Two decades ago, the alliance between a group of Magmas and the people of Noverus was first kindled. These Magmas, disillusioned with the tyrannical cravings of their power-hungry brethren, sought to improve the lives of their fellow Hoennians. When they came upon Noverus, the city was in shambles. Their hydroelectric dam had broken down, leaving the city without electricity. Our engineers went to work on it quickly, but we knew that wasn’t enough. Noverus leadership, especially the mayor, was deeply corrupted. While they lined their pocketbooks with tax money, the dam remained unprotected with little maintenance. Thankfully, the mayor realized the mistakes made and resigned, putting the city in more capable hands.

We did not want to govern Noverus, but in our hearts, we knew it was right.

For twenty years, we have defended Noverus citizens. We continue to fend off assaults from Team Aqua, a group whose sole desire is to drown humanity to make way for a new wourld order under their rule. They are made up of foreigners, who seek to force their ideals on our friends and families. As Noverus citizens, we cannot surrender our freedoms to a foreign power.

At the same time, we have kept fringe elements of Noverus society in check. These “rebels” seek to return to corrupt past, when power and riches were occupied to the few. This is perhaps the most painful fight we have faced. It pits Noverus citizens against each other when we should be working together to make our city great. The fighting must stop. We ask that Rebel leaders give up their fight, stop sacrificing our youth, and surrender in peace so that we may work for a better Noverus.

In your hearts, you know it’s right.

In return, Noverus has provided us with a home. When we needed shelter from our darker parent organization, Noverus was there. Magmas are proud to call ourselves citizens of Noverus. And we still have much to give.

Across Hoenn, Magma is known for destruction. In Noverus, we want to stand for renewal. A new land for a new era! From this day forward, we ask that Noverus citizens join Magma in accomplishing this goal. As a recruit, you will gain immediate benefits such as financial aid, child daycare, and access to our facilities for communication needs. You will be immediately tasked to protect your family and others from constant threats of opposing factions. Most important of all, you will have a role in creating a new Noverus, one that will be safe for all.

It has been nearly twenty years since we answered the call.

Before that time, there was a peaceful city called Noverus. It was long separated from the affairs of Magma and Aqua. That wouldn’t last, for Magma’s thirst for land was unquenchable. When Team Magma forcefully took control over the city of Noverus, citizens cried for salvation. To their credit, the citizens fought well during their first Rebellion, but it wasn’t enough to stop Magma’s might. They needed help from outside Noverus, from all over the world.

We answered the call.

Our team doesn’t just consist of fellow Hoennians. We have members from Kanto, Johto, and Sinnoh who sympathize with the Noverus citizens. We have joined forces to oppose the Magma juggernaut. Across Noverus, our squads work to cut supply lines to Magma forces, contributing to releasing the tight grip around Noverus. The tides will change.

We applaud the efforts of Noverus citizens to take back their own land in their own “Rebellion”. However, their efforts are somewhat lacking; without proper resources, they will never be able to defeat their oppressors. With our resources and your connections to Noverus society, we could become an unstoppable force. To those who want to bring a real fight to Magma, we ask you to stand with Team Aqua.
