Hang on guys. I just realized that Firefox is the only one that is smart with how it submits image inputs like that. I have to go find a fix real quick so until then the drop-down is back.

Whoo, I like this! I need to check my pokemon soon to see if they like all kinds of foods just so I can get lots of XP for them. Otherwise, I just hope I'm lucky and most of them like the Aspear berry, given a lot of people will be too lazy to choose one themselves and go with the default.

Great. It's working for me now. Thanks. I was slightly worried when it told me that I suddenly decided to starve my babies.
Now I have to go and smack Hajiji to tell me which berries to give to who, 'cause I don't remember anything. -------------------- |

I agree that this is a nice touch. However, I ended up stuck in the "clicking berry images doesn't do anything" camp... I have to say that I'm surprised that things get fixed this fast around here, though! In most places I've been to like this, no one would have noticed something was up until about the next day or so.

Just look at "Loved Pokeblock" on this chart.
http://www.serebii.net/games/natures.shtml Cheri = Spicy Rawst = Bitter Pecha = Sweet Aspear = Sour Chesto = Dry EDIT: Wymsy beat me to it. This post has been edited by Blak99Psy: Apr 22 2009, 04:43 PM -------------------- |

I think this is a great idea and all, but I dont really think its fair to all of the people who dont know which berry does what and stuff. Ohyeah, and I totally agree with the idea of adding the nature to the feeding page. Couldn't you say like, "This pokemon likes Rawst Berries" or something, though? I just dont think its fair to all the people who dont know. If the screen told you what to feed, then there really wouldn't be much point in adding the ability to choose between five berries in the first place. I don't like the idea of spoiling it outright like that, but I wouldn't be opposed to displaying the pokemon's nature on that page, maybe with a (?) link which you could click to get the same info you can already get on the info page. (likes dry food, likes sweet food, happily eats anything, etc.). That'd leave it as a trivial exercise as to what berry did what for what nature, but it wouldn't take the fun out of it entirely. -------------------- |

I've seen the natures are already in one of the columns where the party is displayed. (Maybe it's just me?) And the link to see the natures and food preferences is a couple of comments above. (Thank you, Wymsy and Blak99Psy!) Hope this was helpful.... -------------------- |

K, I decided to remove the interact page completely. Now you choose the option right there on the info page, that way you can see all its info at the same time (and its nature). I removed the 'No' option altogether as well (who ever clicks that anyways?). Enjoy.

I've seen the natures are already in one of the columns where the party is displayed. (Maybe it's just me?) Yes, I see that, but if I was not mistaken, the suggestion here was to place it on the interaction page. Which I can't say I'm opposed to, even if I can't say I feel it necessary. And the link to see the natures and food preferences is a couple of comments above. (Thank you, Wymsy and Blak99Psy!) Indeed, navigating to a third-party site whenever you need information is most certainly the best way to go about things. Hope this was helpful.... Not really. K, I decided to remove the interact page completely. Now you choose the option right there on the info page, that way you can see all its info at the same time (and its nature). I removed the 'No' option altogether as well (who ever clicks that anyways?). Enjoy. Ooh, awesome. This post has been edited by Blu Aardvark: Apr 22 2009, 05:26 PM -------------------- |

Indeed, navigating to a third-party site whenever you need information is most certainly the best way to go about things. Hey, they're an affiliate of ours. It's nice to send some traffic their way. I can't say I'm opposed to that. Just that it would be a tremendous inconvenience to have to pull up their page every time I had a query about Pokemon nature. Fortunately, that's not an issue any longer, which makes me happy inside. No offence, but there's no need to be rude. I'm sorry, I wasn't intending to come across as rude, and I expect that you were not meaning to come across as condescending. In either case, I don't intend to drag this discussion offtopic any further, so... yeah. Soz. -------------------- |
