So, like the title says, if you could make a novelty pokémon (most likely for a holiday), what would it be? For me, I'd go with a special, form changing pokémon given out for holidays celebrating the heritage of various countries. It would be a variation on an official pokémon that is said to have great pride in itself, and, on certain holidays, you can change its coloring to match a flag. For instance: on Cinco de Mayo, you can change it to match the mexican flag, the fourth of july, you can change it to match the American flag, on Saint Patrick's Day, you can change it to match the Irish flag, etc. Also, it could possibly have a few "joke" flag designs, such as the flag of the fictional micronation of Kickassia (A drawing of a soft-serve ice cream cone shooting lasers out of its eyes and firing machine guns up into the air, on a white background) on the anniversary of the creation of ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.

As for something (somewhat more) original, perhaps something that would prey on Octillerage, such as a somewhat humanoid Pokémon based on CD-i Link.

So, what odd ideas do you have?
