Hello, everyone!

Thank you for your participation in the https://forums.gpx.plus/index.php?showtopic=78999 thread that PokeNom set up a bit ago! There are some really great ideas in there, including a battle subway themed suggested by Doom Hunter!
The event will run from the 9th of April until the 30th of April at reset. (April 8th 11:55pm ET -> April 30th 11:55pm ET)

If you had any leftover Coins from the last event in February, your total will be reset to 0 when the event begins.

The Event Shop will remain open throughout the month of May.

When the event begins at the designated time, the following battle subway themed Pokémon will hatch with a Coin:

• Abra
• Aerodactyl
• Alolan Diglett
• Audino
• Axew
• Azurill
• Charmander
• Darumaka
• Diglett
• Eevee
• Electrike
• Emolga
• Feebas
• Ferroseed
• Gastly
• Houndour
• Larvitar
• Sawk
• Skarmory
• Smoochum
• Sneasel
• Timburr
• Togepi
• Zorua

If you've saved enough Coins, you'll be able to exchange them for some lovely prizes in the Event Shop!
Prizes range from 10 Coins to a top prize of 500 Coins (plus up to 10 Repel at 1 Coin to help you use up any remaining balance before the shop closes at the end of May).

I love this theme!! I like that it's about our battle subway and what users actually battle with. My immediate thought was Pokemon from gen 5's battle subway. Great event suggestion and great event choice!

It is always interesting to have a new set of pokemon to learn to identify in the shelter and lab. The 2k eggs should help to be able to finish for the day with a full PC and go outside into the sunshine... it is going to be sunny and warm again right?

I was already planning to seek one of these so that is a nice bonus to be able to advance multiple objectives.

Are the events getting longer and longer? It seems like we started at about two weeks and this one is three weeks? Will they eventually just be continuous or overlapping? I appreciate that longer events allow wider participation but with open-ended event shop inventories (on some prized items) it can become a bit of a grind when one is still working on self-control.

I love this theme - and I really hope it helps more people feel like they can get involved with the battle subway and build a team for themselves!
Ironically the one pokemon I do want to hunt to improve my own battle team - Gastly - is not included in the list - but plenty of other fun things to hunt for!

Oh, hey, my idea went through! And a lot of my team is in there too! I get not including Magikarp, but I love the little shoutout to some Subway greatness. <3 Thanks for thinking of me, guys.

For those wondering, my team is Mega Alakazam, Mega Gyarados, Mega Charizard X, Sawk, Skarmory, and Dugtrio. It's cool to see 2/3 of my main gang as the event mons. Azumarill, Ferrothorn, Haxorus, and Zen Darm are on my second team too, so this is really cool to see for me!

This is a really cool theme for the event! I've been meaning to make a decent battle subway team for years, and I feel like this might be inspiration to do so! I'm also happy to see a few of my current hunts on the list, which hasn't happened for a coin event yet.

Oughhh Submas !! Love these coin events and it's cool to see one themed after my favorite battle facility/characters... A bit surprised that some of the subway bosses pokemon like joltik/litwick/tynamo aren't options, but v excited for this one regardless :]

As usual, I am ambivalent to all things Battle Subway-related. I like that this encourages users to farm for pokemon with optimal stats (and rope in more people to participate in battling), but at the same time it stratifies a highly selective bundle of pokemon, encouraging homogenization and discouraging creativity. But with GPX's limited battling system there isn't much room for creativity anyway so I suppose it's for the best.
