PIDGEY LOVE

I'm going to just share some ones that have happened recently, but I've had a history of sleep walking and talking. If this thread picks up and has users posting their stories, then I'll continue with more experiences. (:

1st. I was having a minecraft dream, and had gone off into a cave to go mine some resources. I was digging away at some coal when a bat came swooping down at me. These creatures don't hurt you in game, to my knowledge, but this one was extra aggressive, so I focused my pickaxe at it and when it was in striking range I hit at it. My hitting ended up happening in real life, too, and I smacked my sleeping boyfriend in the back. He didn't wake up, and when I told him about it the next day, he said he didn't even know. lol

2nd. I've come up with the term "Sleep Cuddler" for my boyfriend, because he'll sometimes come over to me at night and really give some good cuddles. He doesn't cuddle as well when he's awake so I always enjoy it when I end up going to sleep after he does and he ends up doing that. <3 Though, there was one time when I was on his bicep and he ended up wrapping his arm around my neck and started squeezing. I thought he was going to kill me in his sleep, but anyway, I got away from that. lol

3rd. Just recently, he had gone to sleep before I had, so I decided I would be the person who is the cuddler in the back. He ended up grabbing my wrist and throwing my arm off and away from him. I have never felt so rejected by an unconscious person in my life. I scoffed in complete disbelief, but ended up laughing about it seconds later.

D'aww. cat.gif

My brother would always get up in the middle of the night, go to some random room in the house, and start opening the cabinets and drawers and pulling things out. XD He always apologized and didn't know why he did it, but he said he would be kind of lucid dreaming that he was looking for something or cooking. It's stopped happening in recent years.

Oh Lordy...

1) I once ended up sleepwalking from my old bed at my Great-Grandparents house down to the sofa, and woke up the next morning having no knowledge of how I got there.

2) I used to suffer from mild night-terrors. I woke myself up one night from "roaring" because my baby sister was sharing my room at the time and she had started crying. Freaked me the fuck out, lmao.

3) You can have proper conversation with my Mother when she's asleep. I seem to have inherited this, as she walked into my bedroom one morning, was talking to me, and I started pointing at the bedroom window, saying something about Dumbledore's beard.

There is a lot more, some where I've even spoken to my fiancé in my sleep, but it's hard to remember what he's told me xD

I actually have a mild phobia of sleep walkers/ talkers.

My younger brother used to have night terrors and sleep walk a lot when he was small. When we were on a plane once, he had fallen asleep and then just suddenly shot bolt upright in his seat and screamed and screamed, then started scratching on the window saying he wanted to get out. Scared to life out of me, i would have been eight and he would have been around 4.

I also vividly remember waking up to the sound of like ... snuffling outside my door and I heard my Mum say "What are you doing" and my brother replied "I have to get them, there are things in the carpet and the walls. I need to pick them off" Turns out he was scratching about my door frame and scratching at the carpet to get some invisible bugs in his sleep. But a lot of what he did revolved about being trapped or having to be/get something clean. And his eyes would be half rolled back into his head.

Scary.

Although i have been noted to have said "Theres Ants in the wrestling ring and they are taking all the strawberries" in my sleep.

Apparently, I always talk in my sleep. I was even told that I was talking throughout a colonoscopy. <__<;

As for sleep walking? As far as I know, I've only ever done it once, and when I woke up I had my hand on a door handle. I don't remember going back to bed after that either. o_o

My father, on the other hand, is the type who will move about in his sleep. According to my mother, she was kneed in the back of the thigh one night, and almost had a chunk taken out of her shoulder only 4 nights later. Luckily for her, Dad woke up when his head knocked against the bed rest; when he woke up, his teeth were just starting to sink into her shoulder. When he was told about it, he remembered the dream. He said some guy crashed into our garage door, then laughed at Dad because he 'wrecked the house'. In his rage, Dad went up to him and tried to bite right through his cheek.

Yeah -- fucking weird... .-.

My mom eats in her sleep. It's almost always stuff nobody in their right mind would eat, either. One morning she complained of a horrible stomachache, and we knew why as soon as we saw the empty oatmeal packet on the counter - she'd eaten the oatmeal raw. We also tease her mercilessly about the time she apparently ate cold chili with chunks of fudge in it. My dad tried convincing her that she even ate cat food in her sleep once, but nobody but him knows whether or not he just made that up.

Back in 2009 i was still in High School and I used to spend the night at my best friend (Sandi)'s house a lot. She had a sister that was a few years younger than us who shared a room with her.

This one particular night, me and my friend were sharing her bed, and her sister slept in a sleeping bag on the floor next to us. Sandi and I stayed up late just talking, a movie was playing but we weren't watching it. We talked about our old friends, old nightmares, ghost stories, etc. Her sister was asleep, she had to go to school the next day.

At one point, we fell quiet and the sister was mumbling something, and all of a sudden sat up. She got up, STOMPED (and remember this is like 2 in the morning, and her step dad is serious about all of us staying quiet) down stairs, still obviously asleep, rummaged in the kitchen, (and we could hear everything, all the way upstairs). She stomped back up the stairs. She tossed something down on her sleeping bag, flopped back down, and stayed asleep during all of this.

The next morning, we figured out what it was she went downstairs to get. like 5 packs of Gummy candy. She didn't remember a thing, and was a bit creeped out by it.

Sandi has other stories of her sister doing even creepier things in her sleep, they've shared a room for years.

One time, she said she had sat up in her bed, and just stared out, or stared at Sandi, for almost 10 minutes. Another time, she had stood next to Sandi's bed for a few minutes, and Sandi would ask her what in the world she was doing, and before she could turn around, the sister would be out the door.

Whoah if I'd wake up to someone just staring at me or standing next to my bed i'd be traumatised T-T seen to many horror movies for that, haha!

when I was young I always talked a lot in my sleep, but I can't remember much of it myself.

My ex used to sometimes sleep with their eyes open and just stare right at/through you.. it was really freaky!

I talk in my sleep on occasion, and usually wake myself up by doing so.

I have caught my Cuz a few times sleep talking and the first time it nearly scared me, I was laying in bed and I heard my cuz shout from the other room, and it was like a angry tone. I jumped out of bed and went to check come to find out she was just sleep talking and was apparently shouting at something. She has done it on occasions and it seems to only happen if certain things are bothering her, sometimes it can be funny to listen to though. xD

FIRE!!!

I talk in my sleep. On one memorable (for the ones listening...I don't remember it) occasion I was staying in my mom and her boyfriend's one room cabin. Yes ONE room...with no running water. Anyways they got up before me and were getting ready for the day. Apparently before they woke me up I said, as clear as day, 'I don't want your f*cking bananas'. To this day I still don't know what I was dreaming about.

I've walked in my sleep and tried to unlock the door once, according to my uncle... but I don't know if he was kidding or not. I feel like the only thing I'd try to open in my sleep is the fridge tongue.gif
I have no idea if I talk in my sleep, but my dog definitely does. Yesterday at night I heard him growling lightly so I went to check, and turns out he was deep asleep, he didn't even wake up to my footsteps. Makes me wonder what dog dreams are like... probably bone paradise

nice

I usually just throw myself about in my bed where my bedsheets and blankets are everywhere. However, I do talk, according to my sister, and I just say random things that relate to my dream. xD

My mother woke up one morning to find me stood in front of the fridge, sleep walking, with a block of cheese barely staying in my mouth. It was a strange experience for her.

As for other people... my fiance often sleeptalks in a mix of Danish and English, so some of the things he says can be quite funny because it comes out as semi-sensible gibberish. :')
