The Witch encounter music from Left4Dead, EASILY.
Combined with the sound of her crying, it just creates such an insanely tense and creepy atmosphere. XvX EDIT: Tell me THIS is not creepy. This post has been edited by Galahawk: Aug 17 2009, 10:11 AM -------------------- |

OH GOD YES. THAT THING SCARES THE HELL OUTTA ME.
And I'm usually the one with the Auto Shotgun, meaning that I'M the one to kill her. Which means that I have to spot her, approach her slowly and fire like a madman. @-@ -------------------- |

The Cave of the Past (in the past), and the final battle with Giygas in his true form, both from EarthBound. I've played it for years, but that music never stops being creepy. D:

Spider Queen's Extermination - Okami.
It's creepy because when you fight her it's silent except for a few windchimes and her groans, feels like something is going to pop up and attack you. ;~; -------------------- |

"Beyond the Sea" in Bioshock. When your about to take the little submarine type thing into Rapture. You mean the recording of "Beyond the Sea" by Bobby Darin (apparently done with violins) that plays when you enter the lighthouse? I thought it was kind of nice, to be honest. I think in terms of creepyness the music that plays when you're wandering around Arcadia that isn't licensed music is a winner. I feel like I'm stepping into the nest of some sort of hueg insect whenever I hear it. It's on the OST and it's called "Step Into My Gardens". LOL I'm listening to the Silent Hill soundtrack right now, what a coincidence. I love the Silent Hill soundtrack, it's so unsettling and makes you want to look behind you to make sure no one's there. (: My vote goes to anything from Silent Hill. <3 Yesyesyes. Especially Scarlet Fitch's theme from Homecoming. And to whoever said Fatal Frame, I'm with you on that as well. For me, it's especially bad in FF3, when most of the background music out of battle consists of either the Sleeping Priestess "lullaby" or the lonely moan of the wind. -------------------- |

Very this. Also, the Tank theme from Left 4 Dead scares me, just because I know that right when I hear it, there's going to be a hulking zombie charging towards me and my teammates. Another song that creeps me out is the introductory song that plays when you first enter Ravenholm in Half-Life 2. -------------------- [align=center]

Not Tomorrow 2 from Silent Hill 1 found its way on my iPod.
It came on after Strawerry Fields forever, of all things. (It was in shuffle...) Needless to say, I jumped into the ceiling. This post has been edited by Scrooge: Aug 23 2009, 01:53 AM -------------------- |

Whut? No one's mentioned the Altering Cave music in Emerald? Well didn't think anyone would... seeing as no one bothers with that place anyway. But still, if you have time, fish out your old Emerald cartridge and listen to it. God, it's sooo creepy for a cave filled wit Zubat.
...Remembering the music is giving me the heebie jeebies. Altering Cave + 3:00 in the morning DO NOT mix. -------------------- frogs

Psycho mantis music in metal gear (PSX and gamecube). Seriously, when you reach a certain part (before the fight against him), you hear a song that is really creepy. Hear it here

The only music that ever got me the slightest bit unnerved was whatever music was playing in DMC , when the puppets just keep coming. I had my screen accidentally on dark, and I could only see when I shot the guns, so they popped up at random for me, with my only warning being that deep red opening on the floor. Playing alone, at like 3 AM, in a dark room...
Though I admit I haven't played Dead Space yet, I imagine that's pretty creepy. -------------------- |

I never did like the music in Lavender town on FR and LG. I dunno why. Otherwise, I have no clue. Don't hear much creepy music.

The mansion in the resident evil 2 game for game cube, when the zombies got closer. I literally couldn't play the game I was so terrified. I'm such a baby.

There was no mansion level in Resident Evil 2 (unless you count the police station, which was drat huge). -------------------- |

You mean the first game, there's no mansion in RE 2. But I agree, it was pretty creepy. It's just one of those ominous notes that only Resident Evil can produce, and it scares the bejebus outta me every time I play them. -------------------- |
