How many of you have been keeping up with the recent episodes?
How many of you remember May and Dawn battling against each other in that contest in Strategy with a Smile? And May LOSING to Dawn?! That infuriated me so much. May I thought should of won because: -She has more contest experience as does Glaceon -Glaceon was at a much higher level than Piplup -Whirlpool, one of Piplup's attack, does nothing for appeal points and Peck, the highest point count for Piplup, never connected -Glaceon moved effortlessly from using offensive to defense moves This could go on, but who else thinks that Glaceon should of won that battle? -------------------- Follow Shay-Shay's flight and he will bring you to a place where eggs and Pokemon need much love. Shaymin cares, do you?  |

The producers needed Dawn to win so that she "regains her confidence." Also, contests on the show and contests on the game are very different.

This was like... around January something...? The writers thought that Dawn should win this since she needs to regain that crushed confidence for the past other contests she went through... lmao, but hey, at least May defeated Zoey, in which Dawn still can't beat her yet... until the Grand Festival starts...
I don't see the spoiler in here. Where is it? This is old news imo... it's now some episode in Japan which I'm outdated at but involves Palmer and Barry now, iirc. I see there's still drama in this thing even though it's been months, which makes this issue so old... =/
I suppose it'll take time before everyone gets over this. Possibly 5 years from now, which a new hot item arises. Either way, I really don't give a damn about this episode. Well, May DID start out hating Pokemon all-together and therefore not knowing much about them, while Dawn was raised by a top coordinator. There is a small difference in the learning curve there.

Piplup is a raging mini-peguin who is egoistic and over-confident. Dawn's Piplup has too much pride and Glaceon should have won.
