All of a sudden I have an urge to play. XD I actually used to like the game back when it was on the Gameboy but never had any friends to actually play a real game without my gameboy. Then I lost the cartridge. Today I used an old Pokemon card as a bookmark for a book I'm reading and now I really, really want to play Pokemon TCG. XDD

I'd play you, so long as you kept it to Gold/Silver age or earlier, and in English.

I have so many cards it's not even funny. It's funny how I never really understood how to play in real life but I could play the Game Boy game easily.

I wish they would come out for a new Pokemon TCG for gameboy advance or DS or something. That game was so much fun.. all though I never beat it. I'd love that. I used to be really into the TCG... now they just collect dust in a binder under my bed. Actually, that's a lie, they're in a box now cause we're moving. But still in a binder, all dusty and gross. My favourite strategy used to be Rain Dance Blastoisness. :333 I had two of them. :333333 -------------------- |

I gave Manually Blinking all of my cards, though I don't know where half of them went. I only did the first 3 sets anyway... He got lucky with all of the booster packs. Seeing him get all of the awesome rares, and I got nothing... Kinda pissed me off seeing him get his Charizard while I get my 3rd Alakazam. Though it's funny when I beat a Poliwrath with Exxecute. Hypnosis leech seed rape.

I still play from time to time.
I have... 15 decks I think, and around 1500 cards. And I would imagine there is probably a site out there somewhere that you can do battle on, though it may be with the new rules. -------------------- |

I had a whole thing full of Pokemon cards. I gave them all to my younger cousin for his birthday when I got into Yu-Gi-Oh, though. I went to a card shop once with a friend and he let me use his really good Pokemon deck to battle in their little tournaments that they held. I didn't win >_>

This is why I say Early/Mid GS era and earlier. It's all I've got cards from. Still, though, there's a lot of powerful stuff in that age.

I used to have two Charizards. I gave one to my friend. >_> I was way to nice and stupid back then. I've probably lost my current one.

You make me miss the TCG. I stopped collecting them around the time that G/S/C came out. I only had three cards from the era, if you will. They were all Japanese too.
Good times, good times. I remember having three Articunos (all different), two Blastoises (one english and one German), and two Zapdos (one English and one German). They were the center of all my strategies. -------------------- |

I'll have to recount all my cards. My charizard was a special one though. There were three editions I can reccount for the Base set: the 1st edition of course (with the list 1st or whatever it is) then a VERY short release of a verison of the 2nd edition that used a dark red nonbolded font for the HP (thats what I have), and then the massively mass produced General second edition, with the bright red bolded HP text.
just looking above the bookshelf, I have 1 2 inch binder that looks like the zipper is about to rip, 2 1 1/2 binders probably about half full, and then one of those big plastic bins (the same saize as those two 1 1/2 inch binders stacked on top of each other) and that is full of cards too. As I said, I'll have to take inventory again someday. Now that I think about it, perhaps my really old list is buried in one of the MANY backup DVD's I have made over the years... |

I was a king of the GBC game. I had decks with all of the legendaries, and a Psychic deck with tons of Mewtwos and Mews. My other favorite was my Water deck with my 2 Articunos. Instant. Annihalation.

I still play and it's funny because when I was little i only collected the cards and didn't play with them. I seemed to have moved in the opposite way. If you still want to play it electronically and against people download hamachi,(to be able to connect) and then download apprentice with a current pokemon tcg patch. There are forums regarding playing people too so you can find people to play.

I've had that feeling too. XD I thought I was gonna give up pokemon in fifth grade, but I just couldn't. I tried, but I've liked pokemon since I was four and I have almost all the games, figures, tcg, ect.
