My favorite movie of all time! I'm a big NMBC geek. My room has Jack and Sally's face all over it. I've memorized the entire movie and I've gone to see it 3-D five times! I have an obsession with NMBC. So, discuss.

YOU'VE NEVER SEEN IT?!? You don't deserve to live. jk. Jack Skellington, the Santa Claus of Halloween, gets bored with his own holiday. He stumbles upon Christmastown and decides to try and make a Christmas of his own. They kidnap Santa and create their own demented version of Christmas. Sally, a living rag doll with feelings for Jack, attempts to fix what Jack is doing by stopping his take-off (which fails) and rescuing Santa (which also fails). She gets captured by Oogie Boogie, an evil bag of bugs who was holding Santa as a prisoner. Jack gets shot down by the military and realizes what he did was wrong. He goes to saves Santa and Sally and ends up killing Oogie Boogie. Santa fixes Christmas and Jack and Sally live happily ever after. You should see the essay I wroteabout it for my English class. -------------------- |

This movie is one of my favorites since i saw it like 11 or 12 years ago

Z0mg, I just got Kingdom Hearts a couple days ago (a few years too late, I suppose) and I couldn't wait to get to Halloween Town. Not only does it play the instrumental music from "This is Halloween" as the background music everywhere, but you get to fight with Jack Skellington! It's a shame the world was so short, though, I wanted to stay longer

I couldn't stand the voice acting, though, since I'm pretty sure that everyone but Oogie Boogie had a different voice
 Anyway, I really ought to buy NMBC on DVD...I really don't know why I haven't. Though, then again, there are quite a few obviously amazing movies I have yet to purchase... -------------------- |

On the 26th of August, Disney is releasing an "Ultimate Collector's Edition" on DVD and Blu-ray (I sound like a commercial). I am so getting it even though I already have the Special Edition DVD. Also, on September 30th, they're re-re-realeasing the soundtrack with the songs redone by various artists. This one will have different artists from the last re-release that had Panic! at the Disco, Fall Out Boy and Marilyn Manson.
Halloweentown was my favorite Kingdom Hearts world from all three games. Some of the voices changed drastically but they did a good job. The voice actor for the Mayor was the same person from the original movie, I think. -------------------- |

I just listened to Manson's version and the P!@TD version, but I have to say the original version is still my favorite by far.
I also listened to the Japanese version, it's hilarious

I like Fall Out Boy's version of "What's This?" and Fiona Apple's version of "Sally's Song". But she sounds slightly drunk or braindead or something. I thought the Marilyn Manson version was a little bit creepy. I did not like She Wants Revenge's version of "Kidnap the Sandy Claws". Way too repetitive and it's kinda monotonous.
The new CD is titled "Nightmare Revisited". Apparently, even the backround music is being redone. I haven't seen this movie in years. Really great movie though, probably Tim Burton's best. Jack is such an awesome character.

I'm one of those kids who walks around with at least one thing with Jack's face on it (I happen to have four). I'm always in the T-Shirt I own or the Hat, as well as the Sweatshirt when I'm cold. And I wear the Pajamas whenever I get the chance.
