I think Diglett have tiny stubby claws, so they stay underground from embarrassment. There's like maybe another .1m under there, and it's just from stubby tiny claws.

But yeah, it's really strange it can learn Scratch and the likes of that.

Yeah, they can also learn Slash, Aerial Ace and so on, all on Bulbapedia, but i didn't thought it as important ^^;
