Anyway, on topic. I don't personally think I'll like GoD (I'm with SaS). It seems too...different. I'm still not sure how these supports are working, because last I heard they were mainly generic.

The generic supports make perfect sense since, for one, the same characters will be reappearing across four different story lines, so, it wouldn't make sense to have in-depth ones, or, on the other hand, it would make it overly tedious to make separate ones for each story line, and then that brings the issue of what if X and Y get a C support in story 1 and then progress later on and then if they have that alternate one building on the alternate C but it's the first C that they got so then ya.

And besides, the most popular FE games, 3 and 4 (IIRC at least) had no supports, in the case of 3 (again, IIRC), and, very generic ones again, in the case of 4. FE10 will be a further step in the return to the SNES-style games, which IMO is a good step for the series, as the older games are vastly superior to the newer ones. Even with the loss of the newer support system, I'm positive that the game will be amazing nonetheless. Path of Radiance was my favourite of the ones to reach NA by far.

I dunno, I mean, if everyone has the same, two line supports it just...will be kinda repetitive and unnecessary. They could have just taken supports out all together. Just seems like somewhat of a waste.

They confirmed at the annual Autumn Nintendo conference that there is going to be a Fire Emblem DS game, a remake of the first game. Maybe Marth won't suck and we'll get a localization. Maybe we'll get all six of the unreleased games.

I really hope they don't screw around with em', though. FE1 and FE5 are two of my favorite games ever, and if the difficulty is screwed, it might not be worth playing.

Really? That's great! Do you have any links or anything where I could read about it? I can't wait for Genealogy. My cousin got me hooked on it and I've been obsessed since. Ayra, her kids, and Titlyu rock my world.

Also, I saw some screens for the remake today. Wow! I love the face sprites, they're great! The battle sprites are a little iffy, but I turn battles off anyway, so Out of the few we've seen, though, Marth's is my least favorite. He's so...chubby.

It's FE1 remake now though, and something about 3. If they are going to remake them all like Ramsden said, 6 won't be for a long time.

Why, that's the most obscure and worst reason I have ever seen for this!

It makes just as much sense to call it "Radiant Dawn" because of "Path of Radiance" and "Goddess of Dawn".
In fact, if there was any Christianity shit involved in the dubbing of this game, you may as well say "bye bye" to your "Goddess Ashira", because they'd most likely change that. Which they did not in FE9.
