I'm actually likely to get neither. I don't have a 3/2DS, so it would cost me well over Ł100 to get set up for either. I don't play many video games these days, so can't even argue it would be a long term investment for other games.
Don't get me wrong, both X and Y seem great from what I've seen. Mega evolutions look a lot of fun, and the whole 3D environment is beautifully done., but there's not enough to justify the Ł150 or whatever cost it would end up being. Plus, doing a full time uni degree and a fairly intense part time job, (and the fact I live over an hour away from both), means I really don't have 40 odd hours to be investing in a game at the moment. --------------------  |

I got X at first because of Xerneas but eventually got Y as well. So both.

At first, I originally got X the day the games both came out. But then after a while, I got Y. Forgot the reason why, though. Person with bad memory over here. Anyway, in the end, I ended up with both games, and a soft spot for both Xerneas and Yveltal. ;w;

I picked X because it has my favorite Pokemon (Houndoom) in it. Then I found out that Houndoomite is exclusive to Y... How does that make any sense?!
