Talk about whatever you want, whether it's GPX related or something going on in your personal life, just be sure to read the rules first before posting. There's always someone on the forums to read and respond to your posts, so chat away and maybe you'll meet some great people!

Rules

• Regular forum rules still apply here. Basically don't double post. Don't ask for clicks every time you fill your party. Unless it gets out of hand*, I'm okay with you linking to an exploration Pokemon who needs a specific berry.
  
  *out of hand meaning I don't want to see Pokémon being linked just for leveling or if they need drinks for happiness. These kinds of interactions can be handled just fine by being in your parties and signatures.
  
  
• Do not post your shinies here, there's a http://forums.gtsplus.net/index.php?showtopic=5491 for that. Discussing them is OK though! Just make sure you add content to your post.
  
  
• Make sure your post contains worthwhile content. If you're posting an exploration Pokémon to be fed berries then be sure to add other content to your post. Same with discussing shinies. Find people to reply to or start a discussion yourself! Your post must, with the shiny portion and berry feeding hypothetically removed*, not read as if you're talking to yourself. To clarify, your post should not be an out-loud thought to yourself, and should contain more general discussion than just information on your current shiny luck.
  
  *if you were to read your post, skipping over any mention of shinies, the post should still sound like a good post.
  
  If any posts are found breaking this rule then they will be instantly deleted and handed a 10% warn.
  
  
• Do not post your GPX+ gear grinders in this thread either. There's also a http://forums.gtsplus.net/index.php?showtopic=49472 for that. This is mostly for raging at staff or site events that you don't like.

Monthly Raffle

Nominations are now gone, and I'm using post count to determine how many entries you have into the raffle. The first 19 posts you have will count as one entry, and every ten after that will count as an extra. Think of it as the first number of your post count is how many entries you have. To see what your post count is, click on the number of replies any certain thread has. Nothing else on the site will influence the amount of entries you receive, so if you'd like a chance to win, then post here frequently!

The raffle is what chooses who gets to choose what's in next month's egg distribution. There are no other site advantages other than that, and even then the whole site gets a chance at that Pokémon that you chose!

How to get an egg from this event

• You must keep at least one slot open in your party.
• You MUST have logged in sometime on GPX+ in the last two weeks.
• You can not be in the restricted group.

IMPORTANT EVENT NOTES

1. No, you do NOT have to be online at the time I am sending out eggs.
2. These eggs do NOT show up in the Lab for the event. They are sent out randomly.
3. There is ONE set shiny for each Pokémon, but every other egg has a regular chance of being shiny.
4. If you obtain ONE of the eggs from this event, you will NOT be able to obtain another one from this same event. This means if you get an egg on day 1 of this event, you can't get an event egg from any other day during this event. By the way, abandoning an event egg does nothing. So if you get one you might as well keep it and be happy.
5. If we find any accounts being made just to get eggs from the event then they will be immediately banned along with your main.
6. If you were a winner of the raffle, your chosen Pokémon will be spawned into your party on the day of the event. It won't be forced shiny, but there's always a small chance just like any other egg! This will not count as an event egg and you can still receive one from the event.
7. There is no guarantee that you'll receive an egg.
8. Eggs chosen will not be available to pick from again for 3 months. If x egg was in the January egg distribution, then it can not be chosen again until April.
9. The event runs at 4 p.m. server time.

Event dates and what's being handed out

• May 2nd: Diancie - Winner: Running on Ice - 200 eggs
• May 3rd: Fake Groudon - Winner: Natsume Reiko - 200 eggs
• May 4th: Yveltal - Winner: Gryphaena - 200 eggs
• May 5th: It expresses its feelings by smacking its scales. Metallic sounds echo through the tall mountains where this Pokémon lives. ~ Jangmo-o ~ 200 eggs
• May 6th: A guardian deity of the Alola region. Touching them is said to restore good health immediately. ~ Tapu Lele ~ 200 eggs

Happy may! I will definitely be waiting for the 5th. I'm almost positive I know what pokemon it is and would love to get it. Although a chance for a shiny fake groudon would be good but I can wait for that.

Just managed to defeat Red. Second try. Was at a stand still at the end with venusaur and my ferrothorn. Had to use swords dance a few times to keep doing some damage since it kept healing itself.

So now it's May. I can't say I am missing April. Snow on one day and hot weather the other day is nothing for me
Really hoping for thia month that our house will get finished so we can start moving things from our current flat. There will be so much to decorate and new furniture to choose. I am looking forward to it.

I just started the Diancie exploration. Was hoping for it because it should be the last I am missing for the achievement and I need the egg dex entry as well.

Hard decision with the monthly distribution though. I did hope for Xerneas, because I am also missing its egg entry, but two mystery eggs sounds even better! Hopefully I will remember to leave a slot open the right days only.

I think I'll risk it and just hold out for her. I mean, Jangmo-o can breed and Lele can't. I'd much prefer Fini and Bulu being the only Tapu's I'd need if we ever get a Tapu exploration

I don't know why it would be Jangmo-o in the first place. Yes, the hints make it seem like it is, but I don't think it would be classified as Very Rare or Novelty. And I don't believe we've had a distribution pokemon that WASN'T in those two categories. Idaknow. I guess we'll see.

The first mystery egg is definitely Jangmo-o, the description is it's dex entry for Sun word-for-word, so it probably is because it's a pseudo-legendary.

April was such a busy month for me. First two weeks were filled with tests and assignments, then the next two I was on holiday. Kinda glad to be back into my normal routine now :P

May also means that my birthday is coming up Same day that Fire Emblem Echoes is released here, so doubly looking forward to it!

It also looks like May is going to be bringing me some baby birdies too...my breeding pair of lovebirds are sitting on eggs at the moment :> Should hatch in a couple of weeks!

Will still be working on DotW as my exploration for this month. At first I saw Diancie in the distribution and thought I'd go for that, as I need a second for my living dex. But now I think I'll hold out for the mystery on the 6th

And also, Guardians of the Galaxy vol.2 is amazing

Since I've been active these past few days I think I van finally lift my semi-hiatus that I implemented without telling anyone because this is who I am, mom its not a PHASE. But, I did good at clicks these past few days, especially because I've been sitting around and actually relaxing for once. Mobile gpx ftw!! Idk how I've managed to continue my shiny a month streak the past four months or so, but I'm grateful.

Gonna try to aim for the Tapu. Chances are I'll be able to get the moo egg in a few days after its release because I know y'all are gonna breed it so. . .

its too early to make decisions abt explorations. @_@ distribution was easy but now I gotta weigh my options. I don't think I've done diance's tho

It will be a busy month for a lot of people it seems. I have my new job to start this month, bike riding, getting Azriel into a new routine with a babysitter. All of these changes for the better. I am so looking forward to everything.

I have to watch hitch hiker's guide to the galaxy again. I haven't seen it in so long. That will be the next movie we get. Going to tell Geno about national towel day

Azriel woke up cranky this morning, turns out he has a fever. I think he just has a cold. He very rarely gets sick. No puking so that's good. Just watching minions with him.

Hello dudes, I got a question. I tired to vote in the State-Wide Shiny Hunt and it tells me this: "You aren't eligible to vote! To be able to vote, you must have registered before the vote opened, validate your account, and become a member."

What exactly am I doing wrong because, as far as I can tell, I have done all of those.

Then I got lazy and selected Vulpix and Grimer too. I didn't feel like looking through the list as my favorite Alola Pokemon aren't around yet

My Pichu shiny hunt is currently at 951 eggs. At this point I don't want it to end because I want the Determined achievement. All this because I want a female shiny Pichu haha!

This has actually happened to me before too. I think it's just chance. I oftentimes get double korechus in a day, but I've gotten double chests and double hoopas before. I don't know what causes it - just luck, I guess.

I voted for Tepig, Basculin Red and Magby. I also doubt that anything that's not a gen 7 Pokemon will get chosen, but those are old cancelled hunts of mine I want to finish :P I'm in a bit of a shiny drought at the moment...only hatched one in the last two months! So I'm willing to hunt anything to change that haha.

I have some fun things planned in May - I'll be visiting the Harry Potter exposition that's now in the Netherlands, with actual objects from the movies. Looking forward to it! I also have a team outing with my colleagues - it's still a surprise what we'll be doing, but I suspect laser games will be part of it! Excited about that.

For this month's SWSH, I voted for Snorunt, Castform and Minior [Meteor].
I need multiple shinies of all three, so it would be great to hunt those during a SWSH.

I don't really care which pokemon are going to be the SWSH pokemon, since I only need six Shards spread out over four Plates: 2 with 1 Shard left, 2 with 2 Shards left.

As for the distribution? I'm not going to intentionally lock myself for the 2 Mystery pokemon even though it it very likely that they will be new Alola pokemon. With everyone who WILL be locking themselves, and the lower chances of getting one with the drop from 350 to 200, it might mean I don't end up getting any of them.

And also? I HAD missed one of the Daily pokemon in Shuffle, but I ended up catching it. As well as all the new ones for this week. And I ended up getting a Vulpix for checking in. No clue why. But I was lucky and caught the escalation Incineroar at level 7. I'm still playing that level though, so I can get the prizes.

I am hoping my local Fox channel will be back on DirecTv by tonight. I missed last night's episode of Gotham because of it. But tonight is Prison Break. And while it's possible I might be able to catch the Gotham episode in a second airing, since Prison Break is a limited, it's not very probable they will air the episode a second time.

This will the first SWSH I'll be on the site for when it starts as I actually made an account a long time ago, but forgot about it up until mid march when the Oricorio was already under way. I wish I peeked here before I voted as Cutiefly was the only one I felt strongly about in my list. I threw in Murkrow and Sandygast because I had them in mind for future shiny hunts I want, but a shiny Froslass if I was lucky enough to hatch a female would have been cool.

As for this month I guess I'll just keep trying to plug through explorations and achievements. I'd love to try and do some of the special explorations, but I'm short on requirements so maybe I'll just continue attempting to get the badge achievements in the meantime. Also, maybe the two shiny hunts I've been working on for a Kingdra and Wooper, but honestly I'm looking forward to the SWSH as a little break from balancing those two.

I've actually been there, it's pretty cool. There's also a lot of stuff you can only see from certain perspectives so be sure to take your time.
The goods are super expensive, though!! So if you want some, bring as much cash as you would if you were to go to a con.

fates was my first experience in the fire emblem games. i liked it a lot, but i guess i haven't played any other installments to be able to properly comment. there was a lot of awful shit in it, however (ahem, that one f!corrin outfit...). i literally bought all 3 games and dlc just because i fell in love with xander .

My first experience was with Awakening, which lend to playing and purchasing some of the older games.
With Fates I was unhappy with it's execution of the story and character development. It was a step forward in gameplay and two steps back in story compared to Awakening, in my opinion at least.

Fates also divided a lot of the community when it first release because of the... questionable content it had... that was not a fun time. =A=

I'd definitely recommend playing Awakening if you like Fates.

I know how that feels. I love when characters' personalities just shine through and start writing themselves. Conversations rarely go the way you expect them to, but the directions they wander into once they take a life of their own are fantastic.

I was writing a ton last month, but I've run out of speed and now I'm puttering along on embers. My next chapter's so close to being done, but I just can't bridge the gap.

So I finally finished my essay today and it's due tomorrow. Pretty pleased, I managed to knock out 1600 words this morning and i don't even know HOW I did it. It's on the ethical challenges on the diverse ways in which people use plants and animals and then critically discuss the role of the modern biologist in context.

Aka everything has ethical issues, we need to fix them. It started out very philosophical, though. Quoting Plato, Aquinas and talking about virtuism and how that's the basis for modern day ethics ha. I better get a good mark for this bc it's using outside stuff

Haven't really been about much aha. Barely talking on Discord too, which, by the way you guys should also join because it's nice to chat in real time.

I finally finished my Shiny Emolga hunt in 1487 eggs the other week, and before that I hatched a Shiny Chocolate Miltank and a second Dracowymsy. Both random grabs and Miltank was a random corruption so I'm pretty pleased about that. For my hunt this week I'm throwing in a 135 IV'd Golurk (once it's leveled up) and according to the Poké Hunt, people have gotten R1 with a 133/134 IV'd Golurk before now so fingers crossed I can get my last Earth Shard.

I'm still rocking through my DOTW run from March and missed out on April explorations, oops. Time just isn't on my side lately..

I'm trying for Tapu Lele on the 6th Jangmo-o would be my primary but seeing as it can be bred I'm not going to try for it.

On the last task for dotw then I can do the monthly explorations and then my last run with the Swsh - super excited!

Then I'll start cracking down on last achievement I need to do which is Master Commuter and hopefully start getting the last of the trinkets I need. Need to make a comprehensive list of all the shinies I want left too. Currently Chingling is giving me quite the hassle since no one is breeding but me xD

I'm honestly running out of stuff to do. I guess seven years on the site will do that to you. Really can't believe I've been playing that long.

I think last time I've entered a 144 IV Golurk it was only rank 2. I have no idea if placing also depends on the type though. It's been a ghost hunt as far as I remember.
My best hatch for this weeks hunt is a 125 IV Pupitar. I am not even positive to get any rank at all. Maybe a consolation prize

Level has nothing to do with rank
IV, evolution, and gender are the only things that affect it from what I remember. Like Female Eevee doing better than male Eevee since it's gender is rarer. All you really need to do is fully evolve it

I got Rank 2 with a 141 Dugtrio, which isn't bad considering that it's a common.

Egg steps and rarity also affect Poke Hunt. And shininess, of course.

I've started hunting both Illumise and Volbeat.
They're tricky to find. Trying to get them up to 15 so I can use Hunt Power and pick them up from the Lab.
I sometimes find them in the morning (for me, at least), so I know there's someone breeding them.
As for me, I'm still breeding Purple Kecleon. I try to match him with other Pokémon from the Ground Egg group, to make the Shelter a little bit more varied. Currently hunting + breeding Torkoal.

What do you guys have in your Daycare at the moment?

Looks like I got a Jangmo-o from the event, SWEET. I wanted it or whatever tomorrow's egg was, so I'm happy I got one of them. It won't hatch shiny, but I might give my Zergoose pair a break in the Daycare for a few days. I still have 7 shiny Zangoose and 0 shiny Zergoose, one day they'll give me the shiny I want.

I'm so glad I finished the Zekrom exploration on the first day. I lucked out on the Timburr task because at the time I was the only one doing it. I've released my Timburr from my pc to the shelter, so keep an eye out. It was actually the fastest time I've done that exploration, it took me 31 minutes and 7 seconds.

Well the past couple days I've had the stomach flu. I was off from work yesterday so I spent my whole day stuck in the bathroom, today is pretty much the same thing. I took today off as well to try and recover, I don't think my coworkers would appreciate the stomach flu. I just hope that it is gone tomorrow, I really cannot afford to lose work.

I've finished my exams, yay! Second year of college, all done. I'm very pleased, I even think I passed everything :P The weather's been nice, so i may head off to the beach if it's still sunny tomorrow before I go home. It's nice to be free

I also got the Jangmo-o egg, so that's good. I hope it hatches female, my Kommo-o in Moon is female. As for what's in my daycare, it's been Ditto x Magma Totodile since forever - i'm about 420 eggs into that hunt. >_>

That egg looks way too similar to Cutiefly's imo. I just saw a Cutiefly in the shelter and nearly jumped, thinking it was a Jangmo-o(Even though it's too early for one to possibly be in there)
I feel like I'm going to get it confused with Cutiefly, like I always did with Meowth and Abra when I was looking for Golden Bonsly. lol

Yeah, I have like 30 repels left from when I stockpiled back in the last Alola batch.
But I don't really want to spam repel for just one egg. I did memorize and write down the description just in case I feel like looking for it though. I'd like to save the repel for whenever the final batch arrives. Cause being able to narrow down my options for the vouchers is nice, or narrow down how much I have to click that day to afford them all.

Given that you need the dex entry in order to vote for it, I think it is unlikely enough people can vote for it before the votes are counted.
The egg would have to spread pretty quick plus users would have to change their votes.
It's not impossible though.

I enjoy shiny colors that are dramatically different from the regular colors, like this one.

Though, random comment - I liked the older, more generic egg descriptions that we got for gens 1-4. Color pattern and hint at type/egg steps involved. The newer ones tend towards saying very unique things about the Pokémon, which... I mean, different tastes and all, but I sometimes feel like more personality is ascribed to an egg than strictly necessary.

Also, it makes spotting my summons in the lab harder (my flag is usually 'long description', and a lot of the newer ones are also getting very long descriptions that throw me off.' :P I also miss when (nearly) all legends had the keyword 'bizarre.' Zorua and Cryogonal getting that word really confused me. I guess I'm just old-fashioned.

I was able to get me a Jangmo-o egg from the Shelter, though. She's already hatched and is sticking around for a bit to level up for evolution purposes.

My newly installed internet connection is horrible... I'm trying to install The Sims 4 - first Origin has to update which is taking FOREVER. I'm trying not to think about the fact that The Sims 4 itself probably will need updating too, once it's installed. I really gotta get that looked at soon.

I gotta say. I regret my decision to like Dragon type pokemon when I end up with a party of them and they are 10k... trying to get a fresh Ditto so I can breed out a bit so I can have Jangmo-o/Jangmo-o pair for a bit "smoother" breeding. Also because I prefer same species pairs. Also it's nicer if I get a shiny from the pair and it's set up like that

I think I'll get the room because I lost it but the guy came back to me so I think something happened (and he seemed more keen so fingers crossed) - the job is just some waiter thing at a place called Turtle Bay, so it'd be nice to get that. Would be my first waiter job so we'll see. I'm fed up of working in a food store (boring as hell) so something where I'm constantly busy is something I'd actually enjoy.

I filled my party with heartdragons + tapu and my shiny volc so a shiny would be nice imagine shiny tapu

I had the same idea with the mobile walker, but in my case it was because I was going out to dinner. We live kind of in the middle of nowhere, so I always get good gains with the mobile walker whenever I go anywhere. Sorry to hear your son's been keeping you up, though.

I managed to get a Shiny Kyurem, long before Sam did, so maybe I can beat you to this too. But you're way ahead of me so far!

Today was a beautiful day here, so we went into town and I took my younger sister to a funfair that was on, which wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be (she can pretty annoying, especially now she's in her teens ) and took a walk around the lake. Very enjoyable. Had plenty icecream too

I usually try to not get my hopes up to high because I would be quite disappointed when I do and it's not shiny.
Last month I got Shaymin from the distribution and it wasn't shiny. I thought I could as well just start a real hunt and summoned another one. Found it in the lab just in time before someone else had found it and... It was shiny!
It's my first shiny legendary since '09.
Hopefully you'll get yours soon, too!

GPXPlus isn't something I mind getting my hopes up over because I'm not hugely invested in any individual pokemon, and all legendaries are things I can get again (with the exception of Arceus...es, but I'm still used to the days when Arceus only dropped in the lab anyway.) Eventually, RNG will be kind to me. I'll just keep buying my Corruption Orbs and Adamant Orbs until then, and summon whatever else comes my way.

My Tapu wasn't shiny (neither was Primal Dialga #122), but it sure is pretty. Though its description bothers me (in-game as well) - 'guilelessly cruel' is a strange conglomerate of words. I can get guileless and cruel being separate traits, like something naïve that will tear the wings off butterflies out of curiosity, but 'guilelessly cruel' sounds like 'cruel without any attempt to pretend otherwise.' Which makes me think of Tapu Lele the forum troll. But while that also makes sense (naked cruelty, not trolling), it's strange to conflate that with a Pokemon whose special power lies in healing people.

I changed one of my SWSH votes to Jango (Yeah I cheated I don't know his name lol). Hopefully people breed and hatch enough to want to do the same buuuut alas I have a feel that will not happen xD

I recently narrowed down a list of shinies I still want on the site - going through EVERY pokemon to decide. Including the new generation, I have 56 to go - not including noveltites - if I really feel that determined whiiich I don't know.

I bought a ton of ice cream today. I'm on a huge sugar kick lately. Probably eating way more sweets then is probably healthy for me buuuut ah well 8D

He said I should definitely be going too, so maybe next Sunday he'll be taking care of our little boy and I can see the movie.

Yes! Please please please please go watch Guardians of the Galaxy 2, right now! It is AMAZING!! I went to see it with my 3 best friends. Only one of them could make it, but we had a wonderful time anyway.

I don't get to see them that often these days, since I'm currently in college and they're still in high school. But we still talk to each other through text and make plans to see each other whenever we can. I miss them so much

Ugh, my new computer doesn't like me very much just yet.
There is something with the internet connection that I can't figure out. It's just very unreliable.
There's a mechanic coming over to check it out on Saturday.
I also tried installing The Sims 4. It had to download and update (both needs the internet to happen), it literally took days to complete. But then it finally finished, and I tried to start it... another error. Before I figured out the solution to yet another problem, and it finally worked, it was time to go to bed because I had work the next day. Slightly frustrated there, but I know I'll have more time to play tomorrow. ^^

@ Alex Mercer: Thank you for the nice words of appreciation earlier.
@ The other people that commented on the sprites: Glad you like them!

As for the Guardians of the Galaxy 2, I really want to see that one sometime, I enjoyed the first one too.

You need to cancel the ongoing hunt and start it as a SWSH. The normal cooldown won't apply.


The Birthday Massacre is coming out with a new album in about a month. I wasn't really excited by the preview tracks, but I guess we'll see. And my favorite Vocaloid producer, GHOST, has two new songs in the works right now. One of them's supposed to go up in the next few days, apparenty.

Random, but does anyone know if there's a way to feed drinks/increase happiness of a pokemon without putting it in your party? I have two level 25s in the Battle Tower that I'd like to Mega Evolve. However, if I put them in my party for even a second, they'll be fed/given views, and then they won't fit in the 1-25 bracket I use them for.

One has high IVs and the other was a Mawile from before the Fairy type was released and thus has Iron Head, so hard to replace and irreplaceable respectively.

@Eponadis: I don't think anybody answered your question, but no, if you have a normal hunt for something that's a Site-Wide Shiny Hunt option you'll have to finish your hunt first. You could cancel it, which would be counterproductive.

Also I didn't get the job. Oh well.

One of the best Marvel movies in a long time. (Not counting Logan, that movie is in a category of it's own. I'd also recommend watching it too.)

My 8 year old desktop died last night (Hard drive failure), and my laptop had some difficulty starting this evening (didn't boot into windows, a chkdisk worked). Most of my important shit is backed up, so I'm not too too worried, it's more being able to access my stuff that's an issue (mainly the streams I watch). Thankfully the rest of the parts for my new computer are in the process of shipping.

Regarding my question, Telethia Plume said there is no cooldown to start the SWSH on the same species after canceling a normal hunt. So it would just reset the egg-count, which I can live with.
I mainly wanted to make sure there is no cooldown that would make me loose some days where I cannot start with the SWSH, just in case.

My first Fire Emblem game was also Awakening, and I loved it so much I've also started playing some of the older games, but haven't actually finished them ^^" I still enjoyed Fates, not as much as Awakening though. I've only finished Birthright...got 4 chapters left in Conquest, and then time for Revelations! Not sure that's going to be done before Echoes :P

My bf has started me watching Doctor Who, and I'm loving it Something I've wanted to start watching for a long time, just never gotten around to it.

Managed to take my lovebird's eggs out of her nest for a quick inspection yesterday...looks like 5/6 of them have babies in them ^^" I'm going to be very busy raising those little guys in a couple of weeks!

Completed both special explorations this month, grabbed Zapdos and Zekrom. I also managed to barely get the Speed Reader achievement. Most of the three hours was waiting for users to feed Wooper, but I managed to get to the "find the exploration item" with fifteen minutes to spare. I finished clicking every single user online today and then some, and got the item with just over a minute left.

I'm going to attempt the "complete three explorations in one day" achievement now since there's a bit of time left.

EDIT:

Not only did I get that, I also found a shiny Zorua while looking for a Poké Hunt 'mon. Today was pretty great.

Geno took Azriel to see guardians of the galaxy today with one of his friends from work. His first movie theater movie and he loved it. He got a groot head popcorn bowl and an icee. He was using the chair as a slide. They went to the early showing and there was a bunch of kids about his age there. He had a blast. I start my new job tomorrow. Looking forward to it and nervous. Takes me awhile to get used to people and my job.

I managed to complete DOTW and the Resh/Zek exploration, and I'm up to date with the new eggs and Pokémon, so it's back to doing the Arceus

Decided I'm staying up all night tonight because the last few days I've been waking UP at 3pm.. which I can't keep doing. I'm hopefully seeing the room I'm more or less moving into later on today, so I'm hoping I get it. It'll be one HUGE issue crossed off my list!

Well I finally decided to start up dotw again. Cause I have SEVERAL plates ready to use, and finally got all the Unown so I have no rush..... unless Alola Pokemon get explorations next month lol

I still need to do Burning Desire just once, just to have completed them all.... maybe after I use up my complete plates. Just so my Pokedex is filled up a bit more.
Unfortunately it'll never be 100% complete though cause the battling here is too hard for somebody like me to understand apparently, so Furfrou formes will be locked out for me forever.

I ended doing a spreadsheet with the NPC pokemon and experimenting with various pokemon teams, writing down the pokemon who were more effective against the opponent's. I managed to get 6 out of 9 combs. Still having problems to get the Matron, Dandy and Debutante combs.

Beside site events I think the only other way to get some prize points is through the VS Seeker, but that's a huge gamble.
You'll need to win the Diamond division 4 times to get the 8 you need. That's 1,000,000 points or more for entry fees.

SO I accidentally just got shiny alola rattata... so I changed THAT vote to Drampa xD So now its Drampa, Mimikyu and Jango (I am so naming my shiny Jango whenever I get one).

this is the irony of the ages. Rattata has always been a bit easy for me to get. when doing the "get a specifically natured rattata" achievement (and this was before pass powers allowed you to influence nature), I ended up getting two shinies while doing so - and it didn't even take that many eggs to do it either!

And now, I just randomly grab an alola egg so the eggs in my party would all hatch roughly at the same time and she hatched shiny! I dunno what it is about rattata but they sure do like me when it comes to being shiny xD


Edit: Oh gosh, I just thought of this - I wonder, once all the gen 7 are released, if we are gonna do a dress up comepetition with them! That would be fun

WAAH! I finally got her! Shiny Burmy female!

This is the silliest thing ever, because the burmy's are not incredible shinies or anything.

But long ago, after a ban drop, my first every shiny I managed to snatch from the shelter was Shiny Wormadam (grass). I named her Buttercup, after the power puff girls and said that eventually I would get the Ground and Steel ones to name Bubbles and Blossom - because the colors were just too ironic.

But you know how you always think of these kinda of hunts but never really commit to them? Heh, that's kind of what happened to this one.

But when the Burmy SWSH started, I decided it was finally time to do it and ended up going for Bubbles next. I think I got a male first then a female. And then went for Blossom. Got another male and never got the female. Buuut luck finally hit and I got her, so now I have the whole team!

to be fair, Grimer and Rattata probably got more than the other Alola Pokemon cause they're right at the top of the list like Ninetails and Sandshrew are.

It's a damn shame that Snorunt didn't make it, maybe once the excitement of gen 7 is over and done with.
Already have Alolan Sandshrew, so I'll go for the other two; wish I went with Grimer first instead of locking myself into Vulpix immediately. Will be breeding Grimer throughout the SWSH though.

I actually have a soft spot for Wormadan. When I got Diamond I didn't realise that the evolutions were gender exclusive at first so I kept mine in my party for so long.... Until i learned the truth and was like "aw heck I'll just take you to the Pokemon league." Might have been a dumb decision but I think everyone has at least one unusual Pokemon on one of their teams, yeah?

Why? It ALWAYS does that, to my recollection. Users vote until specific day, votes are locked in, next day the Hunt starts. It might be different for the times when the user base doesn't vote, but I can't remember that at the moment.

My old work gave me a amazon gift card and a funny card. Walked into the office and it was the first thing I saw. Made me crack up.

Went to the flea market today and got a haul. Azriel got a remote control fire truck and digger. The fire truck really squirts water. He loves them. His mamawl brought them for him. He also got a batman play set that I got him with a batman, robin and batman's motocycle. Only $12. The play sets are usually $50 in the store. My mom got me a stuffed small sableye and a bigger stuffed alola vulpix. They are not official but so cute. We're going to the better flea market tomorrow and might find some stuff there. I didn't spend that much today and still have a bunch left over.

Alola grimer hunt is going. My pair haven't bred any shinies yet. Hoping to move onto vulpix soon.

Weirdest Pokémon I took to the league was Onix, in Diamond. When I first got that game, I had no idea what any of Gen 4's pokemon were, and I didn't really like many of their designs, so my team ended up being a lot of the older-gen pokemon I could find; I definitely remember that I had a Rapidash too. The Onix was considerably weaker than all the other team members, and I didn't have anyone to trade with to make it a Steelix, so it just kind of stayed there while the other 'mons did the hard work.

I liked Grimer's shiny; but Alola Grimer's shiny I don't super care for. It's a weird sort of conundrum because honestly they are just color swapping so I really shouldn't lose any love over it but... welp.

SO! We have these ads that play on the radio over here from a fast food chain that has gotten into this weird habit of asking these really difficult questions to answer and then they go into their spiel about how "Well at Del Taco you don;t have to make these decisions!"

But the questions are actually pretty cool so I figured maybe some of you might like answering them:

1. Would you rather have more hours in the day or more days in the week?

2. Would you rather have breakfast with your childhood hero or celebrity crush?


For me the answers would be as follows:

1. More hours in the day as long as it results in more time to myself. I often feel like I could use more time in the evenings to get stuff done and/or more time to sleep before work. Whereas more days in the week still results in the days being only 24 hours long so I'd still never increase those hours where I'm in the middle of something and have to stop.

2. My celebrity crush - mainly because I can't remember who my childhood hero was - as long as Dan Avidan can be considered a celebrity that is xD

Aa far as I know it is determined on creation of an egg.
This way when for example using a shiny voucher you can be sure the poke will be hatching shiny.

Celebrity Crush would make an ... interesting game show. So, you have a random celebrity. Then, you have a list of people who all think they are that celebrity's Number One Fan. You have all the fans in the audience and pull a name out at random. That person then goes up on stage to answer questions about that celebrity, who is backstage. There are a set amount of questions, say 15 or 20. For every wrong answer, the walls of the room the celebrity is in close in slightly. After 10 wrong answers, the game is over. And no, the walls do NOT end up touching each other. We don't want to kill the celeb, you know.

If you get enough answers correct so that the celebrity isn't "crushed", you get to meet with that person. How many answers you get correct allows the time limit you get to converse with the celeb to be extended. Could also possibly be a monetary prize as well.

1. I think I would prefer more hours in a day so long as it wouldn't affect school hours and work hours. Some days I find that there isn't enough hours in a day, especially when I am busy!

I think I've only been lucky like, once, with my initial hunt which was alllll the way back with Cherubi. I got her in like 36 eggs. I find it so funny, though I guess the challenge totally makes it worth it when it finally hatches.

That's a tough one... I think I'd rather have more hours in the day. That way, I won't feel as bad about sleeping in, and I'd feel a lot more productive since I could get so much more done in one day. Regarding extra work/school hours -- I think that those could stay the same; if anything, you might get more leisure time during the day.

I saw the new Sonic game. It looks... interesting, to say the last. I love how the official Sonic people are so in touch with the fanbase in many regards.

1. Would you rather fight 1,000 bears the size of a mouse or 1 normal-sized bear?

2. If you could go back in time and do just one simple act, what would it be? (To clarify, I mean simple as in, for example, removing an important document from someone's desk; the implications can certainly be major, but the act itself is otherwise something easy that anyone could do.)

2. This one is hard. I wanted to write like "go back and stop myself from doing this thing" but making mistakes oftentimes helps us turn out to be the people we are. Though there is definitely a mistake I wish I could correct that was more recent since it's turned my entire life upside down right now.

Oh I know! Several years back, there had been a small kitten that had hung out in the parking lot of my work. It had been the start of my shift which started at like 12 AM, and I couldn't bring it inside of course. So I just left it outside and unfortunately it was gone once I got off shift. If I could go back in time, I would put that kitten in my car, so I could take it home.

Anyways, I just used all of the credits I had stored in sweet honey, so it's now at 99% I'm also breeding a ton of Pokemon to send out on WT (hopefully today). They're all named after Stands from part 3 of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. I still have a ton of them to hatch, though :/

Aww, I'm so sorry - stomach flu sucks, it's one of the worst feelings there is. Get better soon - hopefully it's one of the quicker bugs.

Anyway: The only thing I know about the new Sonic game is that it apparently lets you make OCs? I'm anticipating plenty of humor from this, if only because the fandom has been rather... cringeworthy in the past. 'original character donut steal NO STICKY PAWS'

Stomach Flu definitely sucks. Last time I had it, it lasted about a week. Ugh certainly was not fun at all.

Ironically, my stomach's been just an absolute mess today too. I was able to eat some soup finally but overall, haven't been able to have much at all. I think it;s just terrible indigestion but well, I guess I'll see how I feel tomorrow.

1) 100 mouse sized bears simple because small things are much easier to kill than large things if you live in a country where you can't use guns to kill.

2) Dunno, I'm not an influential person and I don't know anyone (in person) who has control over important stuff.
Then again my memory isn't the best so if you guys can think of something that I may or may not have control over that would actually make an impact on millions of lives, please let me know so I can update my answer.

Woo, found a treasure chest! Had a Silver Wing, too - I'll summon a Shadow Lugia next time the lab dips under 700 eggs. So probably not until the multipliers leave, unfortunately.

I started this year off with the stomach flu - caught it at a New Years party. Not fun. Luckily it didn't last long; I can't imagine being sick with it for a week. One day was already plumbing the depths of misery.

Trying to hunt Alolan Sandshrew and Flaming Zorua at the same time. My Flaming Zoroark pair already gave me a shiny Zorua...now all they need to do is have a second little miracle. Come on, guys, it can't be that hard!

Have been very busy the last days/week and still am today.
There is a workshop from work I have to attend as an all day event even though I am currently only working 50% to have a soft start after parental leave and more time for my boy.
Looking forward to the weekend (took Monday off, so it will be 3 days, yeah!).
I hope to get a Lycanroc download code on Monday if we find the time driving to the next GameStop (which isn't too close sadly).

Depends on if you have to fight the 1000 bears at the same time or one after another (with breaks!).
I can imagine a single one being easier to handle than 1000 little ones at the same time.
Also depends on the weapon. The little ones would be harder target and you'd neede more arrows/bullets/whatever.
I'd prefer not to fight any bears at all


I'd like to go back a few years to school when I promised to print out a school work for a friend without a printer. She wanted to send it over via email in the evening, but the email didn't arrive before I had to go to bed. I didn't know it could be there in the moring (with a huge delay) so she didn't have anything to give to the teacher... I felt really bad.
I would go back and print it out in the morning.
The impact wouldn't be big though. The teacher didn't like the work even after seeing it too late but it would have avoided some arguing.

1. I'd rather the 1000 tiny bears...think I'd stand more of a chance with them!

2. This is a hard one. I wouldn't want to do something that would change world history, but I'm not sure what I'd do on a more personal level...I don't really have any major regrets. If anything I'd want to go back and change what I've said in some situations

This week has been exciting for me, in regard to my pets. I bought some more guppies for my tank and they're all doing well. I only had two before so now it's nice to see a bit more life in the tank! I find is so relaxing just sitting at my desk and watching them swim around And the next thing is, two of my lovebirds' eggs have hatched! One hatched Wednesday and the other this morning, so they're super tiny :> More of their siblings should be hatching over the next week, and then I'll soon be taking them to handraise myself...as much as I love her, the mummy lovebird is a terrible mother

Hello, everyone! I apologize for kind of falling off the map for the last few months. There's been some big things that have happened in my life, and I just did not have time for this site on top of them.

I had my hardest semester of college yet. Reading 3-4 novels a week, writing 10 pages a week, all lead up to finals week having one major test and 35 pages of writing due in a week. I survived that well enough, and it ended up being my best semester yet, in regards to grades.

I've joined (was kind of recruited) a website that writes features, news, and reviews on video games, with a focus on more academic content. It's a big step in what I want to do for my career, and my first little piece went live yesterday. Still waiting for my feature to go up, but I'm still excited to be part of something like this. It also gives me insight into what is happening across the gaming industry, so I'm pretty up to date on most things.

Other things that have happened: I got a Mass Effect tattoo this week. Started dieting and working out. My work is under construction to start selling alcohol. Solar panels were installed on my house. The AC in my Jeep went out, and it is currently 90 degrees outside. I started focusing on my Twitch channel more, adding a bot and some commands. I've also started a small vinyl decal business.

It's been a crazy few months, to say the least. Glad I didn't miss the SWSH, though!

Well, I'm pretty darn happy right now! Completed my Shiny Alolan Grimer hunt in 58 eggs, my fastest SWSH ever! I'm so relieved, cause I haven't been spending that much time on here (PokeFarm kinda stole me...^^

Gonna try and hunt an Alolan Vulpix now, just for fun ^^

Ayyyyy guess who got himself not one job, but TWO, and a place to live over summer this guy right here! I won't lie I'm very very nervous, because I've never had to do job interviews before - but I can't have been that bad if they're giving me inductions for both! Aha.

One is for a convenience store and the other is bar staff very excited for the bar staff though as it's in a really nice building (it used to be a Gentleman's club) so there's lot of architecture still in there n stuff. Much excite!!!! It's all happened in two weeks so I'm just like UGH, I STILL HAVE AN EXAM ON THURSDAY

I love my new job. I do the picking of items from the robots when they bring it to me. So I get to see a bunch of cool stuff. I am all by myself which it fine by me. I'm more productive that way anyway. It's a very easy job, lots of repetition. Legs hurt a bit from going up and down the ladder but I will get used to it. There were so many figet spinners going out. I got to see a bunch of different ones.

Congrats on the job Sam! I got super lucky when I first got hired because I totally bombed the interview. Only reason I did get the position was because the supervisor herself was new and experienced so she didn't really know any better.

ALSO I have JUST completed my very last run of Death of the world! My Arceus collection is COMPLETE!

Noooow... it's time to finish that last achievement I have been hardcore avoiding - master commuter.

Also vulpix hates me. Over 1000 fails now.
