Every night at midnight, during the reset, any egg that has been in the Shelter for at least 36 hours (this number could change in the future) will be deleted from the site completely.
Yes, this will affect your Pokémon's heritage and "number of children" which will in turn affect the "Most Children" stat. However, it won't affect your personal "Eggs bred" stat. Note that I'm only going to set it up to delete eggs, and not hatched Pokémon, since there's not many of them. And I really wouldn't want to delete a Pokémon that is a mother/father since that would negatively affect a Heritage line moreso than a couple of children disappearing from the list.
