When I was a kid, I always asked myself what it would be like to be a superhero. And then, when I was in high school, I was asked to make a hero for a parody. I thought that it'd be good for the community if we gave everyone the chance to loosen up and try to make each other laugh in the form of an rp that everyone can relate to!

The game is simple: there is no set course of story, we make it up as we go along. But we all have to play heroes or villains that would be either silly or ridiculous. It can be anything from a super drinker to a hero that always seems to trip over his own feet. We all live in the same city and either share a coalition of heroes or a gang of villains. Either one you decide to play, there is a companionship among them, though villains are less like company and more like trouble, huh?

We can choose the name of the city. Or not. And we can map out the area together as a whole.

1) I will not take actual superheroes in a form. These must be parodies/knock-offs of real heroes that save the day in a comical way. (Hey, that rhymed!)

2) Even though this is a loose rp, I still refuse to allow over powered/ God modded Mary Sues and Gary Stus. Just because they're comical doesn't mean they're not interesting. Unless that is your superhero. The Adventurous Mary Sue...

3) Try to keep it as Pg-13 as we possibly can. I understand if your character is named The Flasher and he wears nothing but a trench coat and walks around flashing people for justice, but don't describe the size of the sword that hangs below the belt. Unless he carries a sword...

4) I'll accept your form when you put an idea for the name of the city somewhere in your form. Let's get creative! (Or maybe not.)

5) This is most important rule... laugh your rears off at the funny bits we put down!

So, now that we've got that done, what would a form show to look like? Well... here's mine.

Name: Captain Obvious (Mike Turbin)

Gender: Male

Race: Human (all races are allowed! No limits on otherworldly beings out aliens of any kind)

Age: 20 (again, no limits!)

Appearance: Captain Obvious is rarely seen outside of the garb he wears as a hero. As such, he can usually be seen waltzing about the city with a blue one-piece and red underwear, a cape flying behind him majestically and getting caught on almost anything that can catch a cape. On his one piece is a gigantic, obnoxious O, kind of like Superman's gigantic, obnoxious S.

He's a clean-shaven, black haired man with a glossy look in his hair, probably because of the grease he puts on to make himself look handsome. He likes to think of himself as a man who is physically fit and strong enough to leap buildings and lift cars, but in reality, he's only strong enough to lift fat cats.

When he finally decides to send his suit to the cleaners, he dons a pinstripe suit and a pair of glasses.


Personality: Captain Obvious is quite simply put, very stalwart and always against the forces of evil. He has the need to lead and will oftentimes lead things right into the ground. He has an extensive collection of Superman comics, which he proudly displays right to everyone and their next door neighbor across the street. Most people call him a super nerd, but he takes offense to it and screams he's not while he dusts the covers of his comics.

Captain Obvious is a fellow who'll never let crime rest, unless he's late for lunch, or he's got a game to play, or there's some other important meeting he has. Then, crime can take a quick nap.

Background (optional):

Superpower: He has the innate, and urgent, ability to state the obvious around him. No matter what it is, he obviously has something obvious to say about it.

Hero? Or Villain?: Hero

Weakness?: His comic book collection. If anyone should touch it, he'll collapse into the ground in a fit of obvious statements.

Other: none

City name?: I personally like the name Backwoods Point.

Species: Hedgehog
Age: 14
Appearance: Looks like Sonic the Hedgehog, but red.
Personality: Loves writing fanfic, and is basically a generic Sonic fan. Kind of a nerd.
Superpower: Speed, flight (not really), strength (not really), ability to combine with Sonic, being the annoying fanguy, inserting himself into every time the day is saved
Hero or Villain: Hero
Weakness: If someone calls him an unoriginal fancharacter, he turns into a drawing and stays like that for an hour. Also, if someone mentions nose hair, he becomes a Lil' Sanic version of himself and gains the personality/(non-existent) thoughts of the Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo manga character Don Patch.
Other: Do not steal! The not really things, he thinks he has but doesn't.
City name: Station Square

Again, this leads back into my original claims. You have given me no information to lead off of telling me he's a parody of Sonic the Hedgehog. The only thing that's different is his name. The idea is to, rule 1, save the day in a comical way. But there's not much comical about a Sonic reskin. Not everyone will understand the joke. Unless you can make him obnoxious or something, that can't be seen in your character sheet and I can't accept him.

Funny thing is, I actually imagined him as a poorly drawn copy of Sonic the Hedgehog. Kind of like MariotehPlumber's drawings...

This looks like it should be fun

Name: Madame Egg (her given name is Zeta Knibbyhsu)

Gender: Female

Race: Alien from the planet Qub

Age: 5

Appearance: Like most Qubians, Madame Egg has bright green skin (it glows in the dark!), black eyes, and is about 9 feet tall. (So yes, she's like a cliche little green man kind of alien.) In an attempt to fit into the human world, she wears a short red wig and hot pink shutter shades that say "SWAGGY" on them.
When fighting crime, Madame Egg wears a neon spandex workout outfit (think 1980's style) with a picture of a fried egg on the front of it. The rest of the time she usually wears some sort of animal-print suit with a feather boa and fishnet tights. (Since the beings of Qub usually go naked, she doesn't have a great understanding of fashion.)

Personality: She's not really very nice, as one may expect from an alien egg tycoon. She has a bit of a superiority complex and only did the whole superhero thing because she was bored and thought it would make her look cool. (Not to mention, it'd bring in needed publicity to her egg restaurant.) As such, she's got a sharp tongue and likes hurting others with scathing words.

Background (optional): Madame Egg belongs to a race of hyper-intelligent, super powerful alien beings, but unfortunately had suffered a birth defect that left her with average intelligence and with no powers save for one: the power to lay eggs and cook them to perfection.
This power was useless on the planet Qub, because most Qubians are vegans; but she brought it to planet Earth, where she started a major breakfast restaurant chain and made her millions in Earth currency. Not knowing what to do with all the money, she looked to movies for ideas. The Batman movies gave her all the inspiration she needed for her new endeavor: being a superhero.

Superpower: She can lay eggs instantaneously, at will. She also has a sixth sense that allows her to cook them to perfection.

Weakness?: Dubstep music will, without fail, cause her to vomit, and, if exposed to the music for an extended amount of time, she will pass out.
