Hello everyone!! I've been a member for...years and just came back after randomly remembering this site. I was most active again before Gen 7 came out and have occasionally reappeared to click a few times, and I was just wondering how active the site is now.

It's not as active as it once was, but there is definitely a player base and committed community. There is a new system in place to give players access to more events that require you to hatch eggs for coins for prizes. We just had one ended. Along with the bi-monthly SWSH's and Scavenger Hunts. Still getting new Pokemon added to the site too, just be patient on those if you end up sticking around.

Swing by the Discord (you can find the link in my signature) that's where you'll get to know a lot of the active community pretty quick.

Well, we don't have a full Galarian set even though it's been 4 years since those games came out, and no outward communication from mods or admin when it'll happen, so I'm saying it's on life support.

Not dead per se, you can still interact and hatch eggs, but seriously it's been four years. I know how long it takes to make sprites. There's been no communication on the subject that's easily found, just more novelties. =/

If you think there's been "no communication" then you're clearly not in the Discord. The forums are dead, all non-formal staff communication comes on the Discord nowadays. They've said in the Discord that the Galar rollout has slowed and come to a temporary halt because all of the spriters have had real-world issues come up. But hopefully those issues will clear up soon and the spriters will become available again. Fingers crossed.

(Also, "just more novelties" is not really accurate -- the only novelty we've gotten in almost two years is Nihilego [Parasite], and we've gotten like 50+ canon Pokemon since the novelty before that. Unless you're mistakenly counting Hisuian forms as novelties?)

(Furthermore, "four years" is an outright lie, SwSh came out in November 2019 and we got the first Pokemon from them, the starters, on Dec. 1, 2019. That's only a little more than two and a half years ago.)
