I just visited the polls and (dare I say it? I dare! I dare!) We have very talented artists here at GPX and far better candidates than the US Presidential election! There are five polls with 20 entries each, and 5 votes are allowed per poll again. These will be up until Friday night, three full days. Again, the top ten per poll will move on. Some have already done so in the community thread, and someone else has posted a separate thread in the GPX Discussion section for eliminated eggs. I won't lie, the number of rounds is not yet decided. I am deciding round info as new rounds begin. There will most likely be 2-3 more rounds, don't see a reason for more than that. Some gorgeous eggs in the contest! Mine didn't make it to round 2, but I didn't expect it to really. Spriting details is a lot harder than it looks, and just trying makes me even more impressed with the entries that actually made it. Hats off to everyone, and good luck!

I agree with Lodre. Also Zerxer, I was looking at previous contests and just wanted to know what number of entries making it into the 1st to 7th place? Is it like the top 50 eggs?

I just want to thank all people who voted for my egg.
It didnt make it to the 3rd round but I wasn't expecting it to. Actually I was baffled and surprised it made it to round 2. I made it with normal Paint in like 3 minutes, I have no clue how to make the background transparent (I think in Paint you can't) and it was my first ever sprite I have done to any contest or anything. There were/are so many brilliant works in the contest I thought my egg wouldnt stand a chance. So again, thank you everyone who voted on it.  This is the egg  |

I feel you Kazuchan, I was surprised I made it to round 3. What's even more surprising is I was so close to making it to round 4 as well. Ah well. Pretty sure I know whose going to win though.
