Appearance:
Ciaran is slightly below average height at 5ft 7. He wears his signature T-shirt under a shirt combination, and all clothing has to be of a similar colour. His clothing sense is ever-so-slightly eccentric, and likes wearing bright coloured sunglasses and shoes. He likes to wear 'loud' shirts with colourful patterns on them, that have sleeves that are able to tie up to the elbow. He is usually seen in three-quarter length cargo trousers. If his clothes don't seem to match in colour, he will try and get as much as possible to patch, and wear grey for other clothing. He has brown hair that turns red during the bright summer months. He has the most magnificent brown eyes, with a few green specks on each iris.

Personality:
He is very charming and polite, and gets on with all sorts of different types of people. He has a massive love for Bug, and Dark Pokemon. He is very loving to his Pokemon and treats them all very fairly. He is a gentleman, and always helps others, either Pokemon or Humans, when they're in trouble. He likes to work his Pokemon to their limits, but knows to look after their mental, and physical well-being, and will not enter a Pokemon into a battle if it's unwell. Ciaran is usually a quiet person, but will make himself be heard if the need arises.

Ciaran loves battling and naturally thinks he is a great trainer, even though he has just started his journey. However, on the few occasions where he has battled, he has either lost, or just managed to pull through to a victory.

Biography:
Ciaran was born in Azalea Town, Johto, and lived there for many years. As a child, he traveled a lot, throughout other regions, hence why he has Pokemon not native to Johto in his team. His father brought back several Pokemon from an expedition in the Unova region, and gave Ciaran his very first Pokemon, a Litwick, from the travels he went on through Unova. He recently moved to Furoh, without his parents, but with his Pokemon team to start a proper Pokemon journey. He has had next to no time at all to train his Pokemon team due to high intensity college work. To celebrate his journey into Furoh, Ciaran's parents gave him a new Pokemon to accompany his team, one native to his homeland of Johto: a Murkrow.

As a child, Ciaran was never interested in Pokemon at all, he was more interested in doing well at his education. However, after High School he decided to take a gap year and was urged by his parents to volunteer at a Pokemon Gym, to broaden his horizons. He chose the local Gym of Azalea Town, and the nearby one in Violet City. This is where he found a love for Pokemon, and he realized he wanted to know more about them, so enrolled to study them at college. Now that his college work in Animal and Pokemon Management has finished, he thought he'd start out on a Pokemon adventure. He wanted to go somewhere far away from his parents, as they annoyed him immensely with their constant nagging and arguments, so decided to head for the distant region of Furoh. He decided to study Animal and Pokemon Management because he is interested in the welfare of them both.

During his college days he studied all about Pokemon, and realized that battling was fun, and he found out that he did rather well in that aspect of his college work. He also studied under Bugsy in his younger years, and Burgh when in Unova. It was in the latter region that Ciaran really decided he loved Bug Pokemon, and Burgh was so impressed with Ciaran's attitude towards the upkeep of the gym, and interest in Bug Pokemon, that he gave Ciaran a young Joltik as a gift. Ciaran was so happy and moved that he told Burgh he will spend his life helping and raising Bug Pokemon.

Ciaran hasn't had the best life. He has been caught in several natural disasters, been in a large car accident, and has had a tree fall on top of him. However, these incidences haven't made him frightened of the outside world, and continues to be the outgoing individual he's always been.

Class:
Ciaran classes himself as a Bug Catcher as he loves Bug Pokemon over other types, however he knows that in order to create a good team, other types need to be thought about too.

Appearance: Needs to be beefed up. "T-shirt under a shirt" What's the other shirt look like? Also, is he wearing pants? Shorts? Kilt (hey, you said he was eccentric :P)? You'll want to mention style as well (denim, cargo, etc.)

Bio: You hint at a ton of stuff that happened in Ciaran's life, but I'd like for you to go into detail. What were his childhood travels like? Where did he go? Why did he go? Why didn't he have a pokemon journey when he was 10-12? Did anything happen to him as a teen? You mentioned fears: what were they and how did he get over them? Why does he consider himself a Bug Catcher? Why is he in Furoh and not somewhere else? How is he able to make this journey with all of that "high-intensity college work". While we're at it, what's he doing in college (major) and why is he doing it?

There's so much you can put into Ciaran's story. His story could be very interesting, but you need to write it first.
