First, stone and friendship evos can evolve right now. It's happened at least once in each case.
Second, I'm going to go out on a limb and say we're treating those like evolve-at-level-up pokemon. Your pokemon can evolve at the level they would normally learn that move. -------------------- |

Oh! Oh! New question! *raises hand*
Trade Evolutions. How do those work? Obviously the multiplier would be applied at evolution, but is a trade really necessary? I would think that a Trade wouldn't really be necessary, if you assumed that the evolution was induced by the stress or emotional build up of being traded. (In combination with the proper item, of course.) Though, with Pokemon like Porygon, or Slowpoke, exceptions would have to be made. (The slowpoke would have to put the King's Rock on his it's head and then stick it in the water to be bitten by a Shellder. A Porygon could in theory randomly evolve during digital transport when exposed to the proper data. Or even in a manner similar to using a TM.) Does that seem okay? -------------------- |

Cube - Yeah, those ideas sound good.
Exposure to the appropriate item is the only thing needs for "Item-held then traded" evolutions. For simple trades, like Alakazam, Genger etc, we treat this as a happiness evolution. In both cases, you *can* RP the trade to make it work that way, too. -------------------- Darryn Kellor ~ ~ PANE Moderator ~ ~ Lori Pardare PANE Characters (click to show ) LA's Plays (click to show ) Unovalocke (click to show ) |
