It looks like all Alola forms are the shinies this time around?
Seeing as alola grimer is normally green and 'purple' normal grimer is it's shiny it's kinda like a 'reverse green-hunt' to shiny hunt it, so i'll go grimer first laughs -------------------- |

Congratulations, NoteNatural!
I'm trying for each member of the Alolan Sandshrew and Vulpix families since I only have 1 Icicle Shard. -------------------- |

I got my first!
I wish Gen 8 shinies would be more interesting, these designs are very boring. :/ This post has been edited by Shintarooo: May 16 2017, 02:34 PM -------------------- |

Thanks Snowsky, hope you get those shards. Congrats sklarmadakflam and Shintarooo on your shinies. Got my alolan sandshrew, so next is the grimer then I will just hunt for sandshrews till SWSH ends, hopefully will find a male one. ^-^

I think I like Alolan Ninetales' normal coloration better than its shiny. Anyone else agree?
And congrats to everyone who has managed to hatch a shiny! -------------------- |

I managed to hatch a shiny this time (and forgot to post it when I did - oops)! Within the time limit I mean (as opposed to a week or more late like it seems usually happens XD).
I love her so much! I do agree with you sklarmadakflam about the colours, though. I think I like normal Alolan Vulpix/Ninetales colours better than their shinies. EDIT: I also hatched my second shiny for the SWSH since I posted this. That's the first time I successfully hatched multiple SWSH pokemon during the SWSH for some time! Going for the trinity now. Never hatched three SWSH pokemon before, maybe this can be my first? This post has been edited by Shiny Dragonite: May 26 2017, 01:58 AM -------------------- |

Yay! Now I've got all three of them. I hatched my Shiny Alolan Vulpix too but I had a shiny race for it so it didn't count in SWSH, sad. But here's my second shiny in this month's SWSH! -------------------- |

Congrats to everyone who managed to hatch shinies this month! Unfortunately Wulfenite won though ^^"
For our group results, Caprice won with 3 SWSH shines In a tie for second place with 2 shinies each are Shiny Dragonite, InsaneMoments and NoteNatural! I'll send the four of you some Sky Gifts as prizes Third place was a nine-way tie with 1 shiny This month's group event is a GWSH! It'll probably start around the 12th, but I'll post again about that next week -------------------- |

I just had a cursory look at June themes and it seems a decent amount of space related stuff is celebrated this month, plus Cosmog was just released on GPX so maybe a 'space' theme?
We could have Pokemon such as: Cleffa Staryu Lunatone Solrock Elgyem Minior Shinx? (the line is based on a constellation) Togepi? (looks like a star) Teddiursa? (has a moon on its head) Carvanha? (has a star on its chest) Volbeat and Illumise? (draw patterns in the night sky) Larvesta? (Volcarona once replaced the sun) Eevee? (due to its connection to the sun and moon through Espeon and Umbreon) Those last ones with the question marks are a little questionable since they don't really have direct in-game connections to space but I thought I'd include them anyway to offer up more options for hunting. -------------------- |

I really like that idea, Shiny Dragonite! Thanks for sharing I think I will use the 'space' theme for our GWSH. I'll include all the Pokemon you mentioned in the hunt list, so we have more Pokemon to choose from
Now that we have a theme, the GWSH will start at reset today! As normal, post the shinies you hatch here in the group if you want them counted towards the GWSH It'll run until the end of the month. -------------------- |
