Name: Rachel Lore, 'The Coder'

Hometown: Canalave City, Sinnoh

Appearance: Rachel is 5" 1' and weighs 102 pounds. She has blonde wavy hair that goes to her shoulders, with long bangs that curl and hang at the sides. Her eyes are a teal blue that almost looks unreal. Her outfits have a great variety, but her main outfit for missions is a black long sleeved shirt, silver jeans, black boots, and a white cap. Some other normal-day outfits include a long purple dress with white flats, a pink T-shirt and navy jeans with pink sneakers, and a scarf with a green jacket, T-shirt, white jeans, and and brown tennis shoes.

Personality: Rachel believes that with teamwork, anything is possible. She often has a straight face, but her personality is generally happy. She loves telling jokes when she can, and also likes to show off her mad cooking skills. She loathes bad manners, such as elbows on the table and chewing with your mouth open. Rachel worries during bad situations, but tries to keep her cool on the outside.

Biography: Rachel grew up in Canalave City with her dad, her mom, and her three brothers. As a young girl, she enjoyed the idea of being a spy and often played with her siblings. Rachel would often go to the city's library and invent codes there to have her brothers solve. They soon gave her the nickname, The Coder, because of this.
When she was seven, she started helping Professor Rowan with his studies by going out with her brothers and watching them battle. He one day recieved some pokemon from the Unova region and gave the grass type to her, which was her first pokemon, a Snivy named Jaklyn. She then started battling herself, getting more and more knowledge of pokemon. When she turned fourteen, Rowan gave her a ticket to the Hoenn region. As she packed and said good-bye, her three brothers each gave her a pokemon. Her oldest brother Marcus gave her a Poochyena, her youngest brother Tyro gave her a Togepi, and her last brother Blake gave her a Torchic. She then left for the Hoenn region.
Rachel arrived open-minded for anything. She quickly went about to hear news of the region. It wasn't long before she picked up on some things Team Magma and Team Aqua were doing. She was quite shocked at them both, and wondered who might oppose them. She searched a long while before finding a bit of knowledge about the Rebellion. She joined the Rebellion when she met someone from their ranks.

Starting Pokemon:

Moves- Tackle, Leer, Vine Whip, Wrap
Ability- Overgrow

Jaklyn is a loyal but proud pokemon who is fond of dangling on the edge of branches and appearing as a leaf. She has been a good friend to Rachel all her life and, though she normally protects herself, would risk her own safety to help her trainer on missions. She helps the 'team' by finding berries and locating other objects, spying on others, and gathering info. She is sometimes called 'Scout' because of this. There was nothing special within her name. Jaklyn acts as leader of the team.

Poochyena, (Marcus), Lvl 12, ♂ (Male)
Moves- Tackle, Howl, Sand-Attack
Ability- Run Away

Named after the brother Rachel recieved him from, Marcus is a very bold but sneaky pokemon. He is always running off and has a hobby of tracking people and pokemon down with his good nose. He is otherwise a prankster, but still helpful to the 'team'. He is sometimes called 'Tracker'. He is the seargent of the team.

Torchic, (Blake), Lvl 11, ♂ (Male)
Moves- Scratch, Growl, Focus Energy, Ember
Ability- Blaze

Another pokemon named after the one from whom he was given, Blake is a soldier-like pokemon, always obedient and helpful in any way he can be. He is always trying to keep Marcus out of trouble, which seems impossible. He is nicknamed 'Stealth Master, because of his ability to sneak around un-noticed. He seems to be the lieutenant of the team.

Togepi (Togi), Lvl 11, ♀ (Female)
Moves- Charm, Growl, Metronome, Sweet Kiss
Ability- Serene Grace

One of two pokemon not named after a brother of Rachel's, Togi is a playful and cute pokemon who appears silly and even stupid, much to popular to belief. On the contrary, she is quite intelligent and uses her cute and stupid cover to distract people whenever Rachel is doing something sneaky, and is thus nicknamed 'Social Engineer'. She acts as deputy of the team.

Additional Notes: Rachel thinks of her pokemon as a 'team', and believes each pokemon and person has a job to do. Her attitude about this has rubbed off on the pokemon, creating them to act as a team with ranks and nicknames sometimes used by Rachel.
