My favorite is Charmander. He may not be good against the first 2 gyms, and he's alright against the third, but the last 5 are pretty easy for him as a Charizard.

I think I'll always be an advocate of Bulbasaur. He holds a special place in my heart, and he'll always be the best to me I guess. *shrug* Ash and Pikachu deal? I think so.
Anyway, overall....mudkip I think has it good. the water/ground combo makes it only really weak to grass, and lets it learn some spiffy moves B). Plus, its mudkip. Everyone loves mudkip, apparently. -------------------- You have been challenged by PokePrincess Bri! I only give out my D/P code if I really want to trade/battle with you That's right, I called it. *strokes* Venusaur's MINE I tell you! |

I'm with Bri.
Bulbasaur holds a very special place in my heart <3 Plus, one of my ultimate favorites is Ivysaur (only because of my actual first Ivysaur in Red, as a matter of fact). Turtwig is close second because nothing beats a cute little turtle with a stick on its head <333 |

It would have to be either Cyndaquill, Totodile, or Treecko.

Favorite from each region:
Kanto - Charmander. In FR it was even better since you could solo the E4 with just a Charizard so long as you had the right moves. Jhoto - Cyndaquil. I was still a huge fan of the fire types and cyndaquil was no exeption. His special stat made him very powerful with all the fire type moves he got early. Hoenn - Treeko. I wasnt too impressed with the Hoenn region as a whole, but Treeko managed to win a place in my party with its Leaf Blade and high speed. Sinnoh - Turtwig. Now I'm all about good defence when it comes to starters since I could get high powered pokemon early in the game from the start. Plus Torterra learning my favorite move Earthquake was a ton of fun! All around - Cyndaquil. Its cute, it evolves into high powered Typhlosion who learns a ton of new fire moves in the 4th gen, and mine is still my favorite from Jhoto. -------------------- I'm working on art via photoshop. I can also now do gifs as seen by my avatar!
