Member A:
I have an idea for an RP. It’d involve the Team Galactic enquiring Dialga to go back in time and stop certain events from happening. A group of Pokémon rangers manage to team up with Celebi to go back in time and stop Team Galactic. The RP would be set in many different era’s in time.

Member B:
Member B would rate the idea and it’s potential. If member A is stuck with the plot, Member B would give certain suggestions to make it better. With the help of other Members, Member A would have a pretty good role-play in his/her hands.

Where do I start? Well, I think the concept sounds ok, there aren’t many Pokemon RP’s around here. There was Shadows of War although with Smythy going inactive, I doubt it’ll be around for much longer. So, yes, there’s always room for this kind of role-play here ^-^

As for the plot, I’m kind of stumped at how and why people would turn into Pokemon. Is this set in the Mystery Dungeon world? Y’know, where Pokémon and people live in separate worlds? If so, I guess you’d need a powerful being (either a protagonist or antagonist), such as Arceus or Giratina, to turn people into Pokemon. Perhaps there is trouble in the Pokémon world and they need our help.

I've been thinking of ripping off (of sorts) of FidelCastro's RP, i cannot remember the name, but it was the survival horror one. it isn't really going to be pokemon related, but im not sure how i would go along with this RP. from the looks of it, the only other zombie lover here is Jaima. that was... shadow cloud, i believe. it had potential, but it was way to inactive.

im going to change a few things if i plan on the Survival Horror RP, there was just a hint of unrealism (even for a survival horror RP).

I’d look forward to RPing in a Dawn of The Dead-style RP, although I think interest by other members would peak if it included Pokémon – but I’d prefer it without. I think the main reason there wasn’t much interest in Fidel’s was because of its lack of Pokémon. This led to a few of the more mature role-players joining, but the less mature ones staying clear. It’s obviously better to have about 6 mature RPers than 12 people who can barely type a decent sentence. It’d be nice to have things like zombie Omastar, rabidly eating humans, but people would just go crazy with using their Pokémon as nothing less than tools. That's exactly it. I'd like it to be set in the Mystery Dungeon world, where there's trouble and the Pokemon need the help of 'ordinary' humans, therefore they're turned into Pokemon. I'm just having trouble thinking of.. the trouble, and to be honest, the whole plot.

Isn't that kinda like 28 Days/Weeks later?

well, actually, it is like neither. in the first one, they were trying to escape. they played the movie off as a survivors trying to live senario. in the second one, the military had already cleared out major parts of the country and were repopulating, but once again all hell broke loose. try thinking the period in between were the military had intervened and started clearing up the U.K, that is about were i am trying to base this RP. (not in the 28 days/weeks later story line of course)

on a side note, this topic apparently turned to zombies.

You only get your choice of one pokemon nothing over 25, no legends, no shinies.
You start with one leather armor kit and one choice of a bronze weapon, Upgrades as your journey continues

It is years after the legends from the land of Sinnoh were quelled by the two trainers who opposed Team Galaxy. It was an interesting coincidence, the way all four of the league-established regions had an assortment of great legendary pokemon, and each one had two trainers who became champions and tamed these beasts. But the pokemon world was stabilizing, and the new government that was gaining a hold over the four major regions had quelled all remants of any of those obsessed organizations that were the plague of the heroes. And so the legendary pokemon, satisfied that their mission of serving as guardians of the land was complete, handed over control to the government under the now-aged Ash Ketchum. The trainers Red, Blue, Gold, Crystal, Dawn, Paul, May, and Brendan brought the legendaries to a land far to the north of Johto, where they settled a village to play host to the great beasts of the land. It was made of outposts far flung across a vast mountain range, where in the center a central town lay, surrounded by forest. It was here that the smaller legendary pokemon resided, in harmony with the eight trainers who tamed them. And it was good for a time.

But as with all goverments, there was opposition. Back home in Sinnoh, Kanto, Hoenn, and Johto, the government was propering, not knowing that there was hate for them. Those supposedly eliminated remnants of the old teams still wanted their prize, the legendary pokemon that had left. They were supplemented by greedy aspiring trainers who wanted nothing more but to get their hands on a legendary pokemon. These people became terrorists, and put into action their plan. The mountain range Haven, home to every legendary pokemon there was, was laid seige to. The mountains were infested with terrorists, operatives sent to capture the legendary pokemon. Now you, for whatever reason, have learned of the terrorist plot and have traveled to the Haven mountain range, to stop the Omega terrorists and to keep free the legendary pokemon. Your allies will be the heroes of the regions: Red, Blue, Gold, Crystal, May, Brendan, Dawn, and Paul. The legendaries are yours to command, should you travel to them to enlist their aid. Now, you are in the center town of Haven, and you begin...

Back and trying to revive Haven. Hopefully this time it'll generate more interest. You'll start in the town Haven, and in order to eliminate the eight Omega Bases, you must recruit as many legendary pokemon to travel with you as possible. They're scattered about the Haven range, and you'll have to hunt them down to make them join you. If you bring along one of the heroes, you'll have a much easier time convincing them, as they obey those eight people without question. They're all at least above age fifty now, so it might be a bit hard to get them through the range to recruit legends.

(Pink)- Haven- This is the town of Haven, not to be confused with the region Haven. Here reside the four caretaker pokemon of the four major regions, Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, and Shaymin. Blue, the female hero from Kanto, cares for Mew, while Gold cares for Celebi while he's home. Usually, he's out seeing the legendary dogs with Celebi in the Open Plains. Paul cares for both Shaymin and Jirachi, as Brendan and May live elsewhere. This is where you'll start, so try to get a hero to come with you to find the legends.

(Yellow)- Greenhouse Cave- Named for its energy rebounding properties, this cave that opens up as a hole in seemingly flat, desolate ground is home to Mewtwo, Deoxys, Darkrai, and Giratina. This divided cave allows these four titans to train without disrupting the land above. The hero Red is often found here, although his permanent residence is in the town.

(Light Blue)- Storm Peak- Here is where two of the legendary birds reside: Articuno and Zapdos. They protect their territory with a constant storm, and stand guard to a cave that contains the legendary Arceus. Arceus has resolved not to interfere with the doings of the world any longer, so it's the only one of the legendaries that you cannot recruit for help. Crystal, the female hero from Johto, lives here to watch over the ice and thunder legends.

(Dark Green)- Dragon's Roost- The legendary guardian of the sky, Rayquaza, lies at the peak. It's usually up in the sky, and the climb takes such a brutal toll that you'd be better off leaving him alone. The two titans Palkia and Dialga spend their days trudging about this moutain to sap their strength, that they may not fly into the rage that they once did, nearly destroying Sinnoh. These two's powers over time and space are severely diminished.

(Red)- Shimmer- This sacred area is home to only one pokemon: Moltres. It's actually quite an easy climb up, provided Groudon's earthquakes don't faze you much. He isn't at the peak, but deep within a seperate cave in the same mountain. Shimmer is made of reflective stones that reflect the sun's rays so brilliantly as to heat the air up there to a temperature almost too hot to survive in. Moltres is friendly, though.

(Brown)- Defender's Cave- Groudon resides in this cave at the base of Mount Shimmer. In the center of the mount, surrounded by magma, he protects Moltres from intruders by constantly shaking the mountain. He is actually restricting Moltres's freedom, as the friendly legendary needs a lot of heat to keep it comfortable, and most cannot ascend to the peak to visit Moltres due to the quakes.

(Deep Blue)- Serenus Cavern- The legendary trio of the the three small pokemon that represent virtues, Mesprit, Uxie, and Azelf, lives here. Along with the psychic type Cresselia, this place is incredibly peaceful, and it is a constant paradise for the three, who look to Cresselia as a sort of mother to them. There is one pond in the cave, where the four rest at night. Dawn resides in a cabin right outside.

(Purple)- Eon Garden- A recreation of Latios and Latias's garden on the island, this is where the brother and sister pokemon live. May lives here with them, and she would be roughing it if it weren't for the tranquil, definitely non-rough feel on this luxurious garden. She tends to them every day, and keeps the Soul Dew in a fortified fountain, much like their old one, except better defended.

(Dark Blue)- Lake's Crypt- Here is where the ancient beast Kyogre lives, far away from her rival, Groudon. They've all but forgotten their instinctive rage and hatred, and now Kyogre watches over Manaphy, Prince of the Sea. Manaphy leads a wonderful colony of Phione, who are like children in every respect. They organize themselves in wonderful shows to please their parent.

(Periwinkle and Gold)- Aurum Auger Mountains- These two mountains are home to the two legendary birds of Johto, who daily roam the skies making rain and rainows for the region below. The hero Brendan is fascinated by the two, who were introduced to him by Gold. He'll ride them in turns on their daily sky-painting rounds.

(Orange)- Open Plains- Here, Raikou, Entei, and Suicune race across open plains at top speed, doing what they were born to do: run. Gold spends much of his time here with Celebi, watching the great beasts run free across the scenic, flat, grass covered land. They each retreat to their dens at the end of the day: Suicune a icy hole in the ground, Entei a volcanicly heated cave, and Raikou a simple cluster of tall grass.

(Olive)- Ruin Cave- Heatran, the ancient pokemon who has for centuries travelled abroad, sculpting caves, lives here now, constantly digs long tunnels and large chambers. The large mounatin is riddled with tunneled holes, where Heatran has made his mark on the landscape. The chambers that are fresh are superheated, and you can tell where he'll be next from the heat.

(Black)- Cutoff Tunnels- Only recently have Registeel, Regice, Regirock, and Regigigas opened a tunnel to the outside. Nobody knows how they were sealed in there in the first place, as no known tunnel other than the one recently made leads into their private network of tunnels. Heatran is always trying to get inside, but he for some reason cannot touch the rock where the Regis are near.

You can fill out multiple forms, and have at max two non-player characters travelling with you. You don't need to be quite as detailed with the NPC form as you would with the character form. Remember, NPC characters in this RP can be bunnied by other players.

Alright, so I was pondering this for a while after I joined the forum and found that there was an RP Thread as well to post in. I haven't exactly browsed through the different threads that have been started but I was wondering if there have been any RPs concerning Gym Leaders. I don't know what the protocol is for role-playing canon characters, and if it's not possible, I'll drop the whole idea without a second thought; ..but if there is a chance to do something like that, I was wondering if anyone could help me build off of that. There's plenty of people on this forum that are more than likely playing as a customized trainer character, so perhaps we can create a group of people for the D/P/Pl. series, that is, a group of gym leaders?

If this idea doesn't fly though, I'll bring up another idea that's been itching to fly.

A note on NPCs:

You can fill out multiple forms, and have at max two non-player characters travelling with you. You don't need to be quite as detailed with the NPC form as you would with the character form. Remember, NPC characters in this RP can be bunnied by other players.

Alright, so I was pondering this for a while after I joined the forum and found that there was an RP Thread as well to post in. I haven't exactly browsed through the different threads that have been started but I was wondering if there have been any RPs concerning Gym Leaders. I don't know what the protocol is for role-playing canon characters, and if it's not possible, I'll drop the whole idea without a second thought; ..but if there is a chance to do something like that, I was wondering if anyone could help me build off of that. There's plenty of people on this forum that are more than likely playing as a customized trainer character, so perhaps we can create a group of people for the D/P/Pl. series, that is, a group of gym leaders?

If this idea doesn't fly though, I'll bring up another idea that's been itching to fly.

That's an idea I can get behind, I've always liked the idea of life for a gym leader. I mean, in D/P/Pt we see that they have lives outside their gym (Even in S/R/E we know that at least one gym leader has a kid.) I've always wondered if they've got their own special sort of get together, or what they do when they're "off duty." Do they get breaks and vacations? Do they ever actually sleep?

Another idea of mine is based of G/S/C, because I really liked the idea of traveling to the other reigions and taking part in their Gym Competitions. It'd also have a few additions from R/S/E. (The contests! I love the contests!) Two or three teams (Heroes, Rivals, and whatever cheesy villain team we go with) are all travling together. We have the pokemon Trainer (IE: Ash, Gary (Both from Anime)), the Pokemon Breeder (IE: Brock (Anime)), the Contest goer (Ie: Jesse, May (both from the Anime)) and more. The difference is you're all going from reigon to reigon, and you're origional character. I'm thinking your moral code is based off what team you're in. The Heroes obviously never cheat, the villains obviously cheat all the time. Rivals are more neutral. Like Good, Neutral, and Evil in DnD.

But that's just my idea.
