This thread will be used for Temporary Trades (as the name suggests).

If you need to evolve a Pokémon that requires the Pokémon to be traded with someone, post here to request that someone help you out rather than make a new thread which could just be spammy.

Note: As BaS has brought up, if you put a pokemon on the ingame GTS, make another trade on the ingame GTS and then withdraw said pokemon, it'll evolve (if it's a trade evolution pokemon).

Moar Edits: Better yet, if someone else needs a temporary trade, you two can just pair up and kill two birds with one stone. (don't actually kill your Pidgeys with an evolution stone, though)

But the name doesn't matter. And I don't have AIM on this stupid computer.
I might just do the GTS trick if you don't have anything to evolve through trades, anyways.
EDIT: Already did the trick, but I might be doing the Magmortar/Electavire thing soon.

Only a Pokemon that have a different IDNo. than the Trainer in the game it's in can gain 150% experience. So, if the Pokemon has the same IDNo. and OT as the trainer in the game, it just gains the regular amount of experience.

You could try getting a Lucky Egg (held by wild Chansey sometimes), when a Pokemon holds that they gain 50% more experience (so if a traded Pokemon held one it would get 200% experience).

You can do trade evolutions by putting a pokemon on the GTS and taking it off right away.

Can't believe no one knew that <.<

You have to put a pokemon on the GTS.
Then trade with someone.
Then take it out.

Well that explains a lot. I must have traded over the GTS while I had a Machoke in there...and never got traded...so I took it back...

...!

You can put a trade evolution pokemon in the GTS, trade over the GTS with something else (go find some easy trades on the GTS...it IS possible, doesn't even need to involve the pokemon) and take the pokemon back. Wa la, you don't even have to register a friend code or even use other people.

So I may have revived this thread to break it a bit lol

I need to evolve my Shiny Clamperl into a Gorebyss, and I don't have a DeepSeaScale. Can anyone help me out? I know you can get 'em off of Relicanth, Chinchou, and Lanturn, but it's a 5% chance on all of 'em, and the most common of the three is Chinchou at 30% occurance. I don't want to go through 100 Chinchou if one of you can help me. If you can, please PM me, and use the second FC below.

I am looking to evolve my Graveler, and Machoke (listed below).
It's going to be hard trusting someone with them.
I have this fear someone is going to clone it, and send me back the clone.

I am also looking to evolve my Clamperl into Huntail.
If you want to trade it for a Clamperl holding a DeepSeaTooth/Scale that'd be fine too.

Not sure if someone helped already, but I'll answer anyway.
For Diamond and Pearl: You gotta have LeafGreen and Stark Mountain, and the Nat. Dex,then you have to go catch some Magby, they might have a magamarizer.
For platinum, It's on Route 214, somewhere on the rocky ledge, I don't remember.

I got it transfered to my Pearl, realized it wasn't the right nature, and bred it to find a Jolly Technician one which should work fine. I just need to evolve it again.

Anyway. i want to borrow a 3-4 lv.100 Pokemon on Platinum. Would also like to borrow an event-Gigas on Platinum, and a HG_Kyogre on my Soulsilver.

The Kyogre and Regigigas can be traded back as soon as i have gotten the Regi's and/or Rayquaza, but the lv.100's i want to borrow for a couple days. And no hacks!


Also, if you can either send me a message here, or find me in teh chat. Much easier to trade in a chat



EDIT: I don't have anything to give back.... But if someone has 4-5 Master Balls to give away, that would also be really nice

@ axanders: If you'd like to add something to your post (such as another Pokémon you'd like to evolve), there's an 'Edit'-button on the bottom right corner of your post. Please use that instead of double-posting! I merged all your (different) posts and deleted the ones that you posted more than once.

As for trading, what game are you playing?
If you have Pokémon X/Y or Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, you might find more responses in http://forums.gtsplus.net/index.php?showtopic=70297.
I'm doubtful about how many people are still trading in HG/SS/etc.
