So since the beginning of 2017 I haven't been able to start an exploration. Could somebody help me?

Sorry to have a bunch of kinda silly questions, but you haven't given much information to go on, so I have to ask about these to clarify.
1) How many Explorations have you been on before? If you've only been on Beachside Treasure before, please know that it's a tutorial Exploration, and every other one has higher requirements. You can see the requirements next to each Exploration's image on the Explore page: they each require a certain number of interactions, Dex entries, achievements and points. Certain ones also require you to own the Vs. Seeker. 2) Did you make sure to fully complete your most recent Exploration? Open the Explorations tab of your Poketch (the place where you would move from task to task). If it's blank, great, you're done and theoretically you should be able to embark on more Explorations. But if it has a storyline wrap-up, then you still need to click the house-shaped icon to fully complete it, even if you've already received the reward. The site, unfortunately, will only allow you to do this on the desktop view, not the mobile view. 3) If you've ensured you meet the requirements for an Exploration and don't have a previous one still ongoing, but you can't embark... then I'm not sure what the problem is! Just in case it helps us narrow down the issue, could you please let us know what platform and Internet browser you're using, as well as whether you have any extensions (such as AdBlock)? In addition to the third point of Pumpkinking, it could be that you currently have 6 Pokémon in your party. You need to have at least 1 slot open (so a maximum of 5 Pokémon in your party) in order to start an exploration.
