I'm making my PANE profile right now, but I read a couple question topics already, and I started to wonder, what things do we need to pm mods for? I know you have to PM them to make a small town or something, and I think to challange a contest leader, but what else? I just want to know in advance so I don't get in trouble.

If in doubt you're probably best off asking, or at least posting a question in the Questions as they come thread.

As far as I'm aware there's not a set list of what needs permission and what doesn't. There are a few things that are definite though: You'll need to ask to challenge a gym leader or contest leader; to create a new town or something similar; to evolve a pokémon (except those which evolve by level up when you've reached the right level); and to have a pokémon use a move it doesn't learn by level up. I can't think of anything else specific right now, but as a general rule you should ask if you're planning on anything unusual.

You can post here to request a pokémon capture, and to request a partner (a character who stays with yours for the long term) you can post here.
