So, my first batch of eggs have all hatched, at this point. I figured I'd get a couple of males, since the odds were all 50/50 for them to turn out that way. ...nope, all female. I'm half-expecting my new Azurill egg to turn out the same way...
Anyways, purpose of the topic is to see if anyone has had an entire party of eggs hatch female, male, or if I'm just a chick magnet. -------------------- |

I "attract" them both. But I've realized that I haven't yet set up my gender. And my friend keeps getting females because she said she was one. So we ended to the conclusion that the gender of pokemon depends on our own gender (well.... the one we put ;D)
So for now she's a male to see if she'll get males pokemon. Maybe it's not connected either, but we though it was funny. This post has been edited by Nichaling: Apr 5 2009, 11:49 AM -------------------- |

I've noticed most of my new hatchlings have been female too. 4 / 6 of my current crew are female, with Nidoran and Rattata being the only boys.
I may change my gender to male as well, to see if that does indeed make a difference. -------------------- |

I guess the Pokemon need an, uhm, guiding hand when it comes to gender. I'm going to switch myself to male to see if it really does affect things.

I always get a pretty even balance, but I think I have slightly more males than females. XD

So far, all of my pokemon have been female except for one. I didn't have my gender set when they hatched either. I guess it's some weird luck!
