Hi folks,
Hopefully someone can shed some light on this. I've noticed on my last few explorations that the Pokemon that needs berries (for a specific task) starts appearing 2-5 tasks too early. I've been unfortunate enough to have collected 100+ berry interactions before the task even begins and everything has to wait til the next day. Is this a bug that others are experiencing? Is there anything I can do about it? This post has been edited by Faust: Mar 29 2018, 08:18 AM |

What explorations are you talking about specifically? -------------------- Don't forget to love yourself. I most recently noticed it on the Ditto exploration, and I think I also noticed it happening on the Twinkie one too. (Sorry, I can't remember the names right now!) Both Pokemon showed up very early. Maybe since it was a while since I first did them, I don't remember this happening before. |

Generally, Exploration Pokemon show up in your party at the same time that they show up in the written story of the Exploration. Sometimes this is the berry-feeding task; other times it's several tasks earlier. IIRC, I believe there are even some Explorations in which there isn't a berry-feeding task at all, but an Exploration Pokemon appears anyway because it's accompanying you in the story.
It's been a long time since I've done either of these Explorations, so I don't remember them well, but I checked the story text and both of them have the Pokemon appear in the story several tasks before it needs to be fed. So I feel confident in the educated guess that both are intended to have the Pokemon show up before the feeding tasks. -------------------- |

The ditto and twinkie explorations do appear early and is not a bug.
