I like all of them and played with each starter at least once in the games. Chikorita has good defense, Cyndaquil is a pretty good fire type, and Totoile's got a nice attack. All of them and their evolutions have neat designs in my opinion.

But if I have to go with ONE of them, I choose Totodile.

cyndaquil is pretty cool and Typhlosion is awesome but sucks in battle.. the only good thing is eruption.

i chose toto in silver and crystal mainly because it learns thunder and ice punch

I preferred Chikorita too, mainly because I love all grass type Pokémon. I only chose other starters if I didn't like the looks of the grass typer starter at all.

For me it's always difficult to chose between chikorita and cyndaquil.
The first time I played those games I used chikorita but then I fell in love with quilava.
So now I almost have to flip coins just to chose one of these.

For me it's a toss-up between Totodile and Chikorita. I usually always choose the grass starters, but Feraligatr was my baby in Crystal. He alone swept Red at Mt. Silver, so I'll lean towards Totodile. :P

One of the few Chikorita fans. Sure, it's weak but it's insanely cute and I judge a lot more on that than stats.. baha. Will always love its line. (b' ')b
