Do you think the people of the world of pokemon are, themselves, pokemon? Do pokemon evolve (in the Darwinian sense, not the customary definition of the games)? If pokemon of the same evoloutionary line are just older/younger specimens, are they considered the same species? what about Eevee?

Several times in the anime it's shown people getting hit with Pokeballs and nothing happens aside from a big shiner where the ball hit them followed by irritation. -------------------- [align=center]
