they are replacing everyone! i want brock to stay! i want the old nurse joy and her chansey to stay! here are my reasons:
I liked brock!
I hate the new nurse joy with her ugly audino!
I want everyone to stay!
I and i really, really, really don't like cilan!

Change is apart of Pokemon. Things always change in the end, it's just this time the change was bigger then before. Main reason is because they want to give Pokemon more of a "fresh" feeling.

I prefer to have characters leave since the longer the stay the more they wont get to develop. Eventually they will reach a dead end and have to do something, removing the character is the best option.

I liked Brock but he was in the show for a very long time, he didn't get as much focus as he could either, mainly because the writers probably didn't see how they could work on his breeding dream on a steady bases. In the end he got a good ending.

As for Joy, it's just a new hair style and a change of clothes, nothing really else. It's not like we see Joy in every episode. Very minor. Same for Audino, even though I personally get creep out by it, which is a first.

I like Cilan, so I'm glad he's in the show, and it seems the writers are focusing on his dream more then they did with Brock so that's always good.

I agree with the post above. Frankly, better they switch out the main cast every now and again than have the same repetitive storylines with the same characters over and over again until you get completely sick of the ones that you like. (Pokemon? Repetitive storylines? No wai!)

As with any show or book or whatever, it's all about the journey. I mean... maybe Brock and Nurse Joy and the others simply ran their course. Ash's story isn't complete yet, hence, the show continues and is contingent upon him reaching his goals and finding happiness, whereas with other insulary characters, maybe they've done all they needed to do and it's time for new stories to start. Love or hate the new characters, art imitates life, and characters will come and go.

At least, that's what I think

I personilly don't like all those new outfits either. I want the old ones back. at least on Jenny and Joy.

It's like let's add some of the best characters ever but then kick them out of the show

I think they should have changes, but it would be nice if they had changes AND kept old characters. Now THAT would be interesting.

The voice actor changes make me mad and now I'm more interested in which pokemon their going to have come out next in an episode then the story.

I think they are making it more like the games. In which, there were NO Pokemon before Generation 5 until the main story was finished, quite like in the show, at least so far, save for Pikachu and Meowth. That's the reason Team Rocket had to let their Pokemon return to HQ, after all, they aren't native to Unova.

As for the Brock thing, I love Brock, but they replaced him with someone I like (Cilan).

As for Iris, I really and truly do not like her. She is a constant reminder of Misty, whom (Get your shotguns) I really, really disliked.

When it comes to teams, I like them. Tepig, Pidove, Oshawott, Snivy, and Pikachu are great for Ash, particularly Snivy and Tepig imo. I absolutely LOVE Cilan's Pansage and Dwebble. Iris's Axew, I do not like, nor do I like her Excadrill. Kinda disappointed Jessie caught a Woobat, but it seems fitting. I would have preferred her to catch something like, I dunno, Cubchoo or even Venipede.

The only thing I hate about the BW series is that Jessie and James and Meowth are no longer fun. :< They made the show worth watching, since Dawn was a derp all the time last season. Now they're all serious. *i iz sad*

Cilan is cool. Iris is creepy. I mean, she keeps her Axew in her hair? o_O

Disagreed with above about Team Rocket. As the series went on, Jessie, James and Meowth became nothing but a joke. And not a funny joke either, I mean an old, stale, poor excuse to get a laugh, which often times didn't work. Some episodes were literally "Team Rocket appears. One pokemon attack. Team Rocket defeated and blasted into the sky." Really, people liked that? I thought it was pretty damn sad that that was what the Rocket trio had become.

For once, the trio is actually somewhat of a threat, sort of like how they were waaay back in the first few episodes of pokemon. I think the drastic change in personality from Sinnoh to Unova is a little far-fetched and not entirely realistic, but as a whole, I personally think it's for the better. When the trio appear, I no longer have the same feeling of "Oh god, these guys again. Just get rid of them and be done with it." They're actually a little intriguing for once.

I'm fond of Cilan now, because he thinks logically and isn't easily pulled into superstitious mumbo-jumbo. He tries to find a scientific explanation to things, rather than attribute something to mysterious psuedo workings.

This earned him a huge plus in my book.

Well, as for Joy and Jenny, you have to remember, Unova is on the OTHER SIDE of the world. Sure, you saw the Joy from Kanto easily populate 4 CLOSE BY regions, but Unova is thousands of miles away.

I agree with PyramidKing about Joy, but they don't really show Jenny that much so why should it matter.
