My Claims

When I say the original elite four, I mean those in the Kanto region. Lorelei (Ice Types), Bruno (Fighting Types), Agatha (Posion Types) and Lance (Dragon Types).
The Gym leaders (the challengers yourmove.gif) can come from any region. Kanto, Johto, Hoenn or Sinnoh...

Personally I think Blackthorn City's Claire would be the best match. Dragon types are pretty powerful. Their only weakness is dragon type moves. The battle with Lance would be the toughest. Dragon vs. Dragon... crazy.gif Now that's a battle!

It's either her or Blaine. Personality wise, Blaine seems pretty sharp and he'd probably be able to come up with some wicked strategy or plan. I may be biased though... I love fire types! yourmove.gif

Well, what do YOU think?

Misty and Wake both use the most combo'ed Pokemon type, and assuming they fight at a much greater level than they normally do, I'd select them.

well two things

one i think you clicked the post topic button three times since there are multiple topics of the exact same thing

and two, dragons are extremley weak to ice(4x weakness) so after the first battle the dragon leader would either be done, or by the time they got to the dragon elite four they would lose

although i think fire would do pretty well, im to lazy to check its weaknesses right now though

Ah, I see... I overlooked the ice types. Yes, that would be a major problem for Claire... irritated.gif

I would have to say Sabrina. I know shes only psychic ghost and dark types but she is very strong. I think with her power and inteligence she would easily overthrow the elite four.

My motley crew...

I'm going to have to agree with those who mentioned Claire. When it comes to gym leaders, I'd say she's probably the toughest of the tough. Now, what about the pokemon in the posession of the Sinnoh gym leaders when you re-challenge them in Platinum? I'd say that they more or less dominate...

Actually, I haven't gotten that far in Platinum yet... ^^;

As for the Sinnoh Gym leaders... I think Candice or Fantina would do the best job.

If you count Blue from G/S/C, he would probably be best wink.gif but Claire would do great aswell, that Kingdra is powerful! Winona, if she trained, she might have a light chance (that darn altaria!)

Claire would not do well, becuase as previously pointed out, she would seriouly strugle against Lorelei. And even if Lorelei wasn't there, Lance is a far superior Dragon type trainer and therefore she would lose to him.

Blaine would also struggle, as whilst Bruno is a fighting type trainer, he does have rock Pokemon, (a couple of Onix if I remeber correctly) and these would murder his fire types.

Sabrina might stand a chance. She has a serious advantage over Bruno and Agatha. She doesn't have any real way of dealing with Lance's dragons, but if she obtained a few more Pokes and trained a bit she might be able to give him a run for his money.

Candice would be able to batter Lance. Lorelei may be tricky for her, but with her Weavile she'd be able to hopefully take out Agatha. She'd struggle against Bruno, and to be honest that will probably be the end of her, but if she does luck through, then there'll be no problem beating Lance. Obviously Pryce would have a similar advantage over Lance, his team isn't as diverse or as large as Candice's, and he doesn't have a Weavile to deal with Agathta.

Blue from GSC, no contest. After all...he did.

Of those who haven't, assuming level scales, probably any one of the Psychic gym leaders...especially by Gen 1 rules.
