Portal is pretty amazing.

I got the orange box via steam content delivery and It downloaded when I went to bed. When I woke up the next morning(which was earlier than usual) I played portal all morning!

I just got Doom 1 and 2 over the internet and I like them too. They are very different than doom 3 though!

I haven't really played Doom all that much, only the original. :S I like Quake/Unreal better.

what is Quake about and what is the game play like?

Quake... pretty random. You can play as a lot of characters. I chose Uriel and named him or her (it's a giant Gargoyle) Ms. Hijab. Funny, I know. You can also talk to the characters when you play against them. It's really cool. Or you can spectate, i.e. watch them kill each other. And you have a lot of areans to chose from to play in. It's are really awesome game.

So is it only multiplayer then?
what is the new Quake like?

Huh? Qauke 3 is single and multiplayer. But ours is on a computer, so it can only be single. :S I like Single Player though. But my aim has gone really down so I can't game like I used to when I was 11.

I like single players because it can keep me interested for hours but with multiplayer I can have 1 really fun match and then I'm done...

Single player is the best. You don't have some stupid n00b following you around all the time. Well, I am a n00b at Halo, since I keep using the Fist of Rukt. XD I'm better at Melee combat and using a slow firing gun like the pistol or something. I despise most Covenant weapons. >:0

I'm not very competitive and I find it hard to play some of the games where people devote hours to playing and are so good it looks like they're cheating.

I like Co-Op if it's with my bro, my dad, or some of my closer friends that own the game. I hate waiting around for the other guy, I just rush in unless it's a high difficulty

My dad sucks at co-op, we never play with him. He's a Q3 guy, and he's been stuck on the level where you have to kill Phobos. LOL He insists on playing it on Legendary, or whatever the most difficult level is called. He got pretty far too, but Phobos killed him in the nick of time.

My brother is trying to complete Halo on Legendary. Kudos to him.

I just introduced half-life 2 to my friend that is obsessed with Halo and he likes half-life 2 more now.

Lolz. My brother is trying to get the Gnome achievement in Hal-Life, the one where you take the Garden Gnome through the whole game. XD

He named it 'Phil'.

where do you find the garden gnome anyways? I looked high and low and never found it.

I missed out on a lot of achievements in Episode 2 because my internet was down for a while...

I just played a round in TF2 and I'm sad because they balanced the classes by giving the soldier and demo man a lower ammo reserve.

Gah. I hate the gnome achievement! I fell into the Ant Lion nest and almost lost it. Then I realized that I'd continuously worry about it, so I gave up on the achievement. I really wanna play Portal again tomorrow

Ant Lions are awesome. And ugly. Like Purugly. Go Ant Lions!

Then we started playing 'Can't Touch This' when my brother was killing the Ant Lions. Phil was watching us. We've taken quite a liking to Phil. Almost like a second cousin.

Hey i'm impressed with myself, I just got 2nd place on my team in a team fortress 2 match and we won!

Gnome is under the bed in the radio station after the train wreckage. While Alyx is talking with Eli, Kleiner, and that Magnusson guy, go near the exit and look under the bed. It should be there.

my firend that just started playing half-life 2 really likes the part where the one guy yells "they're shelling us!"

I love the level where all you basically fight are Striders with a little bit of Combine soldiers. That level was AMAZING when I played it for the first time. Especially with the one Strider that bursts out from underneath a bunch of cars, and the one chasing you in the tunnel.
