My wii remote is acting strange? |

Ok so I got a afterglow remote last year it was working at first but now when I put batteries in it just lights up and won't connect to my wii I tried syncing but it's still just weird and even when I turn my wii off it stays lit up unless I take out the batteries anyone else have this problem?

It sometimes takes devices a few moments to recalibrate or perhaps you should check the settings if you have a gamecube controller...
If you don't have one, maybe try turning it off, then on, if it works, try again. Stupid controller. If you still have your wii manual, try consulting that. After all else failing, try tech support.
