Okay, I dunno if I like the idea of letters for game titles, but these games were just shown to us on Nintendo Direct! And I say these look AWESOME so far! I think the grass and fire starters look adorable, though not so much the water one. I think it's because I've never been much of a fan of frogs though.

ANYWAY, those legendaries! Good GOD are they EPIC! I can't wait to see more of gen 6! And we get these games in October? EVERYWHERE? Nintendo, you make me proud and totally excited yet again, and Pokemon isn't even one of my top three favorite game franchises (it's number 5).

The only real problem I think I'll have is that I'll miss sprites. I really thought that they could've been incorporated into 3D somehow, but maybe GameFreak just couldn't find a way to make that work.

I think at this moment in time, my favourite starter is Froakie, but I think that'll possibly switch over to Chespin, depending on if its evolutions more resemble a hedghog, Fennekin is cute as well, although I usually avoid fire starters xp

@Prof edward, I think if anything, we'd sprite out all of gen 6 to resemble the sprites in bw/2 if anything, although that's just a guess xp

Worldwide release so soon has got me thinking about how fast they really wanted to get Gen V out of the way... other than that, hyped for it! I'll have to get a 3ds eventually.

Ohhhhhhhhh man I'm so excited for this.

I think with these I might go for Fennekin or Froakie. Like always, I'll probably decide what to pick for certain when we see all of the final forms. As for which version I'll get, I dunno. I'm a bit iffy on both legendaries, kinda leaning towards the bird one though.

But man, what I wasn't expecting was the simultaneous global release. That really excites me more than anything about this announcement. This time around I won't be able to spoil things for myself based on what people have done in the Japanese version, now everyone's gonna be discovering things simultaneously.

The setting's pretty cool, I approve. Was kinda hoping for another States thing to give us a better sense of what Pokemon's equivalent of North America would be like, but I guess their new thing is going with well-known cities around the globe (NYC, and now Paris).

I'm glad it's fully 3D, the potential lack of sprites kinda worries me a bit but I'm sure GPX will get around it. I've been worried about Pokemon going 3D since Dragon Quest Monsters did the same thing and kinda ruined the series by having to scale down the entire game world due to memory limitations of the regular DS. I doubt the same will happen to Pokemon based off the trailer, they made the smart choice of waiting to go full-3D when Nintendo had a more powerful 3D handheld out.

Yeah, I thought the same. And then I thought "looks like a mash-up of Virizion, Dialga (the colors) and the Forest Spirit".

For now, I don't quite like the starters, but I'd pick Fennekin. Which reminds me of Zorua. And Chespin has Emolga's face. And I sound like a hater.

I hope Fennekin doesn't end as a fire/fighting mon. Luckily, it looks like a fire/psychic.

Here's hoping they don't pull a Gen V on the final version of the starters. Don't take me wrong, I love Gen V and I like the final starter evolutions but at the time of their unveiling it was such a... disappointment. I felt like they could have done more with them. Hopefully it's not the case here.

And I was also gonna say how ridiculous that deer looks but after seeing the trailer... It kinda works.

When I saw this I almost flipped new generation which is awesome!!!

I need to get a 3DS which I don't know when that will be, hopefully sometime soon since there is one more pokemon i want to get earlier this year but either way i'm gong to try to have one before those two games come out! 8D

as for the starters I love love love love the fire starter it is so cute, the grass starter is cute as well the water starter I'm not sure if its just because its a frog like one but that seems to be my less favorite out of the three but its still cute in its own way.

As for the legendaries, AMAZING! those legendaries look so epic.

I can't wait for these games to come out!

I'm not sure what to think of the starters (I think I'll go with the fiery fox), but I do like the legendaries!

I'm hoping they're still making sprites, even though the game is 3D ^^ I love sprites.

When I heard they were called X and Y, I thought "Either they're doing a collab with Coldplay (not that I'm complaining...), or they're doing a game based on human chromosomes..." XD

Anyways. I'm not that excited. I can't really afford a 3DS, especially if this is the only game I'd ever play on it, all the starters apart from the fox are somewhere between meh and ugly, and I've got White and SoulSilver to finish, not to mention B2 or W2 to buy. And I was planning to do a Nuzlocke on SS, once I've sent my team from there to White or whatever sequel I end up getting... (I plan to use them on whoever gives me trouble. No more spending weeks trying to beat the same Gym! )

EDIT: Oh, and the deer is Dialga in a hat, and the bird reminds me of a uterus covered in spikes. Not a fan so far.

The Y-Pokémon looks incredible, can't wait to get it.
