Question about evolution |

How do pokemon such as Eevee evolve into Espeon or Glaceon as there is no way for it to gain happiness and there is no place for it to specifically evolve...is it the same thing as Pokemon XD what with shards and stuff?

Anyways, I don't feel like spoiling it for you since you have an Eevee egg. Just hatch it and see. And Pokémon do gain happiness; they get +1 happiness for every interaction.
