My Favorite and Rarest (i think) would be a holo base set second addition charizard, just because it has been like
my most prized possesion in my binder ever since i got it... not sure if it is rarest.... its just like a keepsake its like my motivation?

In general, definately Surfing Pikachu. It's just so cute! I love it.
That I own... Probably my holographic Kabutops. Mostly because it's one of the coolest looking card ever.

Jup! He was at World's 2004 and I got to meet him...xP Well...Sortof...I got ushered through the crowd after I got it signed...XD;; I also got an old rainbow energy signed by its creater!

Mine would probably be a tie between Lt. Surge's Raichu and Blaine's Arcanine (both English & Japanese) But I also have a favoring for the Dark and Light Eeveelutions(also both E&J)....Idk...I love all my cards~! Omg! I forgot...I've got a brand-new, japanese Sky Shaymin! 8) AND a japanese Giratina! both exclusive movie promos! w00t! Hmm...what to pick...ah...ah....AHHHHH!!!!!! *runs into wall. Dies*

I hardly ever play, but when I do we use cards from all gen's :P
Anyway, favourite is my Dark Marowak with 70hp, it has brick smash, and Hard bone 
Rarest would be umm... Dunno, dark tyranitar, infernape level X, Torterra level X or empoleon lvl X (got 2 in the same pack, and one in the next I bought 
)
EDIT: I found more that might be my rarest! I was looking through cards I had since I hadnt checked in about a year, and I have a rockets wobbuffet (not sure about rarity), Dark Dragonite (has giant tail and summon minions poke-power) and a Latias ex (I was given it for free, by a friend whose favourite legendary was latias! it's the one http://www1.webng.com/starvos/ebay/ppics/pokemon/drglatiasex.jpg)
Final EDIT: It might also be my ho-oh, holo manaphy (holo does mean when the backgroudn and stuff are shiny, right?) or my other Dark Tyranitar... sorry, I just dont know when it comes to rarity of cards ^^ If someone can tell me which of these is rarest, id be glad to know!

that charizard just became my favorite card, also is Darkrai lvl X, the nightmares never end when he's in play (still have to get him tho.)
i like my tiranitar though, with 4 darkness energy, he hits all oponent pokemon for 70 damage, and his main attack is 140, mix him with darkrai lvl X, and you got a massive monstruosity.

I don't play Pokemon TCG myself (I only have a ROM of the GBC game 
) but I liked this card, from a friend's deck: 
It's really good, if you have enough energies in your hand. It's basic, it's got a tiny weakness, slightly more HP than a regular basic Pokemon, and Endeavor is epicsauce.

From my own cards, I love my Tyranitar ex (from a booster :o) and Charizard ex (bought it a couple of years ago with a couple of ten dollars, mint of course) I also have this old Pikachu promo wich I'm very fond of :3 And I love my pretty Houndour and Slowpoke (in my avatar) cards, too.
Generally I love the Southern Islands pokemons (especially Raticate, Mew, Lickitung and Pidgeot for the art) and some pikachu promos, Surfing and Birthday.

I also collect Pikachu cards (havent got the start set that has the Flying/Surfing and those though), which includes:

Jungle Series Pikachu
and I cant remeber what series these ones were from, but they had:
-pokeball in bottom right corner
-pokeball in bottom right corner; slanted and e-reader card
-pokeball near corner of picture, z under it
-two stars near corner of picture

rarest are my prized Dark tyranitar,team rocket returns version.
Moltres and zapdos ex.
fav. are the muk e4 galladefrom rising tropius from rising rivals and delta species marowak kingler ludicolo[ground steel fire steel and fire respectfully] and dark ampharos[dark electric.]

My favorite card was always my promo Mew card however I haven't played the TCG since the beginning of the Johto series so my selection to pick from is limited. That card will always be my favorite though.

About 3 years ago, we were moving from my old state to my current state, and when we were unpacking I found a Dark Charizard card inbetween two shadow boxes. I don't remember ever having a Dark Charizard card. It was magical.

changing the topic a bit, i'll talk about a card i like, not my fav, but i find it quite amazing. i like the platinum blaziken, which allows you to burn the defending pokemon, and since it's a pokepower, not even unown g can prevent it.
i also like the ninetails that allows you to equip a flame energy from your deck to your pokemon for each heads, it's a pretty cool pokemon.
on a random subject, you know those foil energies right? i love seeing at least 6 under rainbow wing ho-oh, it just looks awesome.

Kyogre/Groudon LEGEND is the coolest card(s) I own, it has amazing artwork, and its attacks are freaking worthy of LEGEND status.

My favorite card I own is probably the Box-Topper for the Cresselia/Darkrai Clash of Legends Box, the Jumbo Darkrai & Cresselia LEGEND. My favorite card in general, that I do not own are the Absol EX from Power Keepers, G LVL. X from Platinum Supreme Victors, and Prime from HS Triumphant. I love me them Absol cards

My rarest would probably be a full rayquaza & deoxys legend
My favorite would have to be my steelix. "flip a coin until you get tails. This attack does 100 damage times the number of heads." It's so evil!!!!!!!
Note: when I wrote rayquaza up there, my iPod wanted to change it into "database". Is it just me or are those two not even close to each other?

My favorite card is that new Serperior card that's coming out in the new Black & White TCG. As for rarest... Well, my brother technically got it, but he never uses it anymore, so it's now mine, but here it is...

My favorite card would be my Shining Mew card that was given to me by a friend. A very close second would be Ancient Mew card and holographic Charizard card.
