In Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, players were able to explore the Undeground and get all sorts of items, including fossils. After getting the National Dex, players could get past fossils and evolutionary stones. I plan on making an RP in the Underground. I'd like to know what restrictions are on the items. I'm pretty sure I'm safe to get all the spheres I want, and possibly star pieces, revive, etc. I'm more concerned about the fossils (kabuto, omanyte, aerodactyl, anorith, lileep, cranidos and shieldon) and odd keystones (yes, they're underground too).

I don't know if Furoh has an underground...
I mean, I suppose it could. Assuming it does, I'd expect to encounter a fossil or two, perhaps a few spheres, or an evolutionary stone. Maybe even an actual Pokemon. -------------------- |

Sure, Furoh has an underground. Nothing -thus far- links the main land to Fidona and Daioh, but rare fossils have been found from Kanto/Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh, suggesting that originally the land was one mass that divided by some sort of tectonic shift. Oddly radioactive stones have been unearthed as well, suggesting that the immense pressure creates some strange kind of radiation that interacts with a Pokemon's genetic code. If that made sense, I'll be surprised. :{ -------------------- |

"Arr! There be evolution stones an' fossils to be had, matey! Try not to get the cancer, and drag up as much loot as ye c'n carry!"
Or something a little less extreme. -------------------- |

Well, it was always explained to me that Pokemon like Jigglypuff evolve when "exposed to radiation from X Stone". I didn't mean it like that. :P Though if that's true, my platinum character's in trouble: he's got about 4 of each.

Yeah. The game refers to stones as releasing Radiation. Though you could handwave it as a latent resonate frequency, or a chemical reaction that occurs on contact.

So in conclusion, I can get as many fossils and stones as I desire...so long as I ask a mod if I can evolve/revive a pokemon.
