Ok so i did consider this a lot but idk i guess may as well give it a try

So we all know arceus is the holy sweet baby of gpx and is essentially rare, which i totally understand. But i think it's about time to lower that rarity

with wymsy leaving, and the update about the future of the site, i think the site closing down became much more of a possibility and reality than i ever thought (not saying that it's going to close down within the next few months or anything)
and because of this, i really dont see why arceus should be that rare anymore. The activity of the site has died down a lot, and there are many users (including myself) who have been here since the start, or near enough, who have never really left the site, not that i'm saying "zomgl ive been here since the start give me arceus for loyalty!!!' but i'm trying to say that, what, six years (?) is a long time to be waiting around on a near dead website (wow kinda sounds like i'm bashing gpx, not my intention, i love the site) for something that you really don't have that much of a chance of getting. and yeah, i totally get that arceus is essentially a reward for winning a contest, so i'm not saying to just hand out arceus left, right and center, but i'm trying to get at that at least now, arceus should be obtainable by other means than stalking the lab 24/7 and getting the 0.0001% chance, or by waiting for a contest to come up and hoping you win.

and before you say that changing the rarity of arceus is stupid/dumb/pointless, i get where you're coming from, i really do, but i remember back when ditto was listed as 'rare' (despite being common by the games canon), and it was a pain to get one (which could only be obtaied from spawning in the lab, which was hard because of it's rare rarity but also the ridiculous amount of users who would constantly be refreshing the lab for one), so was eventually changed after a year or two to a common rarity. At the same time, arceus is still listen as a "legendary" rarity, so why is it that he is harder to get than the rest, when they have the same rarity, and i dont really see any reason why the same can't be done for arceus. at least by giving it a hard exploration, or by putting a voucher in the prize shop for a ridiculous amount of prize points (1,000, 2,000? idk) it'll still maintain its 'extra' legendary status on the site?

at the end of the day, i know theyre just pixels, and it would be nice to finally obtain an arceus for myself, but i'm simply making a suggestion so feel free to agree/disagree, doesn't bother me.

The staff have repeatedly confirmed there will eventually be an Exploration for Arceus. It's just a matter of time.

Yea, I swore i saw this but that was like over a year ago so I didn't know if it was still a thing or not (coz lets all rip the mysterious letter mystery dungeon function)

Suffice it to say that Arceus is going to remain the "holy grail" until such time as the administration and staff decide otherwise.
