Appearance: Sweets has a thin, lanky build with a height of about 5’8. His high checked, pale face would give a grim and dark appearance if there wasn’t a constant grin in place. With dark red hair slicked back and tufted at the front, sunglasses placed on the end of his pointed nose and sharp ears prominent, Sweets has the overall impression of someone hasty and quick. His clothes are usually mismatched and bright, say a yellow singlet and green jeans. He is sometimes seen with the odd cigarette hanging out of his mouth.

Personality: With a very joyful and uplifting aura, one could not possibly grin along with him. He laughs off insults and is very sarcastic. He is rarely ever angry, and rocks on the balls of his feat in battle, egging his Pokemon on and throwing sarcastic lines at his opponent. He likes to be around people, but finds comfort in being alone, adventuring in caves for rare Pokemon. If confronted with a difficult or frightening situation, he would run in the opposite direction as fast as he could.

Biography: Sweets grew up on the outskirts of Cerulean city in Kanto. He lived with his grandmother, his parents living in Sinnoh for “work reasons”. Sweets enjoyed his young life exploring the large caves and mountains near Cerulean, known as Mt Moon. His grandmother never let him catch Pokemon, let alone play with them. She encouraged him to do his school work and progress to the science field like his father supposedly did. He ignored her, and continued to search caves for Pokemon and rare rocks. One day, at the age of 16, Sweets was deep inside Mt Moon, filling his pockets with useless stones, when he came across a diamond sticking out of the rocky wall. Overcome with joy, he tugged at it with all he could. Unfortunately, it belonged to someone else. A giant Onix ,smooth and bulky, burst from the wall, enraged. Sweets had never been given or ever caught a Pokemon, so he was scared and defenseless. But then, another Onix,smaller than the other, charged up behind Sweets and flicked rocks with its little tale at the other Onix’s face. As it recoiled, the smaller Onix turned at Sweets and motioned him to jump on its back. He did so and was carried quickly out of the cave by the small Onix, who since then, became Sweets companion and helped him explore caves all over Kanto.

When he turned 20, Sweets moved to Hoenn to discover more Pokemon. Soon after arrival, a small bug Pokemon was being toyed and chanced by a small grey dog Pokemon. Sweets Onix, feeling the bug Pokemon shouldn't endure such torment, roared at the dog and scared it off. Sweets ran to the bug Pokemon and scanned its detail on his Pokedex. It turns out it was a Nincada, a small cicada like Pokemon. It quickly became affaectionet to him and his Onix because of the rescue, and joined Sweets team. Sweets headed for a Pokemon Center nearby, but two men in matching red cloaks and hoods stop in his path. They proclaimed he go no further, or they would use force. Eager for a battle and oblivious to who these people really were, he challenged them. The men both revealed their Pokemon, a Shiftry and a Mightena. Both Pokemon charged at Sweets, and before he could even proclaim the unfairness, he was knocked off his feet. His Onix and Nincada tried to defend him, but both were knocked out clean. Scooping up his Nincada and returning Onix to his Pokeball, he turned and fled, back to the boat he arrived on. He had no choice but to return to Kanto.

Now, at the age of 28, Sweets is heading for Furoh, a region he only just discovered. He hopes not to bump into any meddling people, or this time he will have to give them the ol' a- ONE TWO!

Sorry, but we only deal in canon pokemon; no crystal onix please.

The bio could be bigger, considering it only deals with one event when he was 16. What happened before he was 16 (ex. why didn't he go on the pokemon journey like most kids?) What happened during the next twelve years (ex. how did he meet his nincada)? Why did he decide to go to Furoh of all places?
