I feel as though I recall that there used to be a thread about vehicles, but I've looked and looked, and I can't seem to find it. I hope, then, that this question is alright where it is.

I'm not sure if this would ever become relevant, but I was wondering if a character would be allowed to have a motorbike of some kind (probably something like this). It seems to me that the Pokemon world has always necessitated quicker transport (Bikes, cars, running shoes...) and I though a motorcycle would sort of fit into that category. And since everything can apparently be stored in a pokeball, when not in use, it could be 'captured' until it was needed again (and since a pokeball can hold something as large as a Wailord, I don't think a bike would be a problem).

In any case, as I said, I wasn't even positive that I wanted to use one, but it might be nice for future reference.

And a Golurk

I remember the question; ibelieve the answer was yes. It's OK to have a motorcycle.

Don't know about the storage ball thing though. It sounds OK, but I don't know if we want to see people packing Hummers into their pockets. Perhaps another mod would like to chime in?

P.S. If we allow Hummers in our pockets, Pa is so doing that :P.

Tuesday's Pack

I know vehicles are probably going to be more prominent in Uprising, but I think it's a good idea to have them as a possibility. Vehicles being contained in storage devices sounds a lot like the capsules in Dragonball Z, which is awesome. I think it's a good idea.

However, because of the possibility of people keeping hummers and helicopters and the jet that Tuesday so wants to learn how to fly, I think it might be a good idea to have the vehicles be approved by the mods before they are used. But that's just my opinion, and I would equally enjoy the comments of other mods. grin.gif

I would say the vehicles are allowed, but nothing larger than a motorcycle.

As far as storage is concerned, it has been implied that simple objects can indeed be stored. Clothing, foodstuffs, pottery. I believe we may need to put a complexity cap on such storage. No computers. No electronics. No vehicles. (However, there IS a folding motorcycle...)
