1hour rule

I know we got the flame orb to reduce the effects here, but I can't seem to get enough of them.
So I sugget to have the 1hour rule lowered to 40 minutes on x1.5 day, 30 minutes on x2 days and 20 minutes on x3 days. Just to get the same time to hatch the eggs compared to the amount of maturity bonus.

For example today, what we would normally do in an hour will happen in half the time.

Yeah thats a good idea. I never seem to get any Flame Orbs, only Heart Scales who are apparently stalking me, but however, I find this very good idea, which would help a lot of mass clickers.

Yeah I could see that working. It makes sense anyway. Everything else gets modified to encourage more activity on CM days... It would make sense to help people hatch eggs faster.

Yeah, I'm also onboard the support train here. I'm not super active, but on bonus days I find myself sitting around now and then waiting for an egg to hatch, and don't want to use up all my Flame Orbs. (I guess it doesn't help me that I'm shiny hunting things that hatch quickly.)

Not really, because even if the 1hour rule is reduced to 40 min on a 1.5 day I still do mature eggs faster than 40 min.

The problem is that I need those orbs on regular days, but I don't have an infinite amount to use. You see some of the users hatch eggs really fast on regular days, so when we get a x2 day the prize is really just to hit the 1hour rule in half the time.

Once again, your solution is really good, but the amount of flame orbs is too little to really help out.

Imagine arceus thrasher setting his click-record when shinyhunting magikarp.

I'd love to see this suggestion be made a part of multiplier days. The way I click, I'm always running into a wall of time as I wait for my eggs to become ripe for hatching after hitting full maturity on a multiplier day. Most of the time, I'm wondering if I should just circulate hatched pokemon around my party like I've seen others do and avoid the hatch time issue all together. Personally, if I'm in a shiny race or just shiny hunting, I'd rather not give up on a faster egg maturing time.

The rarity of the Flame Orb makes it difficult to shiny hunt on a multiplier day as a lot of the time if I'm not grabbing eggs from the shelter (which typically runs pretty dry on a multiplier day), I'm stuck waiting for the eggs to hatch.

Maybe if there were some cut rate Flame Orbs available in the back room (or in the regular shop) only on multiplier days, that would help. As it is now, I typically watch the shop for both Flame Orbs & Focus Sashes which rarely come up for sale in the backroom. The Flame Orbs are most useful on the multiplier days as suggested but due to the rarity much harder to come across.

The Flame Orb basically is compromise about lowering the 1 hour rule.

You're not supposed to be able to get hundreds of them with ease, they are meant to be an occasional convenience if you're in a rush or are fairly active on a certain day. The same with Heart Scales.

Did I ever say that I hatch eggs in more than 40 minutes on x1.5 days, and 30 minutes on x2 days? No, because I hatch eggs in under an hour on regular days, even if the 1hour rule would be changed to go with the multiplier, I'd still hatch eggs faster than I could.

I fully support this, but want the staff to decide the time reduction. You named 40 mins on a x1.5 day. Maybe the staff finds 45 mins more appropriate.

But still, great idea!

The suggested time reductions are in direct proportion to the multiplier increase. Hatching eggs would effectively work the same as on any non-multiplier day if the hatching time was reduced in the suggested manner.
