The saddest moment for me, was the ending of Mother 3. For any who have played the game, they can relate. "I know you are exhausted...come to where your mother is...." I was tearing up so bad at that part. ;A; The Mother series is so emotional... -------------------- |

The ones i can think of,
Final Fantasy Crisis core has quite a few,Angeal dieing and the ending. The beginning of Fable: The lost chapters was kinda sad too,(The bandit raid part) Most games of the Tales of series have sad parts too, like in Tales of the abyss when Asch dies. theres quite a few more that i can't think of at the moment. -------------------- |

Well, the normal ending in Disgaea was sad. And as people have said Final Fantasy Crisis core was really sad.
I doubt any of you have played this game it was long ago even for me, but Breath of Fire 4 had a few sad moments. I never beat it but one part still haunts me. You start off looking for this one girls sister. I pretty much had forgotten about her by the time I reached an area with all these giant organs and muscles and stuff spread all over a dungeon. You had to climb up the veins only to find that they had turned the girl you were looking for into a hideous being in an experiment to make a god. She begs you to kill her. -------------------- ~om nom nom~ |

Harry Mason's death in Silent Hill 3.
Oh, how I cried... Would've put it in spoiler tags, but modern fans already know of this, or have no clue of who Harry Mason is/was. [-faceplam- at the latter] This post has been edited by PredatorLung: May 29 2009, 11:42 PM -------------------- (click to show ) |

I can't really think of one that had me bawling like a baby, but...I did get teary-eyed at the end of Super Smash Bros. Brawl for some reason. I thought they were all gonna die.

I prefer horror/mindscrew games to sad ones, so I don't have much to really say on the matter. :P
The saddest moment in any game I've played recently though... Would probably be Zack Fair's death in FF7: Crisis Core. You KNOW it'll happen eventually. You try and steel yourself. But, you get attached and DAMN that soundtrack doesn't make it any better... I can't hear "Price of Freedom" without feeling ultra depressed. It cut particularly deep with me too because not only did Zack kind of look and act like my late best friend... He died in a similar manner. |

Both of mine are, awkwardly, from Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II.
In the first one, I actually thought it was touchingly sad that Sora gave up his heart to save Kairi. In Kingdom Hearts II, Axel's kamikaze attack made me feel kind of down. He was my favorite character! And I would like to mention that if you pick the right ending in Fable (one or two), then it can be pretty saddening. I lost my entire family... OH GOD! In the SECOND ONE! I felt so upset when my dog jumped in front of the bullet for me! The noise it made, made my heart break! As with many others, Crisis Core. Not only did one of my favorite characters die, but I couldn't do anything about it. That feeling of helplessness hurt.
Tales of Symphonia made me upset when I chose to keep Kratos and kill off Zelos. Zelos was my favorite, but I wanted the item Kratos gave me... Final Fantasy VII, end of disc one. Not because Aeris/th died, but because my disc two didn't work. Grrr. -------------------- |

I think it was some part from one of the Kingdom Heart games I don't really recall though. I know I was sad when the game was over there, I loved Kingdom Hearts 2.

Silent Hill 1 when Lisa Garland started to die and she tried to get Harry to save her but...he left her there bleeding. The music during the scene brought me to tears along with the look on her face. She was so sad.. and helpless.

the end of Final Fantasy 7: crisis core, its just touching I must agree with Zero K. Crisis Core... I can't even finish playing it because I know how it ends and I'm not strong enough yet. XD Not ready to cry as hard as I know I will. Second best weeping was Kingdom Hearts, but that's just because I'm a weepy fangirl. X3 -------------------- |

The ONLY video game moment that EVER made me cry (cuz I'm tough like that) was the "1000 Words" video from Final Fantasy X-2.
