Ever spend days and weeks searching for that one rare egg you've been wanting, only to have it escape your grasp each time you find it?
And then...finally...that one time you grab it, you feel SO happy and relieved that you were finally able to snag that precious egg... Then go back into the shelter to look for a new egg, and what do you see? That rare egg you JUST got is just sitting there in the shelter, no matter how many times you refresh. It just won't go away. You feel so cheated, because it evaded you for so long, and now it's just coming back over and over just to tease you. If only it had done this before! I could have gotten this egg so much sooner. First it was Gible and Riolu for me...until I realized they were actually quite abundant in the shelter- I just had a hard time getting one. And now it's Wynaut. I had NEVER seen the egg before I got mine, and I felt SO lucky to grab it for myself. But now it's there EVERY time I go to the shelter!! I keep wanting to click it because I KNOW I searched for it for so long, but then I have to remind myself that I already have it. Ughhhh What eggs are you experiencing this with? Also, isn't it strange how some eggs just keep appearing for some people, but others can't seem to ever spot one? What's up with this? --------------------      I always click back when I can! It really seems to be just about whatever Pokemon I want I can't find then after I get it they are all over the place. I wanted Bulbasaurs so bad so I could get one of each evolution and they never showed up!! I finally found 3 of them and decided I should go for three Charmanders next (which I saw all the time when I didn't want one) now I see tons of Bulbasuars and no Charmanders.....I can never seem to find Turtwig either

It happens with every elusive egg I pick up.
Kind of annoying really - the people joining the site now have it so much better than we did in the old days. I remember when the word 'rare' actually meant something. You'd jump for joy if you came across as much as ONE rare egg - now the buggers are all over the place. *sigh* --------------------  |

That happened to me with Treecko. Now when I actually wanted one it was nowhere to be found. I see it all the time in the shelter now.

My Igglybuff. I was frantically (well, not quite) looking for one, and when I finally found one I was HAPPEEEEEEE
But now whenever I look specifically for one, it's easy. Just refresh once or twice and BOOM it's there. Also, my Porygon. Happened with Trapinch for me. I had only ever seen ONE in the shelter before I got mine, then poof, they started appearing ALL THE TIME.
I wanted to punch a baby in frustration. :\ It also happened with Togepi and Skarmory. Spent an eternity and a half searching for 'em both, then when I FINALLY got once, they were abundant as hell. What a ripoff... I'm just glad that Piplup didn't become super common after I finally got one, I would have been SUPER mad if that happened... I actually caught a hatched Wynaut in the shelter XD
I remember when I was trying to find Treecko for my starters and one night I finally found one but then the next day there they were, no matter how long I refreshed. -------------------- |

Happiny was like that for me. I have been checking the shelter for weeks trying to find one and whenever I am in there, there are NEVER any. Finally got one and now I see at least one a day.
The Wynaut thing is the same for me. It kind of makes sense though because people will request that certain egg and then a bunch of breeders will try to produce them. --------------------    |

That's ALWAYS happening with me. But maybe the reason is: if you spent days looking for an egg, but didn't get it, then it starts being common, your chances get bigger. You get surprised at the first time 'cuz you tought ithe egg was still rare, but it isn't anymore...
