Hey, relatively new to the game, and I just hatched my first shiny! It was a Lickitung, and it came in the sprite from Gold. Now if I evolve Lickitung into Lickylicky, what will that result in? I wouldn't expect it to keep the Gold sprite, of course, but what sprite will it get instead? And, will it still keep the shiny status since it is changing sprites as well? Thank you!

Yes, it'll keep the shiny status. Not sure about the sprite, so if I'm mistaken someone can correct me on that, but I would guess that your Lickilicky would get the BW sprite since it's the most recent one? Not much of a problem since you can change sprites if you have a Sprite Changer.

Any Pokemon that can't use the same sprite upon evolution will revert to the site default sprite, which I believe is a duplication of either the BW or HGSS sprite depending on the Pokemon.
