Ok. So. I started a shiny hunt with a friend earlier this morning, and got my shiny first egg, so while it waited for her to hatch one before declaring me the winner, another drop down was in my shine recorder to start a hunt. I went ahead and put in Murkrow, just to see what it would do and now I have 4 hunts going (Cyndaquil, Piplup, Squirtle, and Murkrow) and I can apparently still send another challenge. Just wondering what exactly is up with this, if this is a glitch or what. Thanks.

You're allowed to have 3 regular shiny hunts with yourself, and then one challenge against someone else, adding to a total of 4.

Yes... and if you read the OP's post, they had 4, and were still being given the option to start another. And if you click the link I posted, I think they included a screenshot... For some reason when you start a shiny race, until it officially "begins", it seems to disregard counting one of your previous shiny hunts... |
