Global PokédeX Plus Forums _ General Pokémon _ Pokemon that grew on you

Posted by: Karofsky Feb 14 2013, 11:12 PM

I think most of us have that one pokemon that we started out hating, but over time, for some reason or another, it stole your heart. Especially with the newer generations, when you first see them you can't help but ask 'what were they thinking?', but eventually you start getting use to that particular pokemon until you're fond of it.

So what's that one or more pokemon that grew on you?

Mine, personally, would have to be Patrat/Watchog and Trubbish. Patrat's design I found too dull, while I really didn't care at all for Trubbish. After fighting with Watchog in Pokemon White, I've become quiet fond of them and they've turned to be one of my favourite pokemon from that generation. The amount of hate Trubbish received made me pity the little guy. I find him quiet adorable, and he had started to grow on me in time too.

Hoppip is another. I'm not all fond of his evolution line, but Hoppip himself I found annoying as a kid because of how useless they were. Now that I'm older, I find his design to be adorable.

Chikorita I found pretty fragile looking and lacked in comparison to the other two starters. I always felt bad for Silver because I always chose Totodile and stuck him with Chikorita. Here's this bloke with a terrible attitude and a glum outlook on life, and he's tagging around this pokemon with a giant flower on its neck. I think Ash's Chikorita changed that seeing as she was a little badass.

So what about you? Who's that pesky little pokemon that tugged on your heartstrings?

Posted by: BabyBichu Feb 14 2013, 11:20 PM

I have no idea on this.
But I have no feeling towards Shinx, and I gradually grew in love with in because of the fact that I always transform into a Shinx in Explorers of Sky.

Posted by: TiePhlosion Feb 15 2013, 12:35 PM

I have to say very honestly, when I first saw Cyndaquil, I nearly threw up. The way his eyes were constantly closed made me think that (when i was younger of course,) he would always strike attacks but they would miss the foe. But I tried him once in my Heart Gold, and the way the Quilava design came out was too awesome. <3

The second one I mostly disliked was Squirtle. When your playing Pokemon Rescue Team or Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, the way the Squirtle smiled...It was horrible. And the way it cried when it was on the beach when Zubat and Koffing took its Relic Fragment I seriously thought to myself "Kill me now." But its evolution. GOD Wartortle was cute. So now, im perfectly fine with both pokemon! grin.gif

Posted by: Amberfunk Feb 15 2013, 01:06 PM

I didn't like stunfisk too much at first. But I decided to use it on my white 2 team and he's pretty freaking awesome. He's the tank in my team. His derpy look kinda grew on me too. He's so adorable to me now:)

Posted by: The Madcap Laughs Feb 15 2013, 07:03 PM

Wartortle. I've always loved Squirtle and Blastoise, but for the longest time I never really cared for Wartortle. Recently, however, I've begun to love Wartortle. This has happened with me for a lot of middle evolutions, actually (Croconaw being another example)

Posted by: Aura Dynasty Feb 15 2013, 07:07 PM

I kinda hated Psyduck... I mean, he just stood there... doing nothing but having headaches and lousy attacks. I also didn't like his evolution but since I recieved W2 I started liking the little guy. Now he's one of my fave water-types and the strongest Pokémon on my W2 team.

psyduck.gif & golduck.gif are my buddies now woot.gif

Posted by: Joltik Mar 4 2013, 06:56 AM

I don't want to say I hated it to start with, because I really didn't, but Joltik. Joltik didn't stand out to me at all when Gen 5 was announced, I found the whole generation rather bland and had no favourites.

Then, one picture, one picture changed it all.

IT'S SO DAMN CUTE.

This started the OBSESSION that, as you can see, has yet to end.

Of course, the rest of the generation has grown on me since then as well, I have quite a few favourites now.

Posted by: Peter the Celebi Mar 4 2013, 06:10 PM

Easy: Celebi
It wasn't too special to me. No signature moves, one of the 3 worst type pairings, etc. Sure it can travel through time, but Dialga can freakin' CONTROL time.
I started to like it because of an RP. Won't go into much detail, but it was my favorite character of mine and was also a popular one with everyone else. It made me start to like, and eventually LOVE the freakin' awesomeness packed into that little, green fairy body.

Posted by: LiepardTrainer Mar 5 2013, 06:25 PM

For me, even I'm surprised at times, when Gen 5 was announced, Pokemon revealed, every time I saw Watchog, I'm my mind back then was like "another easy Pokemon to defeat, nothing special about it" - from the pass of time, watching in the anime, using in the games - its now my #1 favorite Pokemon for now (taking over Liepard for first place by a 1%,) episode BW 115..... that sad expression with its eyes got to me, and instantly became #1, Everywhere I go while driving, I have to carry my Watchog keychain plush, hang it by the rear view mirror.

I never expect it to love Watchog or that it be my #1.

Posted by: Mars Adept Enten Jun 18 2013, 12:52 PM

I'd have to say one of the 'mons that I was ambivalent about but now really love is Oshawott. I first saw his artwork when the BW starters were revealed, and I was like, "WTE is with that derpface? dumblook.gif And that huge nose?" Obviously, I had issues with his design. But one of my old Laptew pals was a huge fan of Oshawott, and his enthusiasm for it really warmed me up to that otter. cat.gif That, and once I saw his final evo, I was like, "WOW, that is so awesome.gif! A badass samurai otter!" And the fact that he has an IMO awesome shiny color scheme really helped that as well.

Posted by: Manah Jun 19 2013, 04:48 PM

Vanilluxe. The first time I saw it I thought "WTF is that thing?", now I have one in my White 2 team. Silly ice cream.
(I tend to eventually love the things I find weird at first, so I half expected that to happen. xD)

Also, Vesus Levide made me appreciate Oshawott's cuteness

Posted by: Indoor Survival Jun 19 2013, 06:05 PM

Conkeldurr is the strongest example of this for me so far. I didn't care much for him at first, but when I read his Pokepark entry on Bulbapedia, I fell in love with him. I'd get a stuffed animal of him if I could.

QUOTE(Pokepark Entry)
He looks stubborn, but he is very gentle at heart. He is strict with himself and others, but he takes good care of them, so Pokémon in the Area like him.

I wanted to give him a big hug after reading that. :3

I warmed up to Drapion, too. I'm not sure how it happened, but I love him now.

Kangaskhan is another pokemon that I never paid any attention to, but now I love her. For some reason, I always though her stats were something like Smeargle's or some other random Normal type. That's far from true, I found out. XD

Posted by: Mars Adept Enten Jun 23 2013, 12:20 PM

The Timburr line is another one that's slowly gotten my love. At first, I saw Conkeldurr, and thought to myself, "Man, why did GF go for a derpy elderly fighter who's obviously just http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DumbMuscle? -_-.gif" It wasn't until I raised a Timburr of my own that I started liking him. cat.gif Probably the biggest catalyst for that was Wake-Up Slap. Around Pinwheel Forest, I leveled one up to learn that and said to myself, "Man, it' be so funny to see a piece of fanart having Hilda command a Timburr to use Wake-Up Slap on a Team Plasma goon and the Timburr bitchslaps the Plasma Grunt with that 2x4. cackle.gif" And then I checked out Conkeldurr's name etymology, and it turns out that it wasn't meant to be a derp reference. It's actually from concrete and elder portmanteau'd together. That really changed my attitude towards the entire line. ^_^.gif

Posted by: Silverwynde Jul 5 2013, 03:06 PM

Easy: Sawk. I hated the design at first but when I went up against Lenora, I needed a Fighter. It was a choice between Timburr or Sawk. I caught the Timburr first then went for a Sawk...who proceeded to break several of my Poke Balls even at 1HP! When I finally caught him, I took him to the Gym and he went completely nuts on the place; there was no stopping him. That Sawk became my power hitter in Black and I fell in love with him. Now I'm an admitted Sawk fan.

Posted by: Letan Jul 5 2013, 10:10 PM

With a more recent example, I'd probably have to go with Ferrothorn.

I hated it aesthetically from the moment I saw it. However, it wasn't until White 2 when I really started to like Ferrothorn. I ended up using one towards the end of the game and loved it. It could tank hits like a champ, as long as they weren't a strong fire attack, and it'd be able to slowly take down some tough opponents. As for Ferrothorn's appearance, http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/2/2d/FerrothornEmergingPowers73.jpg made me start to like it. I don't get why they put it in the dumbest pose in Gen V, I get that it hangs from ceilings in caves but it's weird when you're fighting outside.

Posted by: hondini Jul 9 2013, 04:51 AM

Probopass, and now I really like it!

Posted by: Totodile Jul 11 2013, 12:39 PM

When I was younger, I absolutely despised Zubat. Most people do too. I never really used repels, so I had to run through a cave full of Zubat all the time.
When HeartGold came out, I wanted to try something different and use a Zubat. Let me tell you now, I fell in love with that Crobat. He was so fast, so physically strong and he was a brilliant sweeper for my team.

More recently, I decided to return to fifth gen after postponing my White Adventure. I was looking for a Fire type when I opted for Darumaka. He was so cute and tiny that I initially named him Pipsqueak, but I soon learned that he was anything but. Darumaka (and Darmanitan) are absolute beasts. Good speed and outrageous attack. Darmanitan became my best Pokémon and he is definitely in my top ten.

Posted by: Daisy14 Jul 29 2013, 12:27 PM

umm.. I think umbreon, pikachu and oshawott that really grew on me since I love this few pokemons like that. happy.gif

Posted by: Moonblast Jul 30 2013, 03:20 PM

So, when Gen V was released, I hated Trubbish and Garbodor, just like everyone else. Then I got Black 2, and decided I wanted to go through the game with a whole team of only the stupidest, ugliest, derpiest Pokemon I could think of. And that is how I found out that Garbodor is a badass. It has a less than ideal special attack stat, and it still completely wrecks stuff with a combination of Toxic and Venoshock.

Posted by: Kazyx Jul 31 2013, 03:21 PM

A long time ago, I used to hate Cradily. I was like "This thing is odd looking and a pain in the arse to take down. Why would I want this". It wasn't until more recent generations that showed Cradily has the capability to take on just about anything. Stockpile, combined with Leech Seed and/or Recover allows it to have amazing survival capabilities, and with Suction Cups, it isn't going to be taken away by phazing moves. This allows a teammate to stock up on Swords Dances and some speed buffs, and Baton Pass to this monster right here.

Another Pokemon I originally didn't like but ended up liking after using it was Terrakion. I was like "Virizion is my bro, yo. So stand back and let Virizion show you how it's do-" and then Virizion faints to Gust. Cobalion suffers from "Wannabe Lucario" syndrome, and sucks at its job sadly. Terrakion is a whole other story though, as it can take a hit, dish out the pain, and is pretty decently fast for a Rock type. Good movepool assists him as well, which makes sense now as he's one of the strongest contenders in the OU tier of the competitive play.

Posted by: Mars Adept Enten Aug 1 2013, 11:37 AM

Another B/W Pokémon that I wasn't terribly fond of but have found a liking for is Cyrogonal. I admit, I was kind of creeped out by its face at first. But once I put that aside and gave it a try, I realized how great it was as a special attacker/special wall. My level 50 one has 151 SDEF and can really take quite a few hits too. And Frost Breath is awesome with its auto-crit capabilities. Hrimthur really proved its worth at Opelucid, let me tell ya. cat.gif

Posted by: Aztos Aug 24 2013, 01:33 AM

Trubbish and Garbodor.
Seriously.
At first I tought that they were terrible.
But with time I started seeing some cool fanarts and after reading a wonderful text about that evoluiton line on bogleech.....I ended falling in love with those cute trash thingies.
I'm sure that Garbodor is in my top 10.

Posted by: Shattering Weavile Sep 5 2013, 07:40 PM

Staraptor, Crobat, growlithe, Chespin, and Lucario. I never liked lucario for battling because mine was...well...weak... I had no idea they could learn Aura Sphere. I never knew how badass lucario was. Yeah I'm stupid.

Posted by: Sachiko Shinozaki Sep 6 2013, 04:26 PM

I used to dislike Gible, for I though it was sqwat and ugly. Then, I learned it evolved into Garchomp. devil.gif Got one into my party immediately.

Posted by: Pancham Sep 6 2013, 05:27 PM

Pancham makes a goo-goo eyed face.

"Do I grow on you?"

Posted by: Meowstic Sep 20 2013, 10:07 PM

I really didn't like Stoutland's design at first and refused to evolve my Herdier into it. Now I think it's pretty cute.

Posted by: Deyula Oct 19 2013, 12:23 PM

Probably Magnemite would be one, Back when I was a kid, and they introduced that Pokemon, I thought inorganic Pokemon were kinda stupid. I guess it weirded me out or something, 'cause I always thought of Pokemon as different versions of animals. But now, I absolutely LOVE Magnemite! The fact that it IS inorganic fascinates me, plus I have always loved electric type Pokemon. I mean, come on, they look like floating magnets, and now I find them kinda cute in a way <3

Posted by: Angelblah Oct 19 2013, 12:29 PM

Well, I use to be not into Raichu...But later on the years I Seen How Cute and Strong he was cat.gif

Posted by: Shashy Oct 19 2013, 09:51 PM

I think I'd have to say Kingdra.
It was just hard in Pokemon Gold trying to beat Clair's Kingdra.
I wasn't a fan of dragon types actually until 3rd generation came along. Flygon and Salamence were amazing! (And still are!)

Posted by: DragonDoesMinecraft Nov 21 2013, 11:26 AM

Pokemon like the Turtwig line and Umbreon (who is now my favorite Pokemon) have grown on me a lot. Vaporeon, Crobat, Dewgong, Miltank, and the Shinx line have grown on me a lot too.

Posted by: The Shadow Nov 21 2013, 12:00 PM

Why, Bipen... Why'd you have to die...

So I think it'll have to be Ampharos. Like... Honestly I never really liked them but as soon as PkmnRob came out with Bipen as the ace... <3 that guy now

Yes Bipen. You ARE a dragon

Posted by: Dont Make a Sound Dec 11 2013, 01:45 AM

When Sinnoh first came out I found Torterra hideous but I decided to start with Turtwig in my Platinum and grew very fond of it. I adore my Torterra. His name is Boston and he's amazing.

Interestingly with Chikorita in Jhoto I went the other way, favored it for a long time but a year or so ago decided that Cyndaquil was both better looking throughout it's entire line in addition to being stronger and more useful. Also I recently realized it type advantages almost half the gyms. Azelea, Olivine and Mohogany.

Posted by: Amaura Jan 14 2014, 08:01 PM

Was never really a big fan of Gulpin gulpin.gif until I caught one in Pokemon Y and developed an appreciation for it's cuteness and ability to swallow and digest literally anything, then it started to evolve and I was worried it wouldn't be cute anymore but I fell in love with Swalot swalot.gif straight away and it's definitely up there with my favourite pokemon now happy.gif Love feeding him in Pokemon Amie, so funny and cute. I accidentally dropped his pokepuff once and he got so cranky!

Posted by: Captain Epic Jan 15 2014, 02:39 PM

Shedinja. The thought of having to look at the dark abyss of a hole on its back during battle unnerved me. The fact it only had 1hp when you first got it pissed me off.

But.

Shedinja uses Safeguard.
It only had 1hp.
So use a Focus Sash.
UNSTOPPABLE.

That, and I must admit that it is pretty cute from the front. The vagina that is its back is still horrifying lmao.

Posted by: Ross Hitchman Jan 21 2014, 12:52 PM

Trubbish is easily the biggest example. In the buildup to BW's release, I absolutely hated it and would constantly rail on it for its design. Then I got BW and encountered one. And the animation and cry just converted me instantly. I legit find Trubbish to just be adorable.

Posted by: King of the Eevees Jan 24 2014, 10:36 PM

I found Chatot to be stupid and Buizel to be useless. My thoughts of the two haven't changed. ALTHOUGH Chatot was my main fighter in Diamond until my Infernape outleveled it.

Er, for this one I'm going to have to say Sableye. I found that it was worse than Spiritomb in battle and just looked plain stupid. It has grown on me thanks to its higher speed.

Posted by: SilverPuppy9 Jan 28 2014, 02:04 AM

I never thought I'd actually confess this in public, but...

When I had decided to run my first Nuzlocke game, I had run it on my Pokemon Pearl. I started with a Piplup and named him Archie (Sapphire reference, anyone?). It was only a bit later that I caught my Bidoof. Female. Most everyone hates Bidoofs, right? Heh, that's the same thing I thought. I named her Felicity since I had to nickname every Pokemon I caught and didn't think much of her.

She proved more useful as a giant wall than I'd ever thought, until I got my Geodude named Geo. By that time, I had caught and named a Starly Pepper. Archie was low on health, so I sent out my Rock Smash-laden Bidoof, thinking she would be close to death by the time I got around to catching the thing. I was wrong. The thing barely made a dent in her fur.

It wasn't until Roark I found some ounce of respect for her.

Why?

Archie was the first to die...

If that Cranidos hadn't critted its Headbutt on Archie, he would have killed it. But that was not the case. Seeing that Geo would be vulnerable to the Cranidos, I sent out the only Pokemon I knew had a Fighting-type move: Felicity. She killed it with just two whacks. I sobbed heavy tears when I released Archie. But my love for Felicity grew ever more so as she became the next-biggest hitter. She was the one I looked to when I needed someone taken out immediately. She was the first one I attached a personality to (She was a lesbian in my head because she always came to the girls' rescue).

When I lost Geo, my heart broke. By then, I turned full-force to Felicity, seeing as how I had very few Pokemon left (Pepper and my Drifloon, Delilah). And then the 3rd gym came. I tried to challenge it, but...

I lost my Felicity. And everyone else fell after that.
I couldn't touch the game for a month.

So, the next time I look at a Bidoof, I'll always think of my Felicity.

And my Kricketot, Danish. But that's another story for another time.

Posted by: AikoMoriko Aug 3 2014, 05:55 AM

I used to hate venonat. I thought it was incredibly ugly and creepy but one day it suddenly was the opposite. Now I think it is adorable and cudly. It is just such a purple fluffball with the cutest little fangs and hands and feet. I have no idea what changed.

Posted by: Azuras Aug 6 2014, 02:26 PM

Xatu I think...
And Skarmory. She was very usefull in Emerald grin.gif

Posted by: Leien Aug 9 2014, 04:09 PM

Ironically Gyarados was the one that grew on me. Just its design gave me the creeps as a child. It wasn't until I started Nuzlocking that I started to like Magikarp, and then Gyarados. Now its one of my favorite Pokemon, though its design is still kinda creepy. But now I think that's a good thing. Let's see somebody cross me riding on a forever gaping serpent.

Posted by: Flier Aug 19 2014, 11:19 PM

The Litwick line. When it first was brought in, like most others, I thought the idea of a haunted chandelier for a Pokemon was plain stupid. The only Pokemon that pissed me off more than that were Muk and Trubbish. However, I ended up using one after all, and not only did it turn out to be a beast, I just grew to accept and like the guy as I went along. Its typing is definitely wicked.

Posted by: Numpty May 16 2015, 02:17 PM

Basically, the entire TF2 themed team. Especially the Heavy as an Audino.

Posted by: God Hand May 18 2015, 08:10 PM

Goomy. It literally looks like colored snot and it sounds like it's drowning. However seeing it animated and how cute it was I started to and ended up, liking it.

Posted by: anycold1011 May 19 2015, 02:29 AM

I love Suicune with ablility to purify water, it's very cool.

Posted by: Numpty Nov 1 2015, 09:17 AM

I always thought Froakie was too stuffy to be any reliable. Thought he would evolve into the ultimate British stereotype, complete with foam monocle and top hat. Boy, was I ever wrong. Turns out, he actually evolves up to a ninja and gains the Dark type in the process! Thus, I abandoned my original plan to get Fennekin at the start of the game.

Another Pokemon who grew on me was Blaziken. Just what my imagination did to him, painting him as a dorky little shyster who's best friends with Fluttershy. Due to this, I quickly cancelled all plans to start with Mudkip in the Hoenn Remakes and replacing that with Torchic. I always thought Blaziken was eh in terms of stats and looks. I mean, self-cooking chicken teriyaki!?

Ever since the incident with Tyra on Route u8, I always hated Ludicolos. Then, I found a Lotad in Route 102. She was so cute! I named her Mabel and painted her as an even dorkier love interest to George. Now, she's one of the guys who helped me defeat the Elite 4.

Posted by: shadowlarvitar Nov 4 2015, 10:15 PM

I used to dislike Stunfisk, but Cilan's Stunfisk in the anime made me fall in love with Stunfisk. The anime did that to a lot of Pokemon I didn't originally like, like standard Oshawott. I loved his evolutions always, but Ash's won me over to loving Oshawott

Posted by: Chaso Nov 12 2015, 08:30 AM

For me its always a case of finally having to use the pokemon in a game that causes me to warm up to them, so long as they're actually good.
I have a list in fact of Pokemon that I started out being rather avoidant of, but now have great memories.
Venusaur. I hated how in Pokemon stadium his eyes would turn bloodshot whenever he attacked, he just struck me as unbelievably ugly and useless, though in X and Y, I chose Bulbasaur, and its Mega Evolution and my ability to see that he was suited as a tank all along made me appreciate him more.
Parasect. Useless Useless Ugly Useless. But Strangely in a Pokemon Yellow playthrough, My Parasect named "Moonside" was one of the strongest members of my party. I don't hate him anymore, but I probably wont choose him over my other favs.
Omanyte. Praise Helix, adorable little god.
Quagsire. Although I always loved Wooper I hated Quagsire until Pokemon Colosseum made me use one.
Ludicolo. MIROR B. THE PAIN, THE RAIN, THE DANCE, THE AGONY. I LOVE IT SO MUCH.
Exploud. I grew up and started to love big beasty monsters like Nidoking and Exploud, but Exploud I used to hate as a kid cuz he was just so ugly with that mouth.
Ninjask, and Shedinja. I discovered Baton pass and Shadow Sneak and suddenly these Pokemon weren't useless garbage after all. False and Relay are the back bones of my team on AS. Also Shedinja's tendency to "tough out" a hit with the Amie System makes me "aww" every time.
Nosepass and Probopass. Like Ninjask and Shedinja, Info the Probopass (Relay False Info) is the set up and tank of the team, I found Nosepass by chance while rock smashing in AS and thought I might as well keep this hard to find Pokemon. Despite being under leveled, it breezed through Flannery's gym on its own. Probopass still strikes me as an ugly pokemon, but I don't mind as much now.
Also you can press down his hat in Pokemon Amie.
Kyurem and Reshiram. I hate both of their designs, but White Kyurem makes up for BOTH of them by far.

Posted by: MismagiusOmegaXD Dec 28 2015, 03:51 AM

I wouldn't say I ever hated this pokemon, but i honestly never even considered using this pokemon until I saw shadypenguinn using him in a battle once and I have fallen in love with it ever since. Weezing and it's will-o-wisp has saved me in countless battles and it has now become an integral part of my competitive team.

Now when it first came out I thought Slurpuff was the most ridiculous, freaky looking little thing in the pokemon world. Then I found out it had unburden + Belly Drum..... LOOOL

I guess once you give a pokemon a chance in battle it can surprise you.

Posted by: Megalovania Jan 3 2016, 12:47 AM

i didn't dislike this pokemon, but it still definitely grew on me.

meowth. i was never too fond of it, but after rewatching pokemon 2000 something about his character grew on me. as such i just really like all meowths now, haha.

Posted by: Lannisters Mar 14 2016, 02:40 PM

Dedenne! <3 When I first saw the design for it (in a leak? not sure anymore) all I could think was 'Oh no, not another Pikachu spin-off'. I never really did anything with it in Pokemon X & Y, until someone send me one on WT. At first I thought 'what is this?', followed shortly by the thought 'dang, this thing looks cute'. Next thing I knew I threw it in my party and put Pokémon Amie on. If anyone ever activated a Dedenne in Pokémon Amie, I don't need to tell you how absolutely ADORABLE the little fricking bugger is!!

.. and after that I completely fell in love with it, put it in my second team on my Y file and love it up to this day! <3

Posted by: Kougie Mar 18 2016, 02:41 PM

Emboar.
I really did NOT like it at first, but it's actually become one of my faves now, haha.

Posted by: Mars Adept Enten Dec 16 2016, 01:04 PM

It's not like I hated it before (I didn't. I loved it a lot, actually), but Moon has really increased my fondness for Zygarde. I have one on my team currently, and ol' Jormungandr's pretty beast. He saved my ass when I fought Hapu by taking out her annoying Flygon with Core Enforcer. ^_^.gif Her Gastrodon took him down, though. I ended up having to finish off her team using my Incineroar, Ganondorf. A few Darkest Lariats nabbed me a win, thank God. And mine has a pretty good moveset, IMO. It's a tad heavy on Ground moves, but that serves me well enough, as he's my only relatively high-level Ground-type. And Land's Wrath Z-movified? 185 power Tectonic Rage, yo. grin.gif

Posted by: RavenABlack Mar 27 2017, 09:02 AM

I'd have to say Butterfree. I used to raise my Caterpies, evolve and box them until I decided to finally try to Nuzlocke.

So one of the first Pokemon I got was Charlie the Caterpie and he really surprised me as he became my ATV and damn near single handedly took out the Elite 4! I was just like "You're a beast!! Why have I never really raised one of you before?" And so I've tried keeping more open mind to Butterfree and bugs in general since. XD

Posted by: DoktorPest Apr 22 2017, 06:48 PM

I used to dislike Drowzee and Hypno. But nowadays, I love them. especially Hypno. It's just...awesome. And I love the creepy factor.
