. The voice is deep and gruff, and yet lighthearted as well. it sounds as though a man and woman are speaking in tandem.
His head appears to be a large skull floating over his torso. In coloration it is a light pearl in color. The skull appears to be almost like an elongated human, almost demonlike. where normal teeth would be for the human are inch long, dagger like teeth that move uniformly down. There is no bottom jaw to this system. Four Bull like horns emerge from the side of the skull, two larger ones in front of two smaller ones. In between these horns, The Perceiving Eye floats. in the leftmost socket of the skull, a small light flickers as though it was an eye.
His Torso area appears to be a brilliant obsidian black. Four spikes jut out from just out of the center of his chect, in the positions of northeast, southeast, southwest and northwest, forming a sort of 'square'. In the center of this, a small circular window like section can be seen. in the center of this piece is the DarkeBramble Heart, pumping away. He has two shoulder pad like plates that emerge out over his arms.
His arms emerge from his body looking almost like bones would. They then, at the elbow, turn into large, gauntlet like plating pieces which go up the remainder of his arms. His Right arm has four spikes near the end, where his knuckles would be. There is also a small set of spikes leading down it. His right arm ends in five, sharp looking claw like fingers with one thumb. His left hand has seven spike, starting with one near the bottom, two towards the middle, three about halfway before the end, and then one very large one again near the end. His left hand is technically a large, crablike claw, ending tapered to a point, with a small appendage for snapping situated just above the middle.
His torso ends abruptly where the waist would be, and turns into a plethora of vine like, spiked tentacles. They move downwards, into the ground and back up through the floor again, much like tree roots would. despite the fact that they root him to his spot, these tentacles write constantly. They can be used to attack as well, lashing out at any opponents.
Personality:That Which Perceives The Universe grows bored easily. That is precisely why he summoned the heroes here in the first place, simply so that he could watch a show. He will do anything to supplement his intense boredom. After all, he is rooted to the spot, and the everyday bickering of the creatures that reside in the bastion simply aren't enough. Even if it means others would grow mad at him, or even if it places himself in danger, he prefers excitement.
That Which Perceives The Universe also happens to be incredibly vain. He views himself as the most powerful being in the universe. He can see all that happens in the bastion, and thus he knows everything that is going on. This makes him virtually god like. Anyone that would dare double cross him would surely die, at least in his opinion.
He is also incredibly crafty. It knows just how to react to stimuli, and just where people will probably go. Unfortunately for him, he tends to focus on things which peak his interest, so he is not always focused on everything. This may make it so that he has to rethink about some things, or go back to a certain spot and reobserve it. He also happens to be easily amused, and will focus on subjects of slapstick comedy.
That Which Perceives The Universe is very cruel. It will attack anyone who dares to double cross him, and has been known to torture to amuse himself. The beings in the dungeon are very abused looking, but also very powerful because of his strange sort of 'conditioning'. Anything that has not died by now will surely be able to withstand attack.
Area:That Which Perceives The Universe owns The Entrance(Base Floor, North) and the Dungeon(Basement Floor, All) Due to the fact that the Dungeon is supposed to be a mysterious place, I cannot describe it here. The Entrance, however, can be described as a large, empty appearing main hall and conjoining hallways. Any creature in this place is weak and a bit stupid. those of foul temper will attack on sight, otherwise they will ignore the heros. A few suits of rusty appearing human shaped armor, dusty dresser tables, and empty flower pots are perhaps the only cover in this place, And small torches line the walls, flickering with purple flames. Elaborate windows featuring the Bosses of the Bastion are also a common sight in the Entrance.
Passives: SHADOW MATTER: the body of That Which Perceives The Universe is made up of an extremely torpid material. This causes anyone that comes into contact with him to be affected by bouts of delusion, hysteria, and paranoia. It also decreases the time of effects such as Freezing, Petrified, and Paralyzed.
MADDENED: To put it simply, That Which Perceives The Universe has lost his mind. He is immune to Mindbending effects, and any being that attempts to control him using their mind will slowly go insane. It makes him slightly susceptible to light magic, however.
SPIKED: The body of That Which Perceives The Universe is covered in all sorts of spiked. If he attacks physically, these is a chance the spikes could damage the opponent in addition to his regular attacks.
Actives: MANIPULATE: This incredible power allows That Which Perceives The Universe to greatly influence the choice of any being in the Bastion. It requires a great deal of energy, and thus can be used sparingly. (once every ten of my own posts.) In addition, this power cannot force a hero to do something, but only highly suggest it. Overcoming this power is harder the more trivial the idea. (I.E. it would be much easier to overcome stabbing yourself than choosing coffee over Tea).
DARK LIGHTENING: Blackened, purplish colored lightening charges from the spikes on his left arm, eventually shooting out of the large spike at the end. This can be devastating, charring a limb or even disintegrating an entire hero. it is Dark Magic based, and thus pierces through dark magic protection. This has a range of just within the Boss's room.
DEMON SPIRE: That Which Perceives The Universe summons an obsidian monolith from the ground. This monolith summons a creature native to the dungeon every few minutes until it is destroyed. He can summon this monolith anywhere within the dungeon, but only one may exist at a time.
THORN WRITHE: That Which Perceives The Universe lashes out at an opponent with the tentacles that make up his lower half. The thorns that are upon them contain venom, and thus poison anyone they should hit. This has a range of just within the Boss's room.
CAST ELEMENTAL MAGICK: As it states, That Which Perceives The Universe uses his right hand to summon an elemental based ball of energy. The actual alignment of this orb is completely random, it is just as likely to be earth as it is air, fire, or water. it has a range of just within the Boss's room.
Bwip Derrigible (click to showhide)
Profile Name: Xires
Character Name: Bwip Derrigible
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Species:Yortle(think really short person. like really short.)
Appearance:Bwip is... small. He stands at most a meter tall. He's also a bit chubby, as it is. His face can be described as childish: upturned nose, baby blue eyes, messy brown hair and a light sprinkling of freckles to boot. his skin is fair in coloration, and his teeth are uniform and standard. Aside from his brilliant eyes, the most noticable part of his face would be his bushy eyebrows. However, his face is rarely seen.
Most of the time, Bwip is wearing a large cloak with a hood. The hood is always over his head, veiling his face in shadow so that only his brilliant blue eyes stand out, like a beacon in the dark. The cloak is a light green, going on teal in coloration: this denotes his class as a healer, most of the time. He wears a pair of yellow colored slippers, as well. When the cloak is removed, he's usually wearing a standard looking shirt and cloth pants, familiar of the medieval ages era. They are both tan in color, the cloth pants being a few shades darker than his shirt. he also wears a pair of black gloves, for some reason.
Bwip carries around a crystal scepter, which in all honesty looks a little bit like an elongated rattle. It is white in color, with a green band around the middle. if one were to look closely, they would note the color more closely resembles marble. However, the scepter is actually made out of quartz, with jade situated around the center, forming the band around the middle. He really doesn't have any other weapons.
Personality: Bwip actually dislikes fighting of all kind, and will only fight if forced to. In fact, if he feels something is wrong, he will actually heal the opponent. He doesn't like to choose sides, he thinks that jumping to conclusions about someone's alignment is wrong, and everyone should be traded with equal respect. This goes for every being, regardless of their species.
Romantically speaking, Bwip is... awkward. EXTREMELY awkward. Thankfully for most, his tastes in ladies aren't exactly the everyday. He prefers girls with a bit of meat on their bones, much to the relief of the traditionally attractive. When he does find someone he likes, he will never make the first move, and will usually fumble over words when speaking to them, and laugh at nothing in an attempt to break the ice.
Bwip is, under normal circumstances, quiet and reserved. however, if something peaks his interest, he will become enraptured with it for potentailly hours, and later on, he will be able to recall almost every feature of that object. When speaking about something he's interested in, he will go into excruciating detail, so much detail that friends have sometimes called him the Lecturer. Unless he is talked to first, however, this will not happen.
Bwip is good friends with most to all animals. By animals, this is usually defined as creatures that have not achieved sentience. He treats them with respect and care, though a few scars on his arms have shown that they don't always treat him the exact same way...
Passives:ADAPTABLE: Bwip can easily learn the ins and outs of most objects given to him. objects that would otherwise take years to master only take him a few minutes to learn. However, because of this ability he is more susceptible to being affected by mindbending abilities, and also more likely to be convinced to turn to the other side.
Actives:HEAL WOUNDS: As the name implies, heal wounds heals any physical harm the target may have come in contact with. it has limits that it cannot heal status effects, such as burns, petrification, freezing, paralysis, sleeping, stuns, or silences.
COMMUNE: This ability allows Bwip to speak with beings that are not sentient. By touching his scepter to their forehead, eye, or generally the closest area to their brain, he establishes a telepathic link with said creature. the closer his scepter is to their brain, the more clear the link.
MIND SPIKE: This active has a few different uses. Mind Spike can inflict a small amount of damage on an opponent from a ways away, stun an opponent, or even do both at once. All damage is psychological, making creatures immune to mindbending immune to this active.

Profile Name: Shadebluhart
Character Name: Kai/Blue Heart
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Species: Pokemon, Typhlosion
Appearance: Blue flames instead of red, blue eyes, blue fireproof scarf, earrings, sunshades.
Personality: Kai will go around burning everything if even one person hurts his friends. He is very protective of his items and friends and will make sure they live on until the end of time. Goes down fighting a lot of the time, likes to be with friends all the time. Usually shy, but will make random funny outbursts or comments from time to time. Likes to think outside of the box. Does not like being laughed at, but will laugh at others.
Passives: ColdFire - A massive amount of cold blue fire that can freeze something in seconds. It takes longer to freeze larger things or other people. Cannot be used to kill things, only freeze.
Actives: FireStorm - A massive amount of scolding blue fire that can only be used when Kai is upset or angry. The angier or more upset Kai is, the larger the fire is. Other fire types can walk through the fire, but will have a bruise on their feet after a while of standing in it. Can be put out when Kai puts ColdFire on it. Usually burns out everything after an hour or 2. Takes more energy to light bigger things on fire.
I've read the rules, but im a noobie. So I don't know how to put a Solrock or Jirachi in this, sorry. But does it still mean I can join?
Posted by: Xires Feb 8 2013, 02:57 PM
Sorry, Kid, but there's a few things you need to be aware of some things.
Firstly: Passives cannot be activated. Your 'Cold Fire' Ability is an Active, not a passive. Passives cannot be controlled, but Actives can. (This technically makes FireStorm a Passive, BTW.)
Secondly, When I said details, I meant DETAILS. I suppose you didn't have a sense of perspective because I didn't have mine up, but this is going to be home to some very VERY long posts. I'm not saying I think you can't keep up, I'm just saying think about it. You might not want such an advanced level RP for your first time here, unless you've been on similar forums.
Also, to put in sprites such as Solrock, It's : solrock :, except without the spaces. It looks a bit like this: .
And You might wanna read through the rules again, just in case.

I'm going to be editing this slowly... And steadily... Like the movement of
Profile Name:The Shadow last time I checked...
Character Name:Shadow
Age:Most describe his form around thirteen when they see him, but he is actually 18.
Gender:Male
Artifact:The cloak of madness. This cloak is very thin, almost invisable when you look at it on its side. It is purely black and when worn throws the user into a berserker rage, unless you can control it.
If you learn to control the Cloak of Madness, which only Shadow and That Which Perceives The Universe, learning from them is a challenge though. They are very unwilling to give up such information. The cloak once controlled will give the user the power which Shadow controls, becoming nothing more than a shadow on the ground. This can be user for various things, but Shadow uses it to surprise his enemies and in combat. It is very hard to hit a shadow unless you know how.
Appearance: While most of the time he wears the Cloak of Madness, the times when he loses, or is just not wearing it, he is a very... Green... young man.
He stands about 6'3", wearing a dark colored tunic. Some have referred it to mage garments, but he thinks nothing of them, he knows they are not such. He can move freely in them despite them streching to his ankles, and with the Cloak of Madness, he moves even quicker. He wears simple Renaissance boots which are black to match his tunic, and they strech about to wear his tunic stops.
Shadow is... Very green... He has green skin which can be occasionally seen with small leaves or flowers sticking out. Vines somtimes can be seen upon him and he quite likes the soft feel of them. His eyes sparkles a deep red, but he doesn't quite know why. His ears are pointed, much like an elf, but he is unsure of his heritage.
His build is quite muscular, even though no one ever sees him do more than hide and run. He is a master of swordplay as well, though he never uses his skill against anyone.
Personality: Shadow suffers from deep emotional trauma, but he never reveals what it quite is. He keeps most everything to himself, and barely talks. Most of the time when he is defeated, you can barely hear him utter one word. This is also what drives him to not be defeated at all, the word can be tracked to the center of his emotional trauma. Meaning that anyone can get inside.
Area: The Garden, 3rd floor East. The garden is as its name would suggest, a large garden containing walls of greenery.
Passives:
Herbs of Eve. Some of the plants in the garden travel their energy to him, which makes it easier to train that to his other abilities.
Flower's call: Occasionally, the flowers of the bushes of the Maze walls will fall off, which gives the floor an appearance of a lovely valley. Shadow does not see it as such, rather as an oppurtunity to snare his opponents and slow them due to the flowers.
Herbs delight: The smell of the herbs of the garden give Shadow confidence, and he moves quicker and attacks faster because of it.
Actives:
Vines: Shadow manipulates the vines of the garden to hold his opponent, but this generally takes a few seconds for the vines to 'wake up' and catch the hero's limbs.
Rose Thorns: Some of the flowers on the floor are roses, and Shadow hides them well. If a hero should step on one of these roses, they will grow to an enormous height, and the thorns of the rose will shoot themselves at the hero.
Pitfall: The ground of flowers is actually very well wound together, for there is no floor under it. Shadow may open this floor to make the hero fall into a pit of monsters which they had encountered in the maze before reaching him. Should they survive the trap he throws a vine to them; he likes to play fair.
Blackrose: Shadow can take the roses off of the bushes, and weave them together quickly into a massive dragon form. After casting a spell it comes to life, and there are many thorns on the Blackrose to hurt the hero. This is generally how he defeats heros while they get to the end of the maze, but if they detect him quickly he uses it with his Vines.
Golum: Shadow also may manipulate the bushes in the garden to form golums, which attack the hero. While they are not powerful, they swarm the hero, making for not only a bother, but some damage as well.

I adore such detailed and in-depth plotlines X3
This sounds very....intriguing to say the least.
Although, I'm having a hard time imagining the setting, so it is going to be a bit difficult trying create a Boss or a Hero :/
Hopefully you'll be posting a profile soon?
Posted by: Xires Feb 8 2013, 03:55 PM
@ShinyNoob:Yes, and as a matter of fact, I just did. For the Hero, you really don't have to think of any setting, because you were summoned from your homeworld forcefully. and if you're a boss, you literally get to create your own setting. don't think to hard.
@Shadow: Reserved, my friend. but don't take to long. Also, Keep in mind many beings here are hundreds of years old, and are considered 'monsterous' by our standards. Not ugly, just... monsterous.

Alright, welp just give me a few moments, and I'll see what I can cook up.
(Let's hope my imagination is in the mood for this)

Sorry, Kid, but there's a few things you need to be aware of some things.

Also, to put in sprites such as Solrock, It's : solrock :, except without the spaces. It looks a bit like this:

And You might wanna read through the rules again, just in case.
And on a side note, you can have up to 3 Actives.

Longest profile I EVER made LOL.
Spoiler (click to showhide)
Profile Name: ShinyNoob
Character Name: MeeMee Clementine
Age: She takes on the appearance of an eight year old, but her true age is to be determined
Gender:Anything that she desires, or what superiors desire her to be.
Artifact: The Eyes of Mimcry- An artifact that is actually split into two different parts. Embedded in the palms of her hands are two carefully constructed eyes, that are covered in a thick plated sheet of silver. Behind those metallic eyelids are two very much alive eyeballs. Inside the both of the pupils is nothing but a glazey, cream-colored film that completely hinders any sort of sight. However, when the user is involved in a conflict the thick film is lifted from the pupils and allows the eyelids to become wide-eyed and alert, searching the target until successful. If the target is not found, the eyes slowly close back up and become covered in the thick film once more and the silver plate that surrounds the actual eyeball closes. There are little tiny contraptions within the actual build of the silver lining that slithers out and pierces through the users flesh, attaching to the nerves to become one with the user's nervous system. If removed, the wounds take up to ten, to twenty years to heal. However, the damage may be permanent.
Sight of the Wise: A Passive ability that allows MeeMee to access and lock away the memories of those that she shapeshifts. Because of her transformations being so sudden and forced while she is in battle, the Sight of the Wise allows her to shapeshift into any previous opponent that she has encountered. However, there is a flaw within this ability. The only ones that are immune to this ability is her Superior and other Bosses.
Appearance:It is hard to pinpoint MeeMee's actual existence. Because she is known as "those who hold no true shell" her appearances are sporadic and unpredictable.
True Form: In her absolute basic state she is nothing more individual particles, roaming in order to latch onto something. Once latched on a substance of matter or any form of organism she becomes parasitic, feeding off of her host until she becomes one with her flesh. Once, she become one with the flesh the particles within her "body" are unstable, causing the being to a mobile blob of highly dangerous slime. In this state, she stabilizes herself by taking the form of a young girl, about the age of six. Her "hair" are strings of dripping fluids that snakes all the way down to the floor, dripping and oozing towards anything that could keep her body stable. Her small and feeble state makes her very noticeable towards other creatures, allow the neon magenta colored fluid to devour those that come to close her and mistaken her for something sickly, and insignificant. Her "limbs" such as her arms and legs are small and only allow to roam the halls and dungeons. Her "legs" can either be a mass of slime that search for food, or take on the form of actual human-like legs that allow the bottoms of feet to stick to the floor and travel, almost on any surface. Her "eyes" are actually the particles that grant her the ability to see, shaped and rounded of that of child's eyes being quite big and holding the typical innocent facade. Her form is slightly plump, as if she held actual baby fat, making her cheeks, nose, and ears slightly pudgy. However, she has no mouth to speak comprehensible sentences, so she relies on sign language to "speak" what she is thinking.
"Adult" Form: Once the slime has devoured enough pour souls to stabilize the unknown particles MeeMee then goes into the swift transformation of become an "adult". The slime that has once been her shell completely soldifies, and softens become actual flesh for her to reside in. She grows fairly quickly until she reaches about four seven in height. Her body becomes slim, almost petite, but still carries the bit of baby fat around the stomach, making it jut out only slightly now. Her pudgy hands now becomes slim appendages, allowing her finger to elongate and retain actual nails. The slime that is once on her hair hardens, breaks off, and becomes actual strands of chestnut, burgundy tinges locks that frame her now narrow cheek bones and reaches to about her shoulders.. The healthy locks falls over her forehead, completely covering it from view. Her legs becomes longer, more slender allowing more mobility for her to walk, run, and sprint wherever she desires. Her mouth retains two pairs of brightly fresh and pink lips, allowing comprehensive and understandable speech in order to communicate with those around her. Her upper body widens slightly allowing the movement of her shoulders and the growth of her arms, granting her ability to rest her hands on her sides or anywhere else on her body. They retain reasonably normal length for a child her age. Her eyes retain their largeness, but now the pink magenta-colored pupils are now visible, and allow other organism the ability to read her expressions. Her flesh is now peachy, but strangely have faint red blotches strewn throughout her body looking as if she been bruised or touched. Finally coat, her most private of areas is actually the same thick slime that was once her body. It wraps around her chest and waist, however not as messily as before. It's transparent enough where others could see actual twitching and tiny bubbles moving throughout the fluid.
Personality:At first glance MeeMee is very mild and innocent. However, because of her always trying to contain her adult form she tends to be very gluttonous. She only gets up whenever she is hungry, and by then the sweet and innocent eight year old that was sleeping only a minute ago turns into a terrible, murderous hunter. By then, she linger among the passageways, growling and hissing fiercely. Her hunger drives her forward until satisfied, which by then she lingers back to her area to fall asleep once again, or exercising with her fellow slime mutations to keep her mobile and the particles within her body active. At this time and point, she is very vocal, giddy on what she does to keep her active. Her imagination is boundless, finding amusement in the simplest of things just like any other child would. She even has a charming streak to the others bosses, if it meant exercise for her and her playmate. However, when she transform into whoever or whatever, she is bound to the emotions and personality traits of that being.
Area: Shift- Her own personal realm that is located on the farthest east wing of the castle.
Passives: Copycat- MeeMee has the natural ability to transform into anything or anyone. At the start of the confrontation she may swift morph into her opponent among their very eyes. Or, if she wants to keep their form for later, she raises up her hands, allowing the Eyes to awaken and search after the being. From there their eyes flash a bright magenta, confirming the "scan" and allowing her to transform once again. This can cover, at least, an 300 foot radius. However, she cannot copy other bosses or her Superior.
Lovely Fumes- The fumes that the slime gives off will, occasionally, lull the opponent into a paralyzing and numb-filled sleep if they approach to close to MeeMee, allowing her the change to either order her slimes to devour the victim whole or to cease her own clawing hunger. The slime that coats the creatures, may have a 20% change of lulling the opponent into this same state if they do not contain an Awaken Remedy.
Actives:Tantrum- When MeeMee first wake up she is not pleased from the interruption or intrusion. She let's out a maddening sob, making all the once glee-filled and happy creatures turning to grueling and grotesque beasts. The smaller ones will rush at the opponent, latching on to the open and began to gnaw on their flesh until they are nothing but a pile of bones. However, if the slimes do not reach their opponent quickly enough MeeMee will then lash out her legs, making thundering shockwaves shake the bed-shaped arena until the opponent falls into the emptiness of realm's void.
Mutation- If struck a few times, MeeMee will then release a screech of relentless agony making a few of the slimes burp loudly, and then vomit as they began to mutate into colossal towers of slime. Bits and pieces of bone and flesh can be seen in these beings as the magenta-colored slime looks as if it is boiling in a pot. Their speed drops incredibly, but their strength enhances, allowing them to crawl on four make-shift hands in order to wring their opponent, or devour them whole.
Gluttony- If the opponent, is too close to MeeMee and unable to fight any longer she will slowly began to approach you. From there she giggles quietly, looking the opponent down menacingly with her own large magenta-colored pupils. Grabbing her chin with one hand, she begins to stroke the victim's cheeks, giving them a false sense of comfort before allowing the slime that is wrapped around her body to take a hold of the victim and slowly began to pick and gnaw away at the flesh and innards. At this point MeeMee has then pushed the corpse against the arena, bent over, to finish devouring the rest of the corpse completely.
Ditto- When no other slimes are around to assist her MeeMee strokes the slime that is wrapped around her body and feels it shiver. It then peels itself off of her flesh and collapses to the ground, groaning in anguish as it starts to build shape and form. The slime will either take the form of the opponent as well, or turn crimson red and morph into an eight-legged, thousand-eyed spider, leaping at the opponent with unimaginable accuracy and speed.

Alright, ShinyNoob, looks good the the exception of one thing. Although the area Shift appears to be good, you haven't dictated WHERE exactly it is in the castle. Left side, yes, but what floor? A simple east side, --- floor will suffice for this.
Other than this, accepted. Please fix this minor flaw soon.

Alright, thanks
I think I did pretty good job for my first attempt XD

Alright, That'll Do.
ALSO: you can have ONE (1) Hero AND ONE (1) Boss. You don't have to be selective.

Okay, thank you for informing me.

Here we go
Profile Name: Mister Blah
Character Name: Jay
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Species: Anthropomorphic Hyena
Appearance: A very lithe young woman, Jay take on the appearance of an anthropomorphic hyena. However, she does wear an undone straight jacket and sports a German WWII-era gas mask on her face, blockading any hints of emotion. http://fc09.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2012/316/7/6/765e05715aff9375b63cc103f463be51-d5ks1wx.png
Personality: As silent as can be, Jay keeps almost every thought to herself. She doesn't quite like contact with others, nor does she enjoy becoming attached to anyone. Most people she's become attached to end up lost or hurt due to her infamy as a mercenary. It's difficult to tell what's on her mind, regardless of Jay's being equipped with her gas mask or not. Judging by the statements she makes, Jay would appear to be very down-to-Earth and logical. Jay isn't one for humour, taking on more grave overtones rather than any sort of comedic traits.
Throughout her mercenary work, Jay has found herself enamoured by firearms. Her favourite is a .44 Magnum she keeps at her side, tucked in the belt of her straight jacket at all times. Through all of the hardships she's ever had to deal with, her gun has always been there. Jay's more emotionally attached to it than she is any living thing. She's even given it a name, referring to her gun as "Sweetie" most of the time. This name is reminiscent of someone she once knew, but that story is something she has shared to no one, and when it is brought up it appears to be the only thing that ever bothers her.
History: All one needs to know here is that Jay has done a great deal of bad and good in her work as a mercenary. She doesn't recall much of her childhood, and is only looking to get the best pay she can to get by. She isn't always proud of what she does, but she does hope that whatever adventure awaits her in this castle isn't another regretted one.
Passives: Gas Mask: The gas mask atop her head prevents breathing in any gaseous materials that may effect her. A fairly simple passive.
Actives: Big Iron: Jay locks and loads her .44 Magnum, ready to fire at will. Her aim with it has become masterful after years upon years of using it and upkeeping it. She treats it as if it were her child, and with it, she's quite deadly.
Uber Claw: Claws laced with the poison her tribe has an affinity for, the lady hyena unsheathes her nature-made weapons for an attack against her aggressor. Her lithe body type allows for agility, and this hyena's agile on her footpaws.

.... No jirachi. He's banned from my posts. Always. ....
Profile Name: TheSketchQueen
Character Name: Merenwen "Mara" Nenharma
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Species: Elf (kind of Legend of Zelda -ish, Erigon -ish, that sort of thing.)
Appearance: Mara is tall and willowy. However, she's tough and can take a hit. She has an olive skin color, complemented by long chocolate hair that's twisted up in a braid, emerald green eyes, and pale pink thin lips. Scattered around the bridge of her nose are many freckles. She also has very pointy ears. She wears an evergreen vest over a white tank top and light green shorts that come just past her knees. She doesn't wear any shoes. She's only an A-cup, but she's proud of it. Her hands are cracked and tend to bleed a lot.
Personality: Mara tends to be very hot-headed. Press the right buttons and you will set a bomb off. She hates waiting and being patient, and likes to charge head-on as soon as possible. She loves to hunt and is very good at it, using twin swords. She's also talented in ice magic. Mara was trained as an assassin, but likes to think she has a sense of honor and won't kill anyone unless she has a good reason to. She's also good at lying, and loves being annoying and mischievous.
History: Mara's history is shrouded in mystery, but what people do know of her is that when her parents were killed when she was 15, she turned to the dark side and trained as an assassin, using magic to kill anyone she was asked to. She became a thief and learned the tricks of a con by heart. At 18, she attempted to return to the light, but still held darkness in her heart. But, in an attempt to still be a good person, she decided to never kill any innocent ones.
Passives: Ice-Head: If Mara is set off, she is surrounded by an icy aura from a five foot radius. The icy aura freezes anyone who comes in contact.
Actives: Frost Blade: Mara surrounds the blades of her twin swords in dry ice. She can then cut through most living things with ease, freezing the outer layer of what was cut.
Icethrower: Shoots sharp icicles from the palms of her hands. The icicles work like daggers, stabbing her victims, but staying in the would, not slicing through.
Frostbreath: A basic ice attack, she breaths an icy mist, capable of -5 F temperatures. She can only do this as long as she can breathe out.

All right, let's get back into the game!
Hope I'm not rusty or anything...
Profile Name: Gorgon, she who loves to give herself titles
Character Name: Kyle West, or, as he's taken to calling himself, Yamaha
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Species: Meta-Human (Basically Superhuman, but not of his own will)
Appearance: Yamaha is five feet and seven inches high, with a limber frame that does a good job of making his muscles look sparse. His skin is a pale form of Caucasian and his hair color may or may not affect that. Though he is a ginger, he has no freckles or anything of the sort (This should be one of his powers, but no...). His facial features are rather pointed and narrowed, but not to the point where he looks unfriendly. His eyes are a bright blue, and, oddly enough, his eyelashes are dark, not light.
Yamaha's hair, as above mentioned, is a soft, polite shade of ginger. On the right side of his head, his hair juts upward in an unruly and outlandish cowlick. Other than that, it's completely normal and nondescript guy hair.
Yamaha wears http://www.yamaha-motor.com/assets/accessories/500/smb-13jln-bk-xx-500.jpg jacket partnered with gray cargo pants and black-and-gray running shoes.
Other than that, the only thing Yamaha wears is a pair of http://images5.fanpop.com/image/photos/30500000/Cool-Headphone-Pictures-music-30593554-500-454.png which are slung around his neck. The black cord that supplies the music trails into his right pocket and is connected to a silver iPod touch, the songs of which (nearly innumerous) are perpetually on Shuffle.
Personality: Yamaha was-and is- a quite happy and upbeat person. He is inherently optimistic and good-natured; since he is kind to most everyone, he has very few enemies and is difficult to dislike. He judges people based on how they treat others, and as long as you're respectful of those around you Kyle will like you just fine.
Despite his cheerful disposition, Kyle isn't one to wantonly enter conversation- he's more of a background prop than an actual player in the scene. He's merely there to be said of. For example: Oh, we saw him and Kyle outside. By the way, Kyle said hi. I know Kyle's around here somewhere. Kyle was there, too.
He also doesn't much like being the topic of conversation, and would much rather talk about the weather, the game, or perhaps undergo a painful surgery without anesthesia than talk about himself. This is mostly because Kyle cannot speak unless he is singing a song. More on that in his Bio, but it's a condition he loathes to have, but at the same time he's also accepted it as master.
But I digress for now.
There aren't many things that set him off- chiefly among them being people who don't know they can't sing, people who play or sing horribly off-key, and Skrillex, along with other dubsteppers. In his humble opinion, if that song were meant to sound like that, it would've been written that way. Other things that anger him are those who abuse others for no real reason (though there is no reason to treat others poorly), those who are intolerant of others' ethnicities, and the Dutch.
History: Kyle was raised in a loving home full of music, with an older brother and sister, and a younger sister. He also had a cat and a dog, but they're of no consequence. His parents taught him that words can solve any problem between people, but inaction is harmful. They also told him that music is a universal language, which can build or re-build any bridge between anyone, and that expression through musicality is essential to a nation's prosperity; if singing and dancing were to be outlawed, there would be no peace in that country
Kyle had a voice to rival the greatest; his range was all of them, and it was not within the confines of reality for him to be out of tune. After listening to a song once or twice, he could replicate the vocals to every pitch. He was the pride of his community, and one night after a long choir concert, a good and powerful witch approached him, saying she had been touched by his singing. She gave him the gift to manipulate sound waves.
On his way home, he encountered an old woman who had traveled a great distance to hear him sing, but had not been able to attend the concert. Upon being asked to sing for her, Kyle told her that he was very sorry, but he couldn't because he was very tired from practicing for the concert and from the performance itself. The old woman, it turns out, was an entirely different witch. She was evil, and she cursed Kyle. Now, he could not speak unless he was singing. And since poor Kyle had only the gift of singing and not songwriting (which he found to be rather frustrating and could never manage) he had to sing songs already produced by others.
Since then, he has traveled, looking for something- anything- powerful enough to lift the curse set upon him by the witch. It appears he may have found it at last.
Passives: AUDIOKINESIS: Nothing major; Yamaha can emit sounds made by several different instruments, anything from a simple rimshot to some Rock Star's signature guitar riff. This ability is hardly offensive, but is useful as a distraction when necessary.
Actives: SOUND SWORD: IT'S SOUND SWORD!!! Really couldn't think of a different (or more creative) name. This active allows Yamaha to summon a blade of razor-sharp sound. It appears as a semi-transparent sword, almost ghost-like, that makes quite a nice swishy sound when sung.
FEEDBACK: This active allows Yamaha to emit a shockwave in a pulse around him with the added sound of a sonic boom. This causes mental stress (to some degree) and is effective for forcing foes (or people in his bubble) away from him.
SURROUND SOUND: Used to create a force field of -surprise- soundwaves. Don't question the physics, smart guy, just be glad so-and-so's sword/claws/gun isn't slicing/shooting you at the moment. This is physically taxing on Yamaha, however, and he cannot do much else while upholding the field.
Just wanted to get the basics up.

@Shadow:...well, alright, but...well... I wouldn't personally imagine a boss being so...normal. I'll let you in, but, could you make him a bit more unusual, to fit the theme?

Gosh it's been so long since I've written a profile.
All I have is a "Hero", although I'll possibly make a Boss profile once I can get down a basic idea fff
Spoiler (click to showhide)
Profile Name: Shadow Dragon
Character Name: Jack
Age: Unknown, possibly somewhere between the three hundred and four hundred mark
Gender: Male
Species: Will-o-wisp
Appearance:
Having lost his human shell a long time ago, Jack has taken up using a scarecrow as a physical shell. It measures as standing at 5’6” without the hat and is made of the “typical” materials, that being burlap, rope, and hay. There is no head to the scarecrow, however, so a pumpkin is in place of the head. The pumpkin always retains a healthy appearance no matter how long it’s been used for a head and has been previously hollowed out and carved to have a http://www.naturepods.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/Jack-o-Lantern1.jpg. Inside of the pumpkin is what appears to be a ball of light that is of a yellow colour. This light is Jack. At least, it’s his soul.
The scarecrow body isn’t dressed in the best of clothes, although none too shabby. It wears a pair of jean overalls that are in need of a good washing and a green military jacket with old brown gardening gloves. Footwear is an equally old pair of brown boots with small heels and worn out soles. Around the waist is a small bag which contains extra pieces of burlap, rope, and several needles and thread should minor repairs would be needed for the body or clothing. To top off a look is a wide-brimmed pointed hat, similar to a witch’s hat.
Sans the waist pouch, Jack carries only his weapon around with him. This weapon is a scythe, one used in farming. Sadly for Jack it isn’t his original farming scythe, but this one isn’t all that shabby. The scythe has a long metal handle with two separate grips and an 80-centimeter long blade. At the bottom of the handle, there is a long chain connecting the scythe to an antique http://images.oneofakindantiques.com/3856_antique_english_lamp_post_lantern_1.jpg that has recently been repainted to be a dark blue shade. Inside of the lantern is a piece of burning coal. The coal can never and will never go out, as it was born of the flames of hell themselves.
Personality:
Having been around for over three hundred years, Jack is hardly impressed by anything or anything. He’s become an isolated, bitter being whose only wish is to finally die and have his soul rest in peace. Jack is no longer tempted by material things such as money nor is he interested in contact with other living beings. His preference is to live a solitary life and will shun away anyone that tries to come near. From his preference, he hates loud and peppy people and he absolutely hates loud sounds or music. Although music in this day and age is just a bunch of mismatched sounds to him.
At a point, Jack gave up trying to keep up with the new times of the world. Due to that he’s old fashioned and becomes rather confused when faced with simple technology. He’ll often refuse to learn new things and will only do so when it’s absolutely necessary. Though, be warned, no matter who agrees to help Jack he’ll most likely end up being rude and insult his helper.
History:
Jack cannot remember much of his human life besides the fact that he had no family of his own, was once the farmer and he had, on one occasion, tricked the Devil. He cannot remember the exact processes besides having trapped the Devil with a silver cross, but he can remember the deal they made. Should Jack let the Devil go, the Devil could not claim his soul.
Once Jack had finally died, his soul could not pass onto Heaven. However, due to his deal, his soul could not go into Hell either. All Jack got for his troubles was a piece of coal and was told to turn back and be forced to wander the Earth until he was able to find a way to have his soul put to rest. Through his process he’s come across a wide range of bodies – he prefers non-living ones or animals, being that humans can cause a fuss – and had decided that the best choice was to simply live a solitary farming life like he used to have.
Passives:
Ignis Fatuus – Being that Jack is a ghost of the will-o-wisp kind, he takes the form of a small light. He is able to possess objects and bring them to life as a form of physical transport, much like the scarecrow body he has. It’s incredibly easy to possess an inanimate object, an animal may prove difficult, and humans and other human-like creatures are the most difficult to possess as their free will is difficult to contain. However within the Bastion of Insanity he can possess everything but bosses or That Which Perceives The Universe.
Actives:
Detector – By using a form of sense, Jack is able to detect treasure and objects that are buried deep in the ground, water, or hidden in something else. Unless he’s able to focus on a specific object, he cannot tell what is buried where.
Fool’s Flame – Jack is able to summon blue flames that will suspend themselves in air and float around. These flames are not actually burning, as it is merely an illusion. These flames cannot burn anything or light anything on fire. The blue flames are used as a form of distractions and are used to mark locations.
Hell Fire – By utilizing the piece of burning coal, Jack can utilize the flames in a form of attack. Typically these attacks are in the form of setting fire around the blade of his scythe, although he is able to use the fire to spark and set objects alight. However Jack can only do this with the piece of coal and not any other fire. This fire can burn just about anything, however when it comes in contact with precious metals it’ll only clean the metals.

@Shadow Dragon: Accepted, although you'll have to ask someone if you want to possess their hero.
Posted by: The Shadow Feb 9 2013, 03:48 PM
Xires... What do you mean by... 'Unusual'... Do you want me to make him have a wierder personality, powers? I don't know...
Posted by: Xires Feb 9 2013, 03:56 PM
@Shadow: Your 'Boss' is just a regular guy with the ability to control plants, as compared to a slime creature that eats (literally) opponents and a Powerful demon that also functions as a castle-wide power source. I meant make him LOOK more unusual. Heck, make him green and have little flowers in his hair, I don't care. As long as his TRUE FORM can't be mistaken for a hero, It'll be fine. It should be obvious to the Heroes which ones are enemies/bosses, and which ones are 'comrades'.

Bio turned out a bit different than I'd expected, but oh we'll. if there's anything that needs edited, please tell.

Profile Name: Aura Dynasty
Character Name: Alba Hasu
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Species: Human
Appearance: http://pile.randimg.net/0/48/12080/Super_Alba.pnga white skin, oval face and grey eyes. Alba looks tall due to he slim body but has an average height of 5"56'. She has shoulderlong pink hair which is cut shorter at the back, almost like an over-grown bob-cut. She wears kaki-green, often restored, baggy pants, a pair of black sneakers, a white tanktop and a red zip-up hoodie she usually wears closed with rolled-up sleeves. Furthermore she wears black, knuckle-gloves,a pair of headphones and a bag draped around her shoulders. Inside the dimmed-red bag are a first-aid kit, http://world.guns.ru/userfiles/images/handguns/canada/1287742423.jpgand some other essential stuff that could be useful.
Personality: Alba is a loner, highly persistent and stubborn. She's not used to take other's feelings into account but has a kind heart, shown when protecting her new-found friends. She has a hot fightingspirit and is eager to continue to the end of the tower, her reason however is unknow, although it is her prime motivator.
When people ask about her past she usually gets irritated and it may occur that the asking person will gte face-punched or worse, concluding she is quick-tempered. Although she will realize her mistakes and appoligize when needed to, she is honest and has a strong sense of justice. Alba's best quality is her rationality and understanding way of thinking, when given the right motivation she'll gladly re-draw her own thoughts.
History: Will become clear throughout the Rp
Passives: -
Tempest Life; gives the character a boasted Stamina, endurance and up’s the agility. Strenght is upped a little.
Actives: -
Re-equip; she can change her equipped weapon with weapons she’s stored in an altered dimension. Only she can open the portal to her own altered dimension. It’s not a last resort, she cannot reside there, only her weapons. Thus when re-equipping her weapon de-materializes and gets switched with another weapon of her choice.
-
Steel Skin; an ability that can be activated every half an hour. It makes her skin solid hard for the first incoming attack, without doing any damage no matter how strong. As soon as she is hit the ability wears off, meaning if a pebble touches her before the attack the attack will deal the regular damage, as the pebble touched her first.

My boss/finished (click to showhide)
Profile Name: Aura Dynasty
Character Name: Dumah (1 of the 7 princes of hell, commander of the demons of gehenna)
Age: Unknown
Gender: Male
Artifact: Binding Chains of Tartarus; It are cosmic chains that are tied to his arms and cannot be broken. On each end a hellhound is attached, the chains actually serve as leashes for Erebos and Cerbex, two Prime hellhounds that obey his every order and stay by his side. He has no troubles when moving around, it is almost as if the chains aren’t there. When being defeaten the character will obtain a chain, this artifact is necessary for conjuring his spirit. Note that he is very hard to master though.
Appearance: http://pile.randimg.net/0/48/12078/Heya.pngHe’s rather tall, 6”2’ and slightly muscular. His face is youthful yet his skin is pale, as if he’d be sick till the bone. His eyes give of an eerie emitting light and are slightly hidden underneath his unruly white, shoulder long hair. He wears a katana with black blade in his right hand, his left hand mostly draws forth the chains.
He wears a pair of black denim trousers, a pair of manly shoes a-la Sorcerer’s apprentice. His lower torso consists of a light armour, that seems sturdy enough to take a couple of hits without feeling anything, protecting his sides too. It is buckled up wit a black leather belt diagonally worn across his waist. Above a long, torn black coat with high neck is worn, the backside of the coat torn into three parts draped alongside his waist-sides and back. It gives him an elegant look.
After using the “Judge of Hell”-rite he undergoes a physical and mental change. Dumah grows taller and muscular, his hair grows longer and his eyes become almost ghost-like. His coat changes into a plated harness, gauntlets and Plated boots. A red capuchon appears on his head, hiding his face and the katana becomes a giant broadsword which Dumah is able to carry with one hand. ((http://pile.randimg.net/0/48/12079/Owo.png))
Personality:Dumah has a weird way of being. He is cruel and cold, yet warm and understanding to those who earned his respect, this may be those who seek to encounter him too. He is likely to be calm, merciful and uncaring, yet gets hot-headed and unmerciful, slaying everyone in his path when the “Judge of Hell” is triggered. In a nutshell, Dumah’s impossible to read, he can act totally unexpected or surprisingly suspected in any kind of situation.
Area: Floor 4, North, also know as Hell's Gate. Dumah guards Hell's Gate, is the last on to stand in the way towards the fifth floor and commands all demons on the northern fourth floor.
Passives:-
Demonic Appraisal; This ability was given to him as Guardian of Hell, due to this ability no monster will ever dare to turn against him on the north side of the fourth floor.
-
Mist of Fear: he emit’s a fogg so deep that all those wandering inside it are affected. Depending on what the fear of those wandering inside is it might haunt them or take on a physical form. This can only be stopped by overcoming that greatest fear.
-
Soul Gathering; All souls present on Fourth Floor gather to him, either to be absorbed or to be sent out to re-raise dead bodies across the floor.
Actives:-
Corona Blast; He gathers the heat of the Sun and inner layers of the Earth, then flings them towards his opponents to litteraly scorge them. Depending on the power he uses they might end up with a few burn marks or becoming severaly burnt.
-
Judge of Hell; The true form of the Guardian awakens, thus showing Dumah’s true demonic form. The power that wasn’t utilized before due to a seal, which is broken upon using this, flows around and breaks through everything.
-
Cerberus Upstanding; a technique that is triggered equally with “Judge of Hell”. It fuses Cerbex and Erebos into the mighty Three-headed Cerberus, who joins the fight of his master.
-
Swing of Death; a quick swing from his equipped weapon that makes the path it has made burst into flames. Thus when used effectively these flames can become projectiles that are shot with every swing he makes.
Editted! Everythings ready xp
And if there are not others for Floor 4, I'd like the monsters to all become creatures from hell; hellhounds, demons, skeletons and souls ;p
Posted by: Xires Feb 10 2013, 06:20 PM
Alright Aura, Gorgon, Accepted. But Soul Gathering is technically a passive, and 'Demon' are limited to 4th floor north, not the entirety of fourth floor.
ALSO: If no one else gains control of an area, I will be deciding them. the reason for this is that the area USED TO BELONG to a boss that was defeated. these areas are where 'lost' artifacts are found. Feel free to populate these empty areas, though.
Posted by: Aura Dynasty Feb 10 2013, 06:23 PM
Editted, i'll go working on the Hero's SU now ;p
Edit: Uhm Xires, I was wondering whether my hero could use dual guns that shoot plasma bolts as weapons, is that possible?
Posted by: Xires Feb 10 2013, 06:29 PM
Looking at our current bosses....Yes. In fact, feel free to add a bazooka or two, as well. You'll NEED it.
Side note, weapons will be upgraded to more powerful weapons as the game goes on. hopefully no one is too attached to their starting weapons...
Posted by: The Shadow Feb 10 2013, 06:29 PM
I've edited my appearance... He is more or less of a forest Nymph now...
Posted by: Aura Dynasty Feb 10 2013, 06:42 PM
Woot, i'm seeing my char with a double-equiped bazooka in the end xp
Posted by: Xires Feb 10 2013, 07:24 PM
Thank you kindly shadow, that's much better! He'll be able to intimidate a bit better with that appearance.
Posted by: TheSketchQueen Feb 10 2013, 07:53 PM
We'll be upgrading weapons? Okay. As long as Mara can keep in a twin state, she'll be fine.
Posted by: Aura Dynasty Feb 10 2013, 08:09 PM
Alright, I'm all set with the Su's, both are finished xp
Posted by: Shadow Dragon Feb 10 2013, 08:28 PM
We're gonna get upgraded weapons? Sweet~
More scythes!~
eee I'd like to reserve a Boss now too! Finally got a good idea •w•
it's unfinished, but its about half done or so. Hopefully I can get it finished tomorrow, but I still gotta do English essays
I need to stop doing them the night before
Boss (click to showhide)
Profile Name: Shadow Dragon
Character Name: Ajax
Age: Ajax does not appear as any age, although by mentality alone he seems rather childish
Gender: Ajax is a genderless creature, however is referred to as a “Male”
Artifact:
Skull of Anzu-
The http://fc00.deviantart.net/fs71/i/2011/136/a/d/eagle_skull_2_by_valeroso-d3gizh1.jpgof Anzu is a skull that is said to have come from a long dead beast. It’s rather heavy; however Ajax appears to have no problem at all, wearing it where his “head” is to be. The skull itself is hard and thick, and it cannot be broken or destroyed by normal means or even by Ajax’s slime. In that way, he is able to dissolve it into his body and bring it back out onto his head when needed to.
The Skull grants his a passive ability of Pure Fire, an active ability. This type of magic allows him to “breath” fire through his “mouth”. The fire is able to melt most metals used in armour. The fire comes out similar to a column of fire, and cannot be manipulated into any other form.
Appearance:
Upon first glance, Ajax appears just as a black mass. He’s similar to a slime-like creature that’s quite squishy and rubbery, and can contort his body into several shapes and forms. Ajax is able to go up to between seven and eight feet and several meters across when flattened. The only humanoid details on Ajax would be the face and only a pair of limbs. The pair of limbs is a pair of arms, which are long and with long claw-like fingers. Having no visible legs, Ajax moves around by sliding around the floor like a snail and will leave behind a thin layer of black water-like substance.
Ajax’s face has no visible details besides a pair of white-outlined holes that appear to be his “eyes”. They’re hollow and dark, so it’s unknown how he even sees. His mouth is not visible at first, however when open it appears just like his eyes – dark and hollow. The only difference is that his mouth is lined with sharp black teeth.
Personality:
Despite his menacing looks, Ajax doesn't seem all that...dangerous at first. He acts mostly like a curious little kid, who'll hide from Heroes and watch them from afar once they enter his domain. If he finds one particularly interesting, he'll actually go right up to that Hero and start inspecting them. Unfortunately he cannot communicate properly past a word or two at a time. He'll start touching them and moving them, even coming as to "sample" how the Hero tastes. That normally results in the Hero losing an arm, but Ajax doesn't mind. The only good alternative is if Ajax would take the Hero and take them away deeper into his domain. He's more keen on having the Heroes be in a suitable condition to play "games" with him.
These games are normally involving things of "how much weight can a Hero take before they suffocate" or "how many times can I stab a Hero until it bleeds to death". Ajax finds pure amusement in these games, as he believes that these games are just like how a human child plays Hide-and-seek or tag. Ajax has the sort of innocence to him where he doesn't quite understand the concept of death very well and will just mistake dead things for sleeping things. He often becomes very attached to his "sleeping" things, putting them around his domain as if they were pretty dolls. They'll most likely get eaten however.
Area:
On the eastern side of the fourth floor, there’s a domain known as the Lab.
Passives:
Slime
Ajax is able to contort his body into multiple shapes, sizes, and even textures. He can harden his slime or turn it into a liquid, such as forming sharp spikes with his body or become a large unsuspecting puddle. He can even squish himself into a ball if he so desired.
Gluttony
Ajax is able to consume and breakdown literally anything, much like how humans eat and break down foods. Being that he does not actually "eat" the objects - rather he absorbs it into his body - Ajax doesn't have to worry if it’s even a giant stone wall or sharp shards of glass. He could most likely eat the entire Bastion of Insanity; however he's on strict rules to not eat anything that isn't part of his domain.
Rubber
Due to the material his body is made up of, Ajax is resistant towards electrical and tremor-educing attacks. Very weak attacks Ajax can shrug off without problem and large-scale attacks don’t do as much damage on Ajax as they would to other opponents.
Actives:
Sludge
It is the ability to ball up part of his slime to spit at the enemy – incredibly simple. Should he take the extra few minutes to focus, Ajax is able to both harden the slime and cause the ball of slime to become bigger. Without focus, the balls are the size of a human adult’s fist. If aimed right, the balls can land in the enemies’ faces and blind them.
Convene
Ajax is able to let out a screech-like noise that attracts the creatures of his domain. By summoning them all together in one place, he can manipulate them into either acting as a hive mind against the enemies to attack or ensnare them. He can do this ever hour or so, plus the more often he does it in succession the less and less powerful the attack will be due to the dwindling number of minions.
Dark Ram
By cloaking the Skull of Anzu with slime or sludge even, Ajax will ram into the enemies with heightened attack power. It’s good for knockback and, if lucky, can send the enemies flying.
Blacklight
When in need of a long reach attack, Ajax will unleash something other than slime - black electricity. It will occur as a sweeping motion along the floor, shocking anything that’s on the ground. It is possible to cause the paralyze affliction by using this attack. It takes several minutes to recharge, however.
Sulfuric
Similar to his Sludge ability, Ajax is able to make a second type of slime ball. These are made of a corrosive acid that will melt through even bone should it come in contact with it. These take several minutes to form and it is possible to force Ajax into canceling the ability by hitting him. The balls are smaller than the Sludge balls, about the size of a child’s fist, and aren’t used right off the bat as they inflict minor burns within Ajax.

@Aura: very good! Accepted; Also, if no one else claims an area on the 4th floor, feel free to populate the area however you wish. remember though, I create the actual areas.

Profile Name: MinaRawr
Character Name: Mina Scrios
Age: 18
Gender:Female
Species:Kumiho (Ninetailed foxdemon that can take the shape of a girl with fox features)
Appearance: Mina has long white hair with red at the bottom reaching to her thighs. She has fox ears, fangs and nine black tails. She is tanned, slender and wears an outfit looking like http://www.google.nl/imgres?um=1&hl=nl&safe=off&sa=N&tbo=d&biw=1280&bih=905&tbm=isch&tbnid=5Z06BlhyRhDA-M:&imgrefurl=http://spong.com/asset/371696/12/11049805&docid=ED_BGDBrVGa0KM&imgurl=http://cdn1.spong.com/artwork/g/r/gravityrus371696l/_-Gravity-Rush-PSVita-_.jpg&w=576&h=800&ei=z0TkUMGhOIaZ0QXl3IDIAQ&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=475&vpy=258&dur=327&hovh=265&hovw=190&tx=106&ty=125&sig=108254713566040510454&page=1&tbnh=157&tbnw=113&start=0&ndsp=28&ved=1t:429,r:8,s:0,i:112 Her nails are sharp like claws and she often wears a long hooded coat that covers her entire body and her tails.
Personality: Mina is cold and distant, but can warm up to others once they gain her trust. Once she knows somebody she will often flirt with them as a joke. Despite her appearance and behavior against people she knows, she is quite shy and cannot deal with flirty people herself.
History: to be role-played
Passives: Body-flicker; Once attacked, Mina's body will avoid it by literally warp a second through space and time to avoid it. The ability is only active once per few hours, so it is not used after a first attack. The ability also speeds up her healing when it fails.
Actives:
-Dark matter manipulation: Mina can control and summon shadowy masses at her will. It can be used to crush opponents and shape itself into anything she wishes it to be. She often uses it to create wings for herself. She cannot summon too much of it at a time, as it would form a black hole when mashed together.
-Gravity control: Mina has the power to control gravity. Lifting small objects or moving people costs low energy and can be done for quite some time. Moving big items or objects in the way costs more energy and can therefor not last very long. She has a small relapse of about a second between being able to use the ability. When using the ability on herself it is practically unlimited so she can, for instance, make herself fly or create a gravitational field around her to let other objects fly with her.
-Electricity manipulation: Mina can stir, absorb and control electricity inside and outside her body. Though not as shape able as her dark matter, she manages to create several objects with it such as whips, chains or creatures like dragons or snakes.
Posted by: Xires Feb 11 2013, 02:37 PM
@MinaRawr: Well... I will accept it. But I expect you to keep up with the rest of us, alright? I'm not unaware of your actions outside of here, so I know you're quite new to this site (and it seems roleplaying in general). Also your abilities will be severely nerfed in some areas of the castle, The Bastion can be quite unpredictable.
Posted by: MinaRawr Feb 11 2013, 02:58 PM
Actually I've been roleplaying for some quite time and been looking for a more active rp. I'll keep up.

Xires, if I could ask you something... This is actually directed towards everyone as well...
So, I can't think of a starting post because of the start that you gave... I mean... Is it ok if I just wait until someone comes to my floor or would you like me to conjure something up now? Either way is fine by me. I just can't think of anything to post about right now...
Posted by: Xires Feb 13 2013, 04:43 PM
Shadow, you, uh... DO realize that your Boss is not limited to their own area? Their area is just where they are strongest(and also where their keys are kept). A few ideas would be Preparing your area for arrival, or even Going out of your way to find the Heroes. But don't feel rushed, just go when you are ready.
Posted by: The Shadow Feb 13 2013, 05:00 PM
Well... Judging by the character I've put forth, and his personality... I would say he would have to stay in his area because of his powers and his... Personality... I can just wait then.

Profile Name: Forceman
Character Name: Catria
Age: Looks 16 human years, doesn't have care about this so called "age."
Gender: Female (?)
Species: Nobody knows for sure, but she says "Dark One"
Appearance: At first glance, Catria looks cutely helpless. Her thin frame makes it so you would think she would fall over if a weak wind blew. Her facial expression would suggest someone is out for her blood. She shivers like an Antarctic frost is following her. When it is too late for you to have better judgment, or when Catria doesn't feel like faking, her green eyes pierce farther than your subconscious. Her waist-low, straight, black hair billows. Her torn, black shirt and jeans give the unfortunate onlooker a sense that this is no one to joke with. Catria's pale skin initiates a question of what kind of being she is. A sword very large but light in her hands only spells the doom of whom she slices.
