DARKRAI EVENT IN PLATINUM NOW!, u herd me... |

Apparently, the Darkrai event for Pokemon Platinum is happening NOW. NOW NOW. Not the fake NOW. NOW NOW. Aug 3-Sep 13 NOW.
What you need to do: 1. Fly to Jubilife City 2. Go to the third floor of the TV station. 3. Walk up to the man in the orange room, we will interview you. 4. First tell him "Everyone happy" and second "wi-fi connection". He will give you the mystery gift. 5. Save and turn the game off. 6. In the startup menu, select "Mystery Gift." 7. Choose the third option (I forgot what it was, but I'd be able to confirm or deny it if someone told me.) 8. Go to any pokemart. 9. Talk to the guy in the green suit (NOT the guy who sells you stuff) 10. Go to Canalava city. 11. Go to the Hotel that it in the top right of the city (that you didn't have access to earlier.) (You'll know you did right when you hear the Old 12. The guy will have you fall asleep in the bed that's there. 13. You will arrive in New Moon Island. 14. Go through the only entry way there (do not yell at me for getting lost, there is only one entry way, I freaken promice you.) 15. Meet DARKRAI. 16. ??? 17. PROFIT!! Darkrai is level 50. And remember: THE ULTRA BALLS!! THROW THEM! PS, it's only in Platinum......sorry to the DP people out there.  PPS, if there's another topic like this, lock or close it or whatever. SPREAD THE GOOD NEWS! PPPS, for those of you who're going to SR for a good natured Darkrai......the thing's a bitch to catch...so GOOD LUCK!

You can set up wifi in the settings menu of a DSi or in the menu of your pokemon game under your save file where it says "nintendo wifi connection". on topic i caught a shiny good natured darkrai (timid)

It acts in the exact same way all the other non-roaming legendaries do. Mystery Gift UNLOCKS the item, which unlocks newmoon island. You could get a shiny deoxys the same way. Oh and guys, no need to use a master ball of the bat, he has at least 50 pp so bring 50 dusk balls at night (best balls to catch pokemon in) and if you run out of 50, chuck a master ball if you really want that one in case it starts to use struggle, but 50 balls is enough as long as you've got it down to 1-10hp (FALSE SWIPE FTW) If I find my diamond cart, which I haven't seen in months, I'll make sure to video catching a shiny darkrai so that stuck-up people can't insult me. The only "cheats" I have ever used are to clone my pokemon for friends. Newmoon darkrai isnt a mystery gift pokemon he acts exactly like a normal legendary, you can save in front of him to restart the battle. way to go insulting someone with incorrect information. Its only pokemon that are given DIRECTLY to you that cant be shiny, not ones you need to go out and catch. I got Platinum the other week, so I have the members card, but I'm hardly up to the third gym...
When I find him, I'm gonna try and get a hasty nature. I'll probably use a gallade with false swipe, and some pokemon with amnesia.... And I guess I could try and Paralyze him... If I'm good enough, I'm opting for quick balls. Otherwise, it's Ultras and Timers. I do have a masterball, but I'm saving it. Don't know why, but I am..... -------------------- |

He knows Hypnosis, Nightmare, Faint Attack and Double Team, which was an absolute nightmare for my Gengar (/bad joke). It took me 3 hours. His evasivness was as high as it could get, his attack was as low as it could get (Staraptor), and his HP was in the yellow. I wasted both (or maybe just one) of my Max Revives, my Full Restore, all of my pokeballs and my Heal ball. And where my Ultra, Quick, and Timer balls failed, a Great ball succeeded...just like my Groudon in Ruby. Now he's going to be my Smart contest Novelty pokemon ( ) which sucks because he has a Lax nature, so I have to force the Bitter poffins down his throat. So do EVERYTHING you can to him. Paralyze, sleep, poison, everything. Get his HP out of the green, and bring a Staraptor. Apparently, you can keep switching your Staraptor in and it'll cut his Attack every time. If the strategy of Quick balls, then ultrea/Duck balls, and then Timer balls fails, just start at your first pokeball and use EVERYTHING. -------------------- space...spacespace...wanna go to space...I'm in space...are we in space...I wanna into space, are you space?
